15/02/2025: I went to this castle for a murder mystery dinner. Before dinner we took a short tour of the rooms on the first floor of the castle. The guide, a young girl, very cute in her manners and capable, accompanied us, telling us the history of the castle, its inhabitants and providing us with some interesting anecdotes. The tour, although short, was pleasant and the chandeliers are really pleasant. The murder mystery dinner was a great experience. The room was beautiful, the organization of the tables was well thought out, which allowed you to socialize easily with the other diners. The actors were nice and good and the story presented was interesting. The food was delicious, the wait staff was professional and polite.

15/02/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. Service The service was very good! The waiters proved to be attentive to clearing dishes, refreshments and wine. The setup was well looked after and the ritual photo at the entrance with the medieval car was a charming and nice idea, a nice memory of the evening. Extra services Some extra services, however, did not live up to expectations. For example, it was possible to purchase a personalized candle, which was not actually personalized: the name served only to identify the note, while the candle was small and of modest quality. Another extra was the cake, which however turned out to be the same dessert served to diners at the end of the meal, with the only difference in color and shape. An addition that is not very significant and not particularly advantageous. Dinner The fish was delicious, with sufficient portions and the possibility of repeating: very satisfying. I recommend opting for fish rather than meat, which was a bit poor. Environment The castle is very beautiful and well-kept, although the bathrooms could use some improvement. Our dinner took place in the "Le Torri" room, which, being very large, was partially closed with a temporary wall in a modern style, not very suitable for the historical context. It would have been preferable to keep the room open, to ensure more space and a more intimate atmosphere. For those looking for a more private experience, I recommend the private room for two, very refined and welcoming. We also got to visit the castle, which is definitely worth a visit. Finally, we took part in a survey with a draw at the end of the year: it would be interesting to know if the results will be published online so we can find out the winners!

14/01/2025: Mi spiace scrivere della mia esperienza deludente ma purtroppo nulla è andato bene. Il ristorante è bellissimo, cucina a vista arredo in grande stile, tavola senza tovagliato come ormai è solito nel locali alla moda. Fino a qui tutto bene Personale gentile, nulla da dire. Veniamo al cibo. 1 se opti per una cucina a vista devi poterla gestire. Non possono esserci dei bambini in cucina che si prendono da mangiare o si versano acqua, che vanno avanti e indietro lasciando zaini nel corridoio che porta ai bagni. E lo dico da mamma, per farvi capire che a me i bambini piacciono ma ci sono contesti in cui non vanno bene. La proprietaria che entra a metà pranzo con la busta della coop per portare qualcosa in cucina. Gente che entra ed esce...2 se hanno imposto le cuffiette per i capelli per cucinare, un motivo c'è e se non la si usa il rischio di trovare qualcosa di indesiderato nel piatto è alto. A noi è successo due volte nello stesso pranzo. Aprire la lasagna chiusa e trovare un capello, non è molto piacevole. Siete un bello staff e vale la pena migliorarsi perché il locale lo merita. I miei vogliono essere consigli, spero utili per raggiungere la qualità degna del locale

31/01/2025: Local bar with delicious local food. Inconspicuous but worth going in and eating. Delicious pasta, gnocchi and pinsa. Toasted sandwiches to take away. Nice service and cheap.

16/02/2025: Truly fantastic, in all its culinary variations. I have been there for business trips several times and I must say that it has never disappointed my expectations. The Zuppa Inglese is worthy of the culinary Oscars.

22/12/2024: Entriamo in questo locale molto angusto, dove la porta sta precisa al millimetro per aprirsi in una sala interna simil corridoio ma dando problemi allucinanti nel via vai tra chi entra e chi esce, costringendo la gente ad appiattirsi al muro per far passare gli altri. Vabbè, superato questo ostacolo chiediamo una Belga e un Blanche, e loro ci dicono con fare distaccato e poco accorto che non trattano questo genere di birra. Fatemi capire? Vendete solo ipa e acide? Ma che razza di birreria è una che "non tratta belga e blanche"? Ce ne siamo andati da un'altra parte dove, tra le varie scelte di birra, avevano OVVIAMENTE anche belga e blanche. Vergognosi.

For an infinite number of reasons: kindness, availability, quality, excellent quality of both the cuisine and the pizzeria, very quiet environment, speed of service... 09/12/2024: Per la prima volta siamo stati in questo meraviglioso locale per una cena in famiglia e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti! Partendo dall’ampio parcheggio antistante la struttura, ci si ritrova subito in un giardino ben curato che circonda il ristorante. Le luci soffuse che illuminano le pietre delle facciate creano una gradevole atmosfera. Entrando nel locale ci si ritrova in una grande sala elegante e raffinata, mentre una scala porta ad un’altra sala al piano superiore. La professionalità e la gentilezza del personale ci ha accompagnati durante tutta la cena. Abbiamo potuto gustare piatti estremamente curati e siamo rimasti catturati dai sapori di una cucina di altissima qualità. Ogni piatto, che ci è stato piacevolmente “raccontato” dal cordialissimo personale di sala, è stato un trionfo di delicati sapori! La Cantina dei vini è molto ben fornita ed anche i dolci sono a dir poco strepitosi…. insomma posso affermare che il Ristorante Sotto la Torre sia stata sicuramente una scelta eccellente per la nostra cena di famiglia!

09/02/2025: Il cibo proposto è di qualità perché l'ho digerito senza complicazioni notturne ma il piacere del palato è stato totalmente assente e in talune portate un'esperienza assai negativa. Gli antipasti come il vitello tonnato e la battuta di carne sono serviti su piatti freddi di frigo e questo ne rende molto sgradevole il sapore. Le "acciughe del mar Cantabrico" con bagnetto verde si sono rivelate degli straccetti di microacciughine affogate in olio e prezzemolo tritato. (Questo, Signori, non è corretto...non si scrive in menù un ingrediente per un altro). Risotto, filetto alle nocciole, brasato...tutto impiattato come si conviene nei migliori ristoranti di Langhe e Roero..ma il contenuto, aimé, corrisponde a cibo che ti aspetti in un "menù di lavoro"..nulla di più. Non c'è Carta dei vini, né tantomeno cultura dei vini. Sono venuta a provare questo ristorante attirata da quelle che, PER ME, sono risultate essere ingannevoli recensioni; pensavo di vivere un'esperienza piacevole di sapori, ma non è andata così. Nota,PER ME, più che negativa è rientrare a casa con abiti e corpo impregnati di puzzo di fritto e cucina. Consigliato a chi si accontenta di mangiare tanto, in un bel contesto e con impiattamento da ristorante di un certo livello. Sconsigliato a chi, come me, va a cena fuori per il piacere di assaporare.
