Spectacular restaurant!!! Fried cheese with chili pepper jam and amazing Teramo style guitar!!! Gigantic portions 250 gr. of pasta!! Super honest prices. Very nice and kind owner. We'll be back to try the carbonara. See you soon!!

Everything is very excellent. Starter of cured meats and cheeses with a bruschetta with parsley sauce made by them. For first I recommend the half portion carbonara tagliolini with mushrooms and many other choices. We had grilled meat and fried potatoes. We made tubs of the remaining dishes to take home. Excellent service. Highly recommended

Leaving Rome for a skiing week and looking for a restaurant in Teramo for a further trip out of town and finally succeeding!!! My dining experience at Da Mauro restaurant was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive staff made us feel at home also because fortunately without a reservation the owner of the place still managed to find a place for me and my partner!!! The menu offered a delicious range of dishes, all expertly crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a culinary delight and I can't wait to return to this fabulous place to explore more of their delicious creations of typical Abruzzo cuisine! Highly recommended!!!! P.S be careful, the portions are gigantic 😂

Place with a short but intense menu. Original bruschetta offered by the house, delicious fried cheese (and lots of it!), the one in oil is no different. Top pecorara pasta, super portions, we didn't get to the second courses 😁 Excellent service, fast and precise. Super recommended.

Recommended, let's go and try this restaurant. It looks like a real trattoria from times gone by, with photos on the walls and an exposed vaulted ceiling, typical of a restaurant in the historic centre. Starter and first course (sheep in xxl portion), water and wine. 15 euros per person. If I'm in Teramo again, I'll go back.

Ci sono tornato con degli amici dell’università per il consueto pranzo sotto le feste di Natale e devo dire che è rimasto tutto immutato: abbiamo preso 2 tagliatelle “Gran Sasso” e 2 chitarrine alla teramana, più un secondo di grigliata mista e per chiudere insalata e patatine con genziana finale. Come al solito, l’unità di misura di questo locale è mezza porzione che equivale ad una intera ed una intera che equivale ad una porzione e mezza, solo per stomaci veraci. Consigliato per chi non ha timore di magiare troppo! 😃

Qualunque recensione positiva è più che ampiamente confermata, e la cosa più ammirevole è che, a parte qualche ritocco nei prezzi negli ultimi anni, fondamentalmente la qualità, la quantità e il costo dei piatti sono rimasti pressoché invariati in positivo. È un punto di riferimento ormai da molto tempo e merita almeno una visita, tranne che non si cerchi pesce o pescato vario, cosa che è l'unica da non potersi reperire in questo locale. Per il resto tutto ottimo, iniziando dalla bruschetta sfiziosa offerta dalla casa, al formaggio fritto, servito anche con alcune salsine squisite, per passare ai primi, alcuni fatti in casa, tra cui da segnalare sicuramente gli anelli alla pecorara, con ricotta e melanzane. Altrettanto ottimi e abbondanti i secondi e i contorni, per esperienza diretta una cotoletta di tacchino eccezionale da ogni punto di vista. Dolci anche buoni, quasi tutto fatto in casa. Certamente consigliato e da consigliare, sperando continuino così, se non addirittura che migliorino (cosa non facile ma sempre possibile).
