Incredible combination of flavors

Excellent venue, where we were friendly guided through a surprising culinary experience. The combinations presented in the Chef's dishes were the result of research and innovations capable of satisfying everyone's palates. Union between tradition and modernity.

Rost makes you enjoy! Small place, slightly set up (right, come on, you can't always go to McDonalds in a sweat suit), with a menu that makes you want to try everything, to the detriment of the bank balance. 4 dishes 2 glasses easy €45 each if I remember correctly. I don't regret one. The dishes are all incredible and the less enjoyable options on paper are actually the pearls: the lettuce hearts made me fly... but also the tripe in their own way! But also the other dishes! A few negative notes in one of the best dinners of 2024 (I already know): 1 the wine proposal, without a menu and based on the advice of the wine guy (sommelier?). Since I know little about wine, how can I give you some guidance on my tastes? Maybe something written would help, a selection of yours with the various characteristics for example. For this reason the situation was a little confusing at the beginning but the quality of the service made me forget everything! 2 cover charge €3.50 and good bread + unlimited water for €7, not an offer. Maybe I didn't read the fine print. I'm an idiot. 3 On these winter evenings, give it a little spin with the heating or do a draft check.

Il locale si trova in via Melzo, zona che negli ultimi anni ha visto il prolificare di localini alla moda più o meno interessanti. No saprei come definire il locale in oggetto. Arredamento caldo e semplice, personale gentile e propenso a spiegare la filosofia della cucina, cosa non da poco. Tuttavia non credo di ritornare, in questo caso sicuramente non per demerito del locale. Vini naturali, anche no.

Si trova in Via Melzo, strada della movida di zona Porta Venezia. Locale intimo, pochi tavoli, si viene accolti con attenzione e seguiti da vicino per tutta la cena. Il menù è una sorta di percorso di degustazione di vari piatti e piattini, molti dei quali da condividere con i commensali. Ottimi i fichi, bene le acciughe, i funghi, i formaggi, molto bene il piatto di ceviche. Vini biologici. Ottimo il servizio, qualità e prezzi di fascia medio alta
