31/05/2025: Today I ate at this restaurant for the first time. I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo which was quite tasty and we were served it with a dip with extra parmesan. The quantity was satisfactory and the dish was quite tasty. We also got a bruschetta with tomato and olive oil, which was the bread they brought as a cover but toasted. In this case it was overcooked, something like a rusk, something that did not allow you to bite into it without it dissolving and the ingredients falling off it. Quite mediocre in taste and even worse in execution. However, the disappointment came from the pinsa that was served to us and I have uploaded the relevant photo, because the dough was completely raw. We went when they were opening and apparently the oven had not yet reached the appropriate temperatures and as a result the dough was not baked as it should have been. The thing is that this mistake could not have been missed by the pizza chef, who probably thought... tourists are a gift, let's not throw it away. The worst thing was that due to the time and day, the shops around were closed and I was forced to eat it. A polite service could have helped the situation but unfortunately the children were rather tired and did not even bother to respond to the thank you we said to them when they came to our table, to leave a plate or to take one. I have never made a negative review for a human error or for such delicious food because it is something that can happen and is respected. But rudeness and serving raw food clearly goes through your hands and for me it is not forgiven. The good thing is that Rome is full of good shops that value and respect themselves and consequently the customer... so arrivederci la grande bellezza!

24/05/2025: Visité este restaurante dos veces en una reciente visita a Roma, que estaba cerca de nuestro hotel, en Via Flavia, no lejos de la estación Termini. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, comida casual, bebidas, o la experiencia italiana completa. Nada fue un problema. Sentado fuera de la gente mirando sobre deliciosa pizza y una botella de rosado a un precio razonable. Puedo recomendar.

16/05/2025: We have just returned from a very pleasant evening in this restaurant, to celebrate our wedding anniversary: ​​excellent. I liked everything, I can't find anything to complain about. The village in which the restaurant is located is beautiful and characteristic; the garden and the internal rooms are delightfully enhanced in full Tuscan style, without excessive frills. I really appreciated the service, present and professional, but never intrusive or affected. Superlative food. Finally, the sponge hand towels were the icing on the cake. However, the treat that made me fall in love with this restaurant forever were the silver cutlery. Thanks to all the staff. We will definitely be back.

14/05/2025: Too presumptuous place: the service is poor, despite appearances! Bones in the duck ragù and fish scales in the dishes, bread not delivered, despite the clear request. A great shame, given the prices of the dishes.

15/05/2025: Wonderful place, truly suggestive. I went there for dinner and I have to say that I liked everything. From the kindness of the service, to the exquisite food, to the simple location but cared for in every detail with many prints by Musante (which I adore by the way!). I don't know what else to say because for me it was truly a perfect dinner. I would go back again and again! And obviously I highly recommend it to everyone!!!! Thanks to the girls in the dining room. Even though I accidentally broke a glass on the table and I was mortified and super embarrassed, they put me at ease by intervening immediately and joking with me. SPECIAL!

19/06/2025: The fish was definitely fresh: I had spectacular octopus tentacles, a real highlight. However, I was a little disappointed by the spaghetti with clams and the fritto misto, which didn't convince me entirely. The food isn't bad, no, but personally I don't think I'll go back a second time.

14/06/2025: Great combination of a chic venue in a rural setting, all well taken care of. Very professional staff. Good food, pity that the wine was warm, I think at least 25° for a red that should be served at 18°. The opening hours reported on the internet are wrong, they open at 19:30 and not at 19. However, an excellent restaurant.

09/06/2025: First time for me... too bad it's out of the area because it was a very nice evening, outside in the open air, in company, excellent service, very attentive and interesting food!

19/06/2025: Ate outside on the terrace with a wonderful view, view of the meadow, woods and mountains. Ate grilled meat and very good and right amount of salted meat. Cheap price. Very kind staff.

The owner stands out for his customer orientation: always present, attentive and available, he manages to make every guest feel welcomed and at ease. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes taken care of in detail and top quality ingredients. The selection of wines is refined and well thought out, perfect to accompany each course. The staff is highly professional, but at the same time cordial and friendly, helping to create a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. A place to return to, certain of being pampered at every visit.

Il proprietario si distingue per il suo orientamento al cliente: sempre presente, attento e disponibile, riesce a far sentire ogni ospite accolto e a proprio agio. La cucina è eccellente, con piatti curati nei dettagli e ingredienti di prima qualità. La selezione di vini è raffinata e ben pensata, perfetta per accompagnare ogni portata. Il personale è altamente professionale, ma allo stesso tempo cordiale e amichevole, contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera rilassata e conviviale. Un luogo dove tornare, certi di essere coccolati a ogni visita.

07/06/2025: I loved this area and restaurant so much I went back twice which is very unusual for me. The staff were amazing kind and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere and the food was incredible pizza, pastas, wine they’ve got it all. It made my few days in San Zeno perfect!

The delicious food, compliments to the kitchen and the chef! Everything perfect for a romantic evening.

21/06/2025: My girlfriend and I were looking for an excellent seafood restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and after a while we managed to stumble upon Il gabbiano I already knew this place for various reasons, since it was the place of my baptism and my parents' wedding, let's say that I wanted to return now as an adult and I must say that I left very satisfied Unique and special dishes, fresh and high quality fish, genuine ingredients, the more the merrier The prices are in line with the quality it offers and in fact for what I ordered I thought I would pay much more Furthermore, the restaurant also applied a final discount of €6 on the total, which is not something that everyone does HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The outdoor area, with its phenomenal view, features a variety of Mediterranean plants and various terraces, as well as a small pool with a few loungers, making it pleasant even on hot days. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious.
