16/02/2025: mah! ambiente elegante e curato, all'esterno sulla piazzetta con le lucine è magico, ma all'interno ... perchè non rinunciare a 2 tavoli e mettere invece un separè? l'ingresso alla toilette era troppo vicino a un tavolo da 4, lo sciacquone mente si cena non favorisce la poesia.. nel tavolo di fianco al nostro il signore guardava il muro invece che la sala, credo che non vada bene. servizio attento, premuroso, gentile, senza essere invadente. siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo molti anni, in occasione del nostro anniversario, perchè da giovani venivamo spessissimo, consigliati dagli zii di mio marito che erano ospiti fissi la domenica a pranzo dalla sign. zelmira, e prendevamo sempre i loro famosissimi nidi, un piatto superlativo che abbiamo poi tentato di replicare a casa. anche stasera abbiamo ordinato i nidi, ma purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi. sono diventati una cosa rotonda che poteva contenere tagliatelle ma anche altro, senza la classica gratinatura che ricordavamo. mio marito ha ordinato la coppa di maiale che ha apprezzato, io invece il petto d'anatra. la cipolla alla liquerizia decisamente buona, la riduzione allo cherry con ciliegie anche no, parevano più ciliegie fabbri che in mostarda. il soufflè di mela in realtà era una fettina di mela brasata ricoperta da panna montata. presentata benissimo ma non un soufflè. il conto è onestissimo, se consideriamo le portate e il vino. sicuramente torneremo, ma per assaggiare piatti più tradizionali

03/02/2025: Nice restaurant in the center of Modena. It's been on my list of places to try for a while, but I was waiting for the opportunity to go with company. I finally gave in and went alone. The place is well furnished, elegant to the right degree. Non-intrusive service. I wanted to try some mashed potatoes and cotechino meatballs, very good. As well as the first off the menu, lean cannelloni with pumpkin cream. Prices a little higher than average, but in this case I would say commensurate with the quality of the place.

The place is still nice and the service is kind, but the quality and quantity of the dishes has significantly worsened. Plus the higher prices. I will return for a new evaluation, but in the meantime...

22/02/2025: We arrived on a Saturday at 6.50pm and were seated straight away but ate at 8.40pm. The piadina had excellent ingredients but the dough was a little too thick and therefore difficult to swallow. I cannot guarantee the correct number of pieces of the piadina. It must be said that the staff was very kind and even gave us cards to pass the time, but the wait was really too long. Maybe the game isn't worth the candle, I dare say.

14/01/2025: We were with friends for lunch on January 12th, the persistent snow blocked the electrical switches throughout the area... but these guys guaranteed lunch for everyone despite the thousand difficulties and inconveniences they had, delicious dishes, excellent service, right account.... despite, I repeat, all the inconveniences they have had. 10+ Well done everyone!!

22/02/2025: Wonderful and satisfying dinner in all aspects, the proposals are many and quite sophisticated, the restaurant is really taken care of in every detail and the warm atmosphere makes you feel truly pampered. All the waiters are very knowledgeable in explaining the details of the various dishes, and also suggest the differences if you have doubts about what to choose. As for our dinner, everything was perfect, from the appetizers to the desserts, and objectively, even if the quality is high, the prices are fair. Heartfelt congratulations, highly recommended as a restaurant, we will definitely be back!

21/02/2025: Laido is always a guarantee. Small but very intimate restaurant, few seats covered, compensated by the maximum welcome from the owners and the service which is nothing short of excellent. The exceptional staff, prepared to present all the dishes and give advice on what to pair with them. I felt pampered. The dishes are something spectacular, as are the combinations of ingredients, if you want to try the typical Ferrara cuisine it is a must to stop by. Honorable mention also goes to the meat, among the best I've ever eaten before. Highly recommended

10/03/2025: Sinceramente mi aspettavo di meglio. Location carina ma all’interno c’era freddo, risotto molto buono, il dolce non era male, unica grande pecca è stato il servizio, lentissimo e disordinato. Hanno portato da bere solo quaranta minuti dopo aver ordinato, un contenitore di acqua non filtrata (con residui fluttuanti all’interno) e un calice di vino della casa (costretto a prendere se non vuoi ordinare la bottiglia intera di un altra cantina). Poca scelta di vini al calice. Primo piatto presentato bene ma arrivato un ora dopo aver ordinato (fortunatamente eravamo solo in due). Anche al tavolo di fianco al nostro hanno fatto del casino con le portate e le tempistiche (lamentandosi giustamente). Prezzi dei piatti nella media, alti per i vini.

08/02/2025: Exciting location, an old stable restored maintaining the soul of the place, beautiful photos of Ligabue on the walls and modern designer furnishings. The menu is limited but with interesting extra menus, the quality at the highest on every course. The price is correct and the service friendly and efficient. Excellent and well-stocked wine cellar. Desserts with pastry shop quality. A beautiful evening.
