15/11/2025: Good wine, very tasty pasta with beetroot mouse. We try fish it was tasty and fresh. Bit confused about rules: if you take degustation menu per 2 persons, you can jot choose different dishes, bit stupid if you meet lover and your girl vegetarian or fish lover. Al rest very very good.

11/11/2025: Returning after many years, we found a renovated and expanded restaurant with a stunning veranda overlooking the village. The octopus appetizer and homemade ravioli were both very good, as was the welcome dish with a fabulous orange butter. The cod main course was decent, though not up to the standard of the previous courses. The desserts were good, but not exceptional. The option of choosing your wines directly from the display was a nice touch. Many modest, somewhat pricey champagnes were also available, along with Italian options in various price ranges. Service was perfect, perhaps a little cold... reasonable prices, with the option of choosing from the tasting menus, which were definitely worthwhile.

The focaccia and focaccia di Recco were truly delicious, not to mention the owner's friendliness and kindness. A lovely, high-quality place, highly recommended. I'll be back.

02/11/2025: For the first time, I came to Pomarico, a stone's throw from Matera, for work, and on the recommendation of some acquaintances, I was directed to this restaurant. I couldn't have given better advice. The food is truly excellent. The veal tagliata is spectacular, with a side of country-style potatoes. Even though one of the house specialties is horse meat, whose cuts are processed in various ways, including the diaphragm, which is very difficult to find, both for veal and horse. The only flaw, if I may say so, but it's not so much a criticism as a recommendation, especially since I stand by the five-star rating, is the bottle of Primitivo di Manduria. It can't be served chilled; it's blasphemy. Otherwise, everything was excellent. I hope to return. Highly recommended. See you next time.

06/12/2025: I tried the brunch and will do it again. Very good savory options, a few more vegetables wouldn't hurt, but everything was good. The desserts are very sweet for me, but I've only tried two: cynnamon rolls and tiramisu.
