It's not a newly discovered America, but rather an established old Europe, just as Barracuda offers well-known traditions but also a cuisine attentive to innovation. A wide selection of wines with a focus on local products and producers, while the meat is carefully selected from Spain, Poland, and elsewhere...but always with the owner's wisdom when it comes to local or regional produce. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a French brasserie with its Art Deco decor, and the service is meticulously crafted yet simple, making those who dine at Barracuda feel right at home. Sara's carbonara is a must-try.

12/10/2025: I stood stunned before this shop located in the renowned town of Marina di Cecina. During the table reservation process, the presence of pizza was emphasized, complete with the phrase: "You know that the kitchen doesn't just make pizza." Reassured, I then went to the restaurant, intending to feast on a delicious and long-awaited pizza. But my dream was dashed: despite the promises over the phone and its clear presence on the menu, pizza was inexplicably absent. Resigned, I then shifted my focus to a hamburger... which, however, proved to be no hamburger: Why the hell do you make focaccia and not pizza? It was all focaccia. Why do you make focaccia and not pizza?

14/12/2025: I've only been there once, but I loved everything about it: the place is cute, the service is friendly, and the pizza is excellent. I'll definitely be back.

27/11/2025: I went there two weeks ago with some friends, and I have to say I had a great time. The place is welcoming, the staff is both respectful and friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The pork shank with potatoes is truly excellent, and paired with locally brewed craft beers, each bite is a truly delicious experience. All the ingredients are, of course, local. Atlantic Oil is a great pub where you can enjoy a great beer or sample typical and non-traditional Casentino dishes. You can also take your favorite beer with you, freshly tapped. Highly recommended!

02/11/2025: I wasn't entirely satisfied with this medieval-style pizzeria. The first thing that bothered me was the music: heavy metal, totally out of place for a place like this. And when the music wasn't playing, radio commercials would come on. A serious restaurant, if it wants to create atmosphere, doesn't simply tune in to any radio station—and above all, it doesn't play commercials to customers who pay to enjoy a pleasant experience. The second thing I didn't like was the owners' attitude. Outside, there's a sign warning that separate receipts are not issued. I can understand that; in a city of students, it can be complicated. But finding the same phrase on the first page of the menu changes everything: from a simple request, it becomes a hostile attitude toward the customer. Browsing the menu, the situation gets worse: it's written in large letters that "additions and modifications to pizzas are charged from €1 to €3"—nothing wrong with that—but immediately afterward, the phrase "please keep extra requests to a minimum" appears, clearly making it clear that the customer isn't the focus. In fact, it almost seems like they're bothering you. It doesn't matter that the table service was courteous and the pizza was actually good: with a premise like that, you're already off on the wrong foot. And the heavy metal music, in a medieval-style restaurant, was truly the straw that broke the camel's back: either turn it off completely, or at least choose something consistent with the ambiance.

Perfectly cooked, intense flavors, and top-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to recommend the right cut. The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and ideal for both a dinner with friends and a special evening. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true grill experience in Vicenza! 🔥🥩

The service is attentive without ever being intrusive, starting with the sparkling wine and the welcome appetizer, which make you feel pampered. The food is truly delicious, with a varied grilled fish menu. Recommended, I'll definitely be back.

20/10/2025: The location is very nice, even if a bit remote. The food is excellent and plentiful, top-quality. The fixed menu is €35, including water and cover charge. Wine is not included. Numerous appetizers, three first courses, two second courses with sides, dessert, and complimentary myrtle liqueur. Typical Sardinian cuisine. The person who served us was very kind. They then drove us to our B&B because we didn't have a car. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: This small, elegant restaurant with an old-fashioned osteria atmosphere also offers outdoor seating for the warmer months. The dishes on the menu are of excellent quality, both in terms of the choice of ingredients and their preparation and presentation. The off-menu options and wine pairings are also interesting. The service is attentive and courteous. If you're a frequent visitor to Desenzano, it'll become a place you'll want to return to for a pleasant lunch break.

11/11/2025: Exceeded all expectations! The cuisine is elaborate, yet unpretentious. The highlight is the chef's skill in harmonizing the ingredients used, all of which are of evident quality and freshness. Kudos to the chef and the entire team, efficient and friendly. Considering the quality, the value for money is also excellent. We'll definitely return and recommend it.

02/11/2025: 🗓️Last ​​weekend in Basilicata, we had dinner at the "Sotto la Torre" restaurant in Satriano di Lucania. 🤵‍♂️The hospitality and skill of the staff, both in serving and explaining the dishes served—all expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and with balanced flavors—made it a pleasant discovery. I think it deserves greater recognition, not only from locals but also from tourists like us. And why not, in my opinion, it also deserves some recognition. 🏆 Here's what we were delighted with. Welcome aperitif: Peperone crusco with ricotta mousse and duck speck. Paired with: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene. And from their bread: Peperone crusco, Sesame white bread, Turmeric and Ferrandina olives, Cuttlefish ink. Cuttlefish egg in a crust of its ink on a potato mousse, stracciatella, Stigliano pistachio, and a dusting of beetroot. Dry-marinated salmon with: Zucchini with mint, passion fruit dressing. Accompanied by: Watermelon sgroppino. Podolica beef tartare with: tuna sauce, almonds, capers, and balsamic vinegar. Slow-cooked egg on a cheese fondue, savory crumble, truffle, and cardoncelli mushrooms from the Lucanian mountains. Saffron Carnaroli rice with: Red shrimp tartare, buffalo mozzarella sauce, raspberry caviar, and parsley powder. Double-cooked octopus on a roasted pepper sauce, purple potato mousse, and sweet and sour Tropea onion. All accompanied by Verbo Bianco, from the cellars of Venosa. 2024 Small pastries with: Melon sphere, Pineapple, Carrot mousse, Creamy ricotta and mango. And to finish, Cheesecake mousse with berries. 🧳 If you're near Satriano di Lucania, you can't miss it. 😋 You won't regret it. 🤩

25/11/2025: Discovered it by chance while visiting San Benedetto del Tronto with friends this evening. A very cute place, but more importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was truly excellent. The four of us spent €20 each on a truly delicious meal.
