La Vecia Cantena D'la Pre' In Predappio

I am from Romagna but have been transplanted to Veneto for 30 years, a return to my native lands and a lunch with my wife at Vecia Cantena D'La Pre'. We took simple dishes, dishes from my childhood. A bruschetta, excellent in everything, from the right "searing" of the bread to the mix of flavours, a tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, rough, generously seasoned, thick and cooked... like my mother's, I was moved. Finally, a tasting of cheeses, among which a 30-month pit-matured cheese stood out, and this is where they brought us piadina and piaVina, an evolution invented by chef Barbara, you can't tell the pairing with the cheeses, you can only taste it . All while drinking a Sangiovese... well, it was born as a cellar, granted it was up to par. Lastly, the price is very honest. P.S. A special thanks to the guys in the room, kind and smiling, a joy

Very characteristic place, excellent choice of both meat and fish depending on the day. Very courteous staff. Very good prices

Typical place, very polite staff, I had lunch with farfalle with courgettes, greenery, speck and sausage and for second fillet Wellington with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes I found everything really good, nothing to complain about....even though the distance is prohibitive for me, I will return

Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp. Der Chef, der recht gut deutsch spricht, bedient selbst. Es ist die Freundlichkeit in Person. Und das weitere Personal ist nicht weniger freundlich. Das Ambiente ist grandios und das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Preise sind voll ok. Reservieren ist empfehlenswert. Im Keller gibt es gegen eine geringe Eintrittsgebühr noch eine Ausstellung von wunderschönen Krippen.

A Predappio alta , di fronte alla piccola piazzetta , si trova questa trattoria con una cantina molto pittoresca e visitabile (noi abbiamo anche visto il presepe allestito per il periodo al suo interno) . Il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato sveglio e carinissimo , abbiamo provato due tagliate di controfiletto radicchio,grana ed aceto balsamico , die piadine rigorosamente fatte in casa (una di queste al vino Sangiovese indimenticabile) due terrine di patate,verza e porri gratinate al forno e due calici di sangiovese superiori concludendo con due caffè (il mio con un biscottino simil cantuccio davvero buonissimo per la sua genuinità) . Atmosfera che personalmente a noi ci ha portato con il cuore al sentore della vera Romagna ! Conto 65€ . Se ripasseremo, sarà nostro gran piacere ritornare a visitare questa famiglia !

E la seconda volta che vado in questo ristorante, ho portato degli amici, ci siamo trovati benissimo, locale pulito, servizio buono, cibo buono, sicuramente se passo da quelle parti mi fermo volentieri.
