A Veronese osteria recommended to us by local friends. And deservedly so! A lovely traditional menu with dishes to enjoy. I had Bigoli al Musso and Baccalà alla Vicentina, both very good. Absolutely fair prices! Highly recommended.

This review doesn't need to be written. We'll say it right away. Because then people read it, go, fall in love, and we're left without a table, staring at the closed door. But oh well, the damage is done.
Let's start off badly: the place is lovely. But in the wrong way, eh—the kind that makes you say, "It's so nice to be here," and ruins your plans to leave after the first shot. Annoying.
The staff... a serious problem. Kind, smiling, even attentive. Who asked for that? You go out even to complain a little, and instead, nothing: treated well from start to finish. Embarrassing.
The wine list is another problem: too pretty, too interesting. You try to act good, then read two lines and find yourself ordering "only one bottle out of 10"... five times. Especially if you're coming from Montefalco with your Sagrantino already frowning at you and you're also looking for an Amarone. Unmanageable situation.
Let's draw a veil over the food: traditional cuisine done well. But how well? Poorly, because then you want to try everything. And you end up leaving happy. And that wasn't the goal.
Affordable prices. Now, that really doesn't help. Because at least one might say, "Okay, the food is good but it's too expensive." But no. They're taking away even this satisfaction.
In short, we don't recommend it. Or rather, yes. Actually, no. Pretend not to notice.
Anyway, we accidentally return every year for Vinitaly. And unfortunately (or fortunately) this year too.

Excellent place, the atmosphere reminds you of the old taverns of the past. The food is very good. We had appetizers: pasta and beans, bigoli del Musso, tripe, polenta and cod, and colt. All really good at a very fair price. Friendly staff. We really had a great time, and if you're in Verona, I highly recommend it.

We visited during lunchtime because, unfortunately, that area isn't very safe at night.
The tavern still feels like it used to, with small tables and very friendly service.
The prices are also reasonable for truly delicious and interesting dishes!
I recommend stopping by for a small drink and a snack.

Beautiful osteria, we had a wonderful time. A truly authentic place: you could feel the atmosphere of an old-fashioned osteria, not at all "aged," quite the opposite. It makes you understand what it means to eat at a place that maintains a close connection to its roots. Well done! The food is excellent and the price-quality ratio is unbeatable. Special mention for the tagliata: delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful.
