28/06/2025: Everything here was truly excellent — from the impeccable service to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The risotto with beer reduction, coffee powder, and Grana was especially memorable, easily the best risotto we have ever tried. It was also a pleasure to meet Chef Manuel at the end of the meal, which made the experience even more special. We will definitely be back!

03/06/2025: A small and wonderful Certosa We celebrated the communion of our beloved granddaughter Fiorella in this splendid structure with an ancient charm, which is exactly what we were looking for and what struck us the most. The atmosphere is truly suggestive and welcoming. The staff was exceptional: the constant presence of the maître, the waiters and even the owners made the entire service impeccable and very attentive. We really felt looked after and pampered at every moment. The food? Simply delicious and special. You can clearly perceive the care in the choice of products, all of the highest quality and very refined. Thanks also to the beautiful sunny day, we were able to enjoy and appreciate the garden made available to us for the ceremony, all in the open air and in perfect harmony with the nature of the place. I highly recommend this structure to those who want an elegant but at the same time welcoming place, where every detail is taken care of with passion.

19/07/2025: We ate outside, under the fortress, a welcoming and relaxing place. The charcuterie board with homemade bread and piadina was truly delicious. The first course, with creamy parsley and garlic soup and burrata, was unusual, but the overall experience was truly light and delicious. The fried food board with seasonal vegetables was delicious and light. The strawberry, mint, and lemon sorbet was unusual but delicious. Reasonably priced. Vanessa

18/07/2025: After visiting the beautiful historic center of Santarcangelo di Romagna, I enjoyed a pleasant lunch at the outdoor tables, shaded by tall trees and with a refreshing breeze that would reawaken anyone's spirits. The service was exceptionally courteous, and I enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this place, as beyond the food, there's the hospitality and attention to detail that are, in my opinion, truly valuable.

16/07/2025: Lunch with friends, welcomed immediately in a shaded corner full of plants, very charming and cool. Perfect for these hot days. Very kind staff brought us a simple but tasty welcome dish. Excellent grilled octopus, spectacular tartare, and to finish, a fresh and delicate mango cheesecake. Generous dishes...cube rolls and tagliolini dishes that were truly hard to finish. Off-menu: spaghetti with lobster, which was enormous, much to the delight of the friend who ordered it. Prices were in line. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

12/08/2025: This restaurant is a journey through flavors. There's no à la carte menu, but a selection of daily specials to choose from. It starts with a series of appetizers that build in flavor and savoriness. Then comes the three first courses, from which you can choose one or have a taste of all three. The same goes for the second courses, which were truly delicious: you could choose between pork, veal, and lamb... all extraordinary. I can't comment on the desserts because we didn't order them, having been completely full. All washed down with an excellent Cesanese del Piglio. Highly recommended!!!

13/07/2025: If you happen to pass through Piglio, in the province of Frosinone, there's a place you absolutely must try: Pompeo's Osteria del Vicolo Fatato. It's a true gem, a small and welcoming place where the food is truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and a bit rustic...just like the osterias of old. What I was pleasantly surprised by is that there's no printed menu: Pompeo tells you in person what's delicious that day. Each dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and you can taste the love for traditional cuisine, with a creative touch...the food is exquisite, the portions are just right, and you can see the attention to every detail. The service is attentive but never intrusive, and Pompeo knows how to make you feel at home, always with a smile...the prices are fair, which doesn't hurt. My heartfelt advice: it's best to reserve, especially on weekends, because there aren't many seats and the place gets very busy.

01/07/2025: Osmiza Pipan is one of those rare successful combinations of rural tradition and modern comfort, between wine shacks and baptism locations. Located in the heart of the Carso, in that cultural frontier strip where Italy ends, Slovenia begins, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire seems to have never really gone away, this osmiza represents the “civilized” evolution of the concept. Forget the old improvised osmize with two barrels, three boards and zero tablecloths. Here there is space, a large parking lot (always full, but at least it is there!), real tables, surprise desserts and also the possibility of celebrating events from the parish calendar: birthdays, communions, company dinners and reunions of friends of prosecco and digestive age. The wine, of course, flows. Less rustic, more pleasant than that of the more spartan osmize, but still sincere enough to loosen tongues and encourage sociability. When the barrel is empty, the party fills up. This is how it works. The savory menu is classic but well-prepared: rustic but not heavy cold cuts, cheeses at the right temperature, perfect pickles and sausages in a carriage that act as a bridge between Balkan street food and Alpine comfort food. All laid out, with surprising elegance, on a generous bed of rocket (which immediately makes you say “sorry, I’m eating green”). But the real surprise? The desserts. Real, present, well-made. In an osmiza! It seems like a small karst miracle. The large lawn, almost mandatory for new-generation osmize, is perfect for freeing children at a safe acoustic distance. No obvious danger, just lots of green to run around, roll around, and - if you want - lose shoes. In short, Pipan Klarič is one of the best tamed osmize for those who come from the city but don’t want to give up folklore, rusticity and the pleasure of a good glass drunk in the shade of a pergola. And be careful: after this experience you seriously risk wanting to explore even the less sober versions scattered around. But at least start from here, where the Carso is rough, but with grace.

23/06/2025: Fantastic, refined and elegant venue. Located inside the Chateau Monfort hotel, a unique and suggestive restaurant. Trained staff, present but not intrusive, together with the Chef make your experience unforgettable. We tried the meat-based land tasting menu. Everything, from the amuse bouche to the main courses, impeccably prepared both in presentation and on the palate. Excellent pairing with wines, exceptional dessert. Appreciated the small pastries offered with coffee. Price in line with the location and expectations. A beautiful romantic dinner...

We spent a perfect evening not only for the excellent food but also for the extreme kindness of the staff! To top it all off, the unexpected and very welcome small pastry gift! Definitely worth the price.

13/08/2025: Excellent ice creams and unique flavors that reflect local produce: we tried an excellent hazelnut, sheep's ricotta (which tasted like sheep's milk), blueberry, lemon and basil (very fresh), and plum (the latter unique but tangy on the palate). The Gambero Rosso award was well deserved.
