Fantastic trattoria. Da Mauro, where memories, stories, and half-portions intertwine to create the magic of Teramo. It's always exciting to return.

Everything was very good, the portions were very generous and the prices were reasonable... really worth it. Excellent.

Three days ago we went to this trattoria for lunch. The fried cheese appetizer was very good, and the first courses were also good (anelle alla pecorara for me and chitarra alla teramana for my husband). Then we had the lemon veal scallops for the main course, and they were incredibly tough, almost inedible. How come you don't know how to make scallops? Too bad! The portions were more than generous; we always ordered half a portion of everything. Fair prices.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my graduation, and I couldn't have made a better choice. It was a truly wonderful experience, with delicious traditional food, made even more special by the welcoming, family atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful: they made us feel pampered and cared for at every step, with sincere, non-invasive attention. They treated us truly wonderfully, helping make this important day even more unforgettable. I couldn't have asked for anything better!! Highly recommended!

Very generous first courses. The chitarra pasta with meatballs was excellent, but the portion of about 250 grams was unjustified and wasted. The roast lamb was good, but the grill could honestly use a little cleaning, as the meat became dark and greasy. Good service.

We went here on Saturday the 28th for lunch, and the experience was exactly what we were looking for: substance and no frills. The Food: Home cooking in the noblest sense of the word. We tried first courses that tasted "homemade" and second courses cooked to perfection, without excessive seasoning but bursting with flavor. The Portions: The portions here are generous, almost old-fashioned. We left feeling full and satisfied, an increasingly rare thing these days. The Bill: The real surprise. Unbeatable value for money. It's one of those rare places where you eat well, and I'd even say very cheap compared to the current average. The Atmosphere: Informal and convivial atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, despite the restaurant being full. We'll definitely be back.

Very good for the price you pay

Second visit to Mauro's in Teramo. Found it by chance, but a return visit was a must. Short opening hours, busy. Reservations are necessary. The two of us were lucky and managed to snag a table. The menu is small. Definitely try the carbonara, the best I've ever had. Incredible portions for a great price. If I'm ever in the area, I'll eat here again and again and recommend it to everyone. Grazie!
