06/10/2024: Great butcher shop with a great selection of meat. We bought Dry-Aged Bone-in Ribeye after very good personal advice from Giuseppe. The steaks were excellent and the price was reasonable. Giuseppe also recommended us very good wine that went perfectly with the meat.

We all miss the Eighties a bit, 'La Campagnola' is a 'genuine revival' of that period, the memory of authentic, simple, true flavours, 'good times' that made us happy and contented! A dinner with friends from Lombardy who I meet every year at the end of August. The La Campagnola restaurant offers a fixed menu, starting with a huge platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by Torta al Testo, mixed fried food and delicious supplì, ending with a very tasty couscous. There are two first courses, but they are not tastings, two Flemish dishes filled with pasta, homemade meat ravioli with pesto and tagliatelle with sauce. For main courses, delicious meatballs with sauce, sliced ​​with potatoes, other meats (...), side dish, green salad; the dessert is almost always a Salami del Re with lemon, coffee, grappa and digestive, water and wine. Absolutely worth trying!!

21/12/2024: A few km from the Anagni exit, we stopped even if directed elsewhere. The environment is cared for in many details, it is warm and welcoming, very bright. Very friendly staff and helpful kitchen. The quality of the ingredients is very good, i.e the first courses were cooked correctly and tasty, the meat for the little girl was tender and cooked to perfection. The second course of mixed meat was fair in quantity and good in quality. Only the roast potatoes were a little burnt. The price was normal comparing the quantity, quality and service, which was right on time.

Sono stato in diverse occasioni ;in famiglia, in coppia e con amici, pranzo e cena. Sempre soddisfatto. Primi tradizionali e non con belle porzioni. Grigliata very very good...ed abbondante.

You eat really well, without unnecessary frills, with that care and warmth that make you feel at home. The wine list is also top-notch, with bottles from the best national wineries. You will also find organic wines. For the quality it offers, the price is more than fair. Honestly, it deserves a Michelin recognition. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

12/02/2025: Finally a different buffet than usual! No pre-cooked dishes or things thrown in at random: here we really cook, and you can feel it. The vegetables are excellently prepared, the pasta always al dente, the meat quality. In short, it feels like eating at home, but with more choice. And with **12 euros** you have a complete and satisfying lunch, which is practically a miracle these days. If you want something special, there is also the **à la carte menu**, with Roman pastas that are truly worth it. The carbonara? I'm not exaggerating if I say it's the best I've ever eaten in Rome. If you are in the area for lunch, try it: it will surprise you.
