We had lunch today for five, featuring a mixed antipasto of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by sauces. Pizzoccheri, bavette with blueberry, pear, and Taleggio cheese, gnocchi with butter and sage, tagliatelle with venison sauce, and a sliced steak with cherry tomatoes and arugula.
Everything was delicious and the portions generous.
The staff were kind and attentive.
Well done, you are restaurateurs with a capital R.

Today, the menu is the same for everyone.
The spaghetti was a little...warmed up.
Excellent price for a first course, second course, dessert, and coffee.
A complimentary digestive.

For those of us who are "old-school," this place is simply EXCELLENT: the food (ALL dishes), the service, the location (inside and outside), the accessibility (finally after extensive roadworks), but, above all, the unparalleled kindness and courtesy.
Small detail: every time they offer take-out pizzoccheri, which is truly worth it!

It doesn't get more authentic than this…
In the middle of nowhere, in a sort of chalet.
A family running the show (grandfather in the kitchen, daughter and granddaughter serving).
Everything is absolutely delicious and most of it homemade (including the bresaola and the complimentary after-dinner drinks).
A must!
