05/10/2025: I only went for lunch. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The wine cellar was very well-stocked. The boiled meats trolley was definitely worth trying. It's certainly not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

09/09/2025: Truly amazing restaurant! The service, food, atmosphere - everything was above and beyond. We ended up going this restaurant twice during our short visit in Taranto. We saw people picking up fresh fish they want to eat and it was cooked freshly and your server bring it to the table, show how they clean the fish in front of you and serve the fillet. This was awesome experience. We tried many dishes, everything was on top-notch. The dessert lemon sorbet - it was perfect to clean up your mouth. Highly recommend this restaurant and don’t forget to make a reservation before you go.

06/09/2025: An experience definitely worth repeating. We had an aperitif with a breathtaking view, with exceptional wine. Afterwards, we stayed for dinner. I had a lemon, citron, and kefir risotto, and my boyfriend had Chianti fettuccine. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Not to mention the staff, all kind and friendly. I give it my all because it's definitely worth it.

18/10/2025: On Sunday, we decided to try this little restaurant thanks to word of mouth from friends. We tried their seasonal specialties, namely mushrooms... what can I say? We were completely satisfied. From the porcini mushroom soup to the homemade pasta, the main courses, and even the desserts, everything was delicious and healthy. The service matched the quality of the food. Excellent value for money.

16/10/2025: We stopped by chance. Despite the late hour for lunch, the place was packed, but they did their best to seat us right away. Very quick service, and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful in offering the best possible customer service. Delicious food. A totally positive experience.

09/10/2025: Big disappointment. At the restaurant, I waited 40 minutes for the appetizer, which was good, another half hour for the main course, which was far below what it should have been, and a good 20 minutes for dessert. The room had no hangers for trousers; it was especially absurd that the front desk didn't bother to provide one, saying they didn't have one. There was also an annoying noise coming from the electrical panel. A historic venue, but with some management issues. It's a shame.

19/09/2025: Sought out this restaurant specifically for their lunch menu, featured on their website and in restaurant window. Once we were seated I asked for the lunch menu and was told there’s no lunch menu anymore. I’m disappointed we were not told this before we sat down, as we would have chosen to eat elsewhere. Ended up spending 2x what we would have for their lunch and ultimately didn’t even get the dishes we went for (Tubetti “Benedetto Cavalieri”, salsa di pomodoro fresco).

The cozy atmosphere, precise gestures, and attentive service make every moment a living testament to their history and expertise passed down from generation to generation. The unexpected marriage of rabbit and eel, bold and luminous, transcends the boundaries of traditional cuisine: the finesse of the rabbit meets the salty depth of the eel, and each texture is a surprise, enhanced by a subtle dash of herb sauce that makes the flavors burst forth in the mouth. Then comes the pigeon prepared three ways, including the tender sous-vide breast, the roasted supreme, and the confit leg, offering a palette of refined and precise flavors; the perfect pairing with the fermented pear is simply remarkable. The venison, placed on Jerusalem artichokes, truly stands out as the centerpiece: an explosion of colors and aromas thanks to the beetroot, celery, and Jerusalem artichoke powders add complexity and elegance to the dish. The meat, seared to perfection, is enhanced by a black elderberry reduction and a powerful jus, offering an experience where earth and undergrowth intertwine with intensity. Coming to Pierre Alexis means accepting surprises, rediscovering what eating means. 04/09/2025: We discovered it by chance while walking past with friends, and it was a wonderful surprise! This restaurant serves typical Piedmontese cuisine. The dishes are very good and they have an excellent wine cellar. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Great for couples or friends.

We arrived by chance on a Monday after visiting the Sanctuary of Saint Rita in Cascia, and to our surprise, we found a place with plenty of seating (both inside and out). The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. A varied selection of delicious food, served in generous portions. And I recommend saving room for dessert, which isn't mass-produced but rather homemade. The panna cotta is simply amazing...

17/09/2025: A refined restaurant with a pleasant view of the lagoon. Attentive and helpful staff. Good appetizer selections, and the "Pinaccia" (a kind of seafood stew) with shellfish and mollusks is excellent. It has everything you could possibly want, dipped in an excellent sauce, served with crostini. One point less for the baked turbot, served with both potatoes and tomato, which created a somewhat watery base. Reasonably priced. Parking isn't always easy to find in the summer, especially on weekends.

11/09/2025: A beautiful location, excellent service, and delicious food. The tuna was the best we've ever had, but all the other dishes were also delicious, and the desserts are not to be missed. We'll definitely be back!
