07/11/2024: Best gelato and affogato I've had!! We tried the affogato with vanilla and also the stracciatella and pistachio gelatos. They have tons of other flavours. I wish they had gluten-free options and cones too. There are tables outside to sit and enjoy it in a serene atmosphere.

19/01/2025: Beautiful location overlooking Lake Garlate. Excellent food and very kind staff make this farm an excellent discovery found via Google! Definitely worth going back... local appetizers, fabulous creamed mushroom risotto, cheesy pizzoccheri, mixed grill with potatoes and venison and polenta that melts in your mouth as well as homemade desserts... what more can I say??!!! Spectacular. WELL DONE!!

10/02/2025: I spent a week with my family in this beautiful structure, right from the beginning we found a lot of professionalism in the reception with Miss Vittoria and a lot of attention to detail both in the rooms and in the wellness center. The only negative thing that ruined the atmosphere was the head waiter Heidi who treated us in a rude and unpleasant way, ruining the nice atmosphere that could be felt in the structure thanks to the other professional and helpful waiters such as Sandra and Maniula. I would like to tell the head waiter that we are proud to be Italian......

09/02/2025: I stayed in this hotel in February for an organized holiday with a group of friends, the hotel is very nice and well-kept, the rooms are large and comfortable, tastefully furnished, the restaurant's cuisine and the wellness center are good. The only sore point was the lady in charge of the restaurant, who was rude and uneducated towards all guests, especially children and especially Italians... especially for the jokes in German which she allowed herself to make immediately afterwards, thinking she wasn't understood. Really bad. The lady should learn to be more welcoming to all hotel guests if she wants to continue doing this job. Luckily the other waiters like Sandra and Manjula were polite and welcoming to us or I don't think I would have ended my stay there.

24/02/2025: We went there twice during our stay in Pisa. We received a very warm welcome and very good service. The restaurant is clean and we ate well! The prices remain very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through Pisa, it is close to the tourist attractions!

15/11/2024: I really feel like writing this review, on Saturday 9 November 2024 my husband and I were invited to a dinner, to be honest we had never crossed the threshold of the restaurant despite having heard nothing positive about it.....we enjoyed excellent homemade appetizers accompanied by a good wine 🍷 local, exceptional first courses, tasty and succulent second courses not to mention the ricotta cannoli so good.... I would say exceptional... Mrs Isabella very gallant and professional ....the girl who served at the table was kind, composed and present to our every need....I highly recommend going there to enjoy good genuine food....not at all weighed down after eating so much....we will be back 🍽️🍽️🍽️

06/01/2025: The experience was flawless from the start. While we waited they offered us smoked scamorzine wrapped in bacon, a touch of originality that made the welcome even warmer. The owner's passion clearly shines through: not only through the quality and care of the dishes, but also in the joy with which she welcomes each guest, making everyone feel at home, but with the service and professionalism of a high-level restaurant. We opted for a complete, rich and varied mixed starter, which included cured meats, cheeses and hot specialties such as cacio e pepe meatballs, chickpeas with truffle cream, Roman tripe, rustic pie with courgettes, tomato and lentil meatballs. Each course was prepared with quality ingredients and perfectly cooked All at a surprisingly honest price: truly unbeatable, especially considering the generosity of the portions. The kindness and friendliness of the staff, combined with the extraordinary quality of the food, made this experience a pleasant discovery during a walk in Frascati. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that combines tradition, taste and hospitality.

22/02/2025: Happened by chance while visiting the village, exquisite dinner and very welcoming host without reservation who kindly let me sit down, we ate platters with truffle products, croutons and a world-class polenta with cheeses. Worth trying

18/02/2025: Everything beautiful....everything excellent! Price appropriate to the environment (a little expensive!!!)..... but if you go to a particular place it is normal that you also expect an above average bill. The only flaw if you go with small children is excellent and very tender the cutlet......but no fizzy drinks (eg. Coca Cola) and no French fries which are known to be a food sought after by most 😅😅😅😅. Very kind staff and very suggestive medieval environment.

18/01/2025: I wanted to share our experience at the Convent Restaurant, where we returned after a less than perfect New Year's Eve evening (problems mainly related to the external organisation). I have to say I was really impressed by their invitation to return - a gesture that shows how much they care about their customers. The evening was simply perfect. The welcome of the owners and all the staff made us feel truly special and appreciated as guests. The place is something unique: they have done an incredible job in maintaining the historical soul of the convent, enhancing it instead of distorting it, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Then let's talk about the food: every dish they served us was better than the previous one! You could see the attention to every detail, from the plating to the taste, everything studied to perfection. But the thing that struck me the most was the passion that can be perceived in what they do - you can see that they love their work and this really makes the difference. What can I say, after this evening you have won nine loyal customers! Not only will we definitely return, but we can't wait to recommend this place to all our friends. A big applause to the management and all the staff: keep up the good work, you are doing an exceptional job! PS: If you are looking for a special place for an important evening, trust me: this is the right place!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

21/12/2024: Gorgeous place, very welcoming, friendly, very polite owner and waitress, but the food was a pleasure, an orgasm for the palate, compliments to the chef. You don't see the menu, we chose a souvenir. And I assure you that you will remember and look forward to returning there.
