It's a shame we can't give 6 stars, as both the lady in the dining room (her wife) and the chef (her husband) are truly exquisitely kind. After seating us, she brought us a blackboard to explain the dishes and their composition...very knowledgeable and prepared, demonstrating that she carries out her role with passion. The place was a real surprise because we never imagined we'd find such a charming restaurant with such attention to detail!! The soft tomino cheese served with onion jam and honey, offered as an entrée, pleasantly surprised us!! Their definition of an osteria is certainly reductive, but perhaps they're right: better a name that positively surprises you during the meal than something high-sounding that later leaves you disappointed 🙂. Finally, the bill: excellent value for money! Absolutely recommended.

Mrs. Paola is an excellent hostess. We had a great time, with excellent food and warm hospitality. The atmosphere is very welcoming, Provençal-style, and very well-maintained, exuding a love for her work.

So far, it's the best restaurant we've tried in the Viu area. It was a pleasant surprise! We shared a bottle of Arneis, which was quite good, along with 5 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course, dessert, coffee, and house liqueurs. It came to a total of €84, which is a good price considering the quality of the ingredients. They even let us sit wherever we wanted, outside, with a panoramic view! The tagliolini with porcini mushrooms were truly delicious, the fujot was a must-try, and the panna cotta without the gelatin was the icing on the cake! Our compliments.

I stumbled upon it by mistake this summer and immediately appreciated the view from the balcony table (as well as the cool air 😉). Then the food arrived, and I was truly pleasantly surprised. I returned in December with other guests, and my first impressions were confirmed. Everyone was happy with the quality of the food and the presentation, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like being in your own living room. The owners are kind and helpful, as well as well-trained in their profession. I had guests with digestive issues, and they were all truly happy with the after-dinner experience, as they digested everything perfectly. In short, the food is good, tasty, yet light. So if you want to spend some time in the cool air in the summer or in a mountain atmosphere in the winter, eat well, and receive a warm welcome, book a table. And thank me for the great advice! 😜

A charming and atmospheric place, with truly delicious traditional Piedmontese cuisine, splendid views from the windows, and impeccable service. Everything was fantastic, the bonèt was incredible!
