Small restaurant near the station in a small street. Very nice, nice and cheerful atmosphere. Good food and friendly service. Out of the chaos of many areas of Venice. Average prices. Go there!

I grabbed a bar table and ordered some snacks, it tasted delicious, try everything in the display cabinet, you will not be disappointed.

Probably the toughest reservation in Venice, just 4 tables and a few high tops for a €45 three-course prix fixe at Dinner, Osteria al Cicheto is a small Bacaro tucked away on Calle de la Misericordia just a few hundred meters from the train station. Known for a lengthy list of local Wines, many natural, guests at lunch will find Cichetti plus fried Snacks at the bar while those with reservations after dark can order the same in addition to a dozen or more Venetian classics. Friendly and tourist-friendly, though locals commonly fill the space from open to close, selections prove tough despite a well-culled list, and whether one chooses Appetizers fried or not the flavors are bold and well paired to White Wine with a bit of acidity. Local and Seasonal, though dishes such as Spaghetti with Clams and thicker Tubes beneath Duck Ragu are available most days, Frito Misto entails whatever is caught fresh in bountiful portions while Squid in their Ink shine adjacent grilled Polenta. Making all Desserts on site, an extra €6 for those with room, expect Tirsmisu and Cookies anytime but if asked for a recommendation all servers will suggest delicate Pear Pie that eats more like a Cake resting in two types of Custard.

Had a really good experience here! It’s my first restaurant in Venice. The place decorated so unique and cool. Different wine choices and several meals in the menu. The owner was really friendly and recommended me good meals! I loved the food here! Worth a try!

Lovely place. We came with no reservations and they accommodate us in the bar. Food is great and great value, wines are reasonably priced and tasty from local vendors. Ambience is warm and welcoming (also quite romantic if you’re looking for that) Overall very good!

Best place to fill your tummy in Venice😋 “Don’t ever missed the beef tartare and panna cotta”. There is a very memorable moment here. Me and my friend just walked in and we are ordering stuff, i was talking in my language with my friends “we used Thai” i was mentioning about i want to eat more Parma ham. Suddenly the owner heard the word parma ham. He walked to me and said you mean prosciutto? Then he walked to the bar beside and gave me some bites of it which gave me a big smile like in the photo🤣. After that i told him that can you slice me a plate of that and charge me for it. Hahaha

Abbiamo prenotato questa struttura leggendo le buone recensioni, appena entrati la ragazza non capiva che avevamo una prenotazione a pranzo ed ha effettuato una telefonata ricevendo l’assenso, ci ha fatto accomodare ed abbiamo ordinato dei cichetti questi buoni, ma sia gli spaghetti con delle vongole piene di sabbia che il baccalà non erano proprio all altezza delle aspettative come d’altronde i bigoli. Speriamo in una giornata negativa

Un petit restaurant dans une toute petite rue. Accueil très agréable de la petite serveuse. Un repas traditionnel et succulent, juste une tendance à mettre trop de sel dans les plats.
