27/01/2025: The owner of this pizza restaurant is a smartass. Table of 10 people, a place used to having a maximum of 10 covers a day, decides that it is the good evening to "collect". He brings us the menus. We ask for pizza, he can't bring it to us, he says they're out of dough. We ask for the first courses, he can't bring them to us, he has already decided that we have to eat the meat. He says "he would have done it". He asks the guests who, upon his indication/imposition, have taken the meat, to convince the others to take the meat, in order to take something that is the same for everyone. We give up. He brings us this blessed meat, two cutting boards in the center of the table, combining chicory, potatoes, aubergines and brown pancakes as a side dish. Bill time: 45 euros per person. It wasn't even possible to know how much we paid for what. Everything as expected: mathematical rip-off, announced, sought and implemented in the slowest way possible, as if people were going to steal the money. I should have done it, I didn't do it just out of politeness towards those who took me there and the others who were at the table, but you who read this review, don't hesitate: run away! There are a lot of honest people out there who deserve to work. I answer: You, Mr. owner, denied the possibility of choosing from the menu, imposing what we had to eat and imposing a price that you yourself decided. Nobody sitting at that table wanted meat, I guarantee it. All the people sitting at the table felt embarrassed and unhappy, they felt robbed, with respect to his methods of operating and his conduct. Split? And even if I wanted to share, how did I divide, if he decided that we all had to take the meat? Yes, it's true. I have the photo of the order, my colleague sent it to me. I'm posting it so everyone can take note. 10 cut? And where were they? And the prices of desserts? He even charged for a herbal bitter that my other colleague said he didn't want. She took advantage of the education and quiet living of those who were sitting at the table with me to collect €450.00 for courses, imposed by her, which were worth less than half of it. I start with 8 witnesses (well yes, there were 9 of us but he made us pay for 10). Go to church. For those reading the review: be careful

04/01/2025: A truly excellent experience in every respect! The welcome is warm, the staff is extremely pleasant and attentive, and the service is impeccable. The food is extraordinary - I highly recommend trying the chicken, which was, without a doubt, the best I have ever eaten in my life. The quality-price ratio is excellent: we didn't even spend 20 euros per person, which makes this experience even more surprising. I can only highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back!

24/01/2025: Ho festeggiato in questo locale i miei 30 anni, eravamo 25 persone e siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti per la quantità e la qualità del cibo e soprattutto il servizio è stato eccellente. Consigliatissimo.

18/12/2024: Rustic environment as I like, if there are groups in the room, there is a bit of confusion. But it's good. The service is very professional. I ate well and the value for money seemed very interesting to me. I had a starter, first course, a glass of wine and coffee and spent €20. I'd love to go back to hear the seconds.

22/12/2024: The environment is comfortable, warm and intimate: perfect for spending a Sunday with the family immersed in tranquility. The owner is really very kind, as are the waiters, always available, qualified and smiling. The menu offers typical Piedmontese cuisine; the food is excellent: the quality reflects the price. I recommend the pumpkin gnocchi with Bra sausage and porcini mushrooms.

10/02/2025: Locale molto accogliente, servizio veloce, personale gentile e disponibile. Consiglio chiunque per una tranquilla serata tra amici. Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa su cui consigliare per fornire un ulteriore sevizio di qualità sarebbe la realizzazione di un comodo e ampio parcheggio privato.

Having come to PN for work, I wanted to try lunch and since it was Thursday I was lucky enough to find the "mixed boiled meat" dish, both the meat and the accompanying sauces were excellent. All seasoned with a more than sparkling service. Well done

21/01/2025: The food is decent but there is not a good relationship between quality and price, too expensive for what you eat but the thing that left us feeling a little was when the manager made us choose between 2 different wines telling us that they had the same price and instead we ended up with a good 25 euros more per bottle in the bill given that these were wines priced at 65 euros and up per bottle! If I have to say that I would go back overall, I wouldn't!

29/10/2024: 08/24/2024 Highly recommended! Excellent first courses and space-age fishburgers. In terms of price, it's not cheap but it's not overpriced either and above all it's worth it for the quality-quantity-price ratio: really excellent food.

17/10/2024: I went there this summer and it was an excellent experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the fish is very fresh, offered in super creative and tasty recipes, such as tuna tacos, my favorite dish of the evening. Also noteworthy burgers and first courses. Excellent value for money, I will definitely return! Well done

29/01/2025: Such an amazing experience, gourmet designed dishes and variety of carne, pollo, e pesche! Not to be missed if nearby, though not a view of Como, service is unmatched with kindness in English e Italiano. Chef prepared in house Dolce, food items are a work of art.

26/01/2025: 5 super stars to Giovanni, for his professionalism, delicacy and care not only in serving tables. I got up to go to the bathroom without realizing that a gentleman did the same immediately after seeing me. Mr. Giovanni, a waiter in the restaurant who noticed the suspicious behavior, had the delicacy to wait outside the services to ask me if I was okay. Nothing happened, that customer just had to go to the bathroom like me, but with everything we hear around I felt lucky. If there were more people like that, the world would be a better place. We ate and drank very well in a simple but well-kept place with impeccable service. It will be a pleasure to return if we pass through Varenna again
