Good location - excellent service - good pizza. Finally a Foggia-style pizza and not a Neapolitan-style one.

I only ate the pizza which isn't to my taste, I prefer it crunchier...the semifreddo and the artisanal desserts in general were excellent...maybe we waited a little too long I think because of the takeaway pizzas considering it's a Saturday...

I came across it by chance and was pleasantly surprised not only by the excellent food, but also by the kindness, speed of service, courtesy and attention to the customer. Even though we were drinking coke we were given a second glass, which is very rare in Roman restaurants, unless requested.. Restaurant with an authentic flavour. Highly recommended!

14/02/2024 San Valentino. Servizio eccellente con personale molto simpatico ed accogliente,ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. Il cibo tutto molto buono e pesce fresco (potevamo scegliere tra menù di mare e menù di terra). Vi consiglio di assaggiare il tiramisù della casa.

Da autista autobus consiglio vivamente di provare questa osteria, a dir poco da 5 stelle. Prelibatezze e piatti tipici consigliati e serviti da personale simpatico e professionale. Prezzo conveniente e qualità impeccabile. D'ora in poi solo qui...

Bevor wir auf den Nachtzug gingen, hatten wir einige Stunden zu überbrücken. Was in Foggia gar nicht so einfach ist. Zum Glück sind wir auf die Osteria del Gran Arso gestossen, ein äusserst sympathisches Lokal mit exzellenten Pizze. Der Wirt legt wert auf gute Musik und spielt auf der Gitarre gerne ein paar Riffs mit. Die Gäste sind gemischt, viele scheinen aus dem Quartier zu kommen. Aber auch als Touristen haben wir uns herzlich willkommen gefühlt.

07/04/2024: Pleasant evening, place found "by chance" and without having booked. Nice welcome and immediate accommodation. Typical dishes recommended, much appreciated by everyone. Very kind staff and an intimate and well-kept place. An experience to repeat and to let other friends know too!!!!

12/10/2023: What a beautiful evening. We made a reservation for the evening on Thursday afternoon. We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. I wished for Prosecco, which wasn't even on the menu...served ice cold. We had salad and sardinia as a starter... really tasty. Golden yellow and freshly baked. Then spaghetti aglio oilio with shrimp tartare...the best we've ever had. Great all around...also the ambience in the restaurant. We would have gone again but everything is reserved on the weekend.. We can understand that.. keep it up ❤️
09/10/2023: A high quality experience for both the cuisine and the service. 10 of us had lunch, everything was excellent and the service was of the highest level, always with a smile and kindness without forgetting the friendly environment
