The best restaurant experience my father and I had during our visit to Venice. Nice, authentic place with mostly local guests, charming service and great food. Keep in mind that it's quite popular, so you might want to reserve a table in advance.

Absolutely fantastic. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The spaghetti con vongole and the bigolini all’anatra were simply incredible, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The cicchetti were equally delicious and a wonderful way to experience authentic Venetian cuisine.
Combined with excellent wine, warm and attentive service, and a charming atmosphere, this was one of our favourite meals in Venice. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, Osteria al Cichetto offers an authentic Venetian dining experience with genuinely lovely people. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional local food. We will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went for lunch before catching a train. The restaurant vibe is nice and quite cute. The food was pretty good and I enjoyed experiencing the different ways fish are prepared in Venice. I was expecting the octopus appetizer to be an actual octopus leg not a baby octopus. And the squid ink pasta didn’t have much flavor which was disappointing.

We ate well, the place has few tables, so it's best to book. I accompanied and offered to some German friends, who, seeing the prices, skimped on their order. After paying the bill, they could have offered me a drink... oh well.

I spent Saturday lunch on the Feast of the Redeemer with four friends. The manager welcomed us with great warmth and a sense of humor. He treated us to excellent first courses, a variety of cicchetti, and a wonderful amaro. We also chatted with other guests near the bar who were from Florence. An experience worthy of an A+.

It is a quaint and wonderful little restaurant (best for 4 or less in your group).. The food is exquisite and reasonably priced. The menu is a little limited but what you get is delightful. It is the only place we went to more than once on our stay in Venice.

For us, it was the best place in Venice to enjoy good wine and quality tapas at a good price. The atmosphere is truly Venetian, and you feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The tapas and homemade food are of excellent quality!
The wine was the best we've had during our entire stay in this part of Italy. Highly recommended!
