From the first meeting, we were followed with great attention by Antonio, who expertly guided us in choosing the menu and organizing the evening. The result was simply extraordinary, going far beyond our expectations. The location has been set up with attention to the smallest details, the menu is abundant and of the highest quality, and the service is impeccable, with a staff who is always attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Antonio and the entire Bar Corallo team for making this occasion so special and unforgettable. We highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to organize a perfect event!

24/03/2025: Chi ti porta a spasso per la tradizione con qualità ed amore andrebbe incensato per i lustri a venire. Sospesa nel tempo la cucina, estremamente cordiali, non invadenti e soprattutto professionali il personale di sala. Consigliatissimo. Ritornerò.

22/03/2025: Pssst, you Swedes traveling east from Milan. A little jewel in a traditional Italian village setting with a really warm character and cozy environment. The head chef speaks good English, is very sympathetic and takes an interest in the guests' gastronomic experience. Exciting menu with an enticing wine list! The head chef told us that they will shortly be opening a newly renovated b&b apartment. Take the time to discover El Bagolo! (Sunday evening and Monday are rest days.)

27/03/2025: First time I've had a mixed fry leftover (salt only), the same goes for the grilled calamari. Spaghetti al cartoccio with scenic foil around the plate but the plate was cold... Bathroom with non-working sink and electrical socket made of scotch tape

The place is unusual, it is located on the first floor of a building with very convenient parking. The welcome is informal but warm, the mise en place is truly particular and cared for, but the wonder is the dishes: excellent quality raw materials, balanced flavours... there must be a smart person in the kitchen. You won't regret the visit

08/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo locale per a prima nostra cena a Matera, perché abbiamo letto recensioni in Tripadvisor, nei pressi del ns b&b Al Vicinato nei Sassi, e siamo state colpite dalle recensioni e dalla caratteristica di essere scavato in una grotta, dove un tempo le persone del posto vi abitavano. Non siamo state deluse, anzi di più. Talmente che abbiamo mangiato bene, che ci siamo tornati anche a cena la sera successiva e a pranzo il giorno successivo prima di ripartire. Quando vi abbiamo mangiato noi c'erano ancora i camerieri, oggi invece ordini e vai a ritirare i piatti fuori la cucina, chiamandoti quando sono pronti. Abbiamo mangiato tutte specialità del posto. Antipasto di salumi, formaggi e latticini del posto, fave e cicoria accompagnato dal tipico pane di Matera fatto a crostini. Orecchiette con zucca, guanciale, stracciata e peperone crusco. Orecchiette al sugo Materano. Peperone crusco, Crapiata(zuppa di tantissimi legumi sempre con crostini di pane di Matera)[è un piatto tipico che si faceva alla fine del raccolto e si condivideva insieme al vicinato. Per prepararla ognuno offriva dei tipi di legumi provenienti dal proprio raccolto, un bel momento di condivisione].Acqua, coca, caffè, dolci e panna cotta al peperone crusco (divina).
