Housed in one of the farmhouses of the Mauritian Order, just steps from the Stupinigi Hunting Lodge, this two-story restaurant offers a traditional Piedmontese menu (the veal with tuna sauce alone, or the agnolotti del plin al pannocchia are worth the trip). High-quality service, knowledgeable staff, and high prices, but it's worth it. Definitely worth a try!

If you want a unique experience, head to the Sabaudia Restaurant... Excellent table service: polite enough to make you feel at home, but with a waitstaff always attentive to your needs. Polite yet attentive service, you'll never feel overwhelmed by the waitstaff. In a word: EXCEPTIONAL. The dishes: an explosion of flavor, delicate yet substantial. It's clear that research and care are behind the use of raw materials, resulting in dishes that will make you regret not having discovered the Sabaudia Restaurant sooner! And this is coming from an Emilian...who lives where cooking is almost a religion... Thanks to a top-notch chef and his wonderful team. Location: stunning setting, Savoy atmosphere, you'll fall in love with every detail... Special mention...even for the cleanliness of the bathrooms; it seems obvious, but it's not! I had lunch at this excellent restaurant with my family. The atmosphere was very welcoming and charming. We ate in the very clean dining room. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable about all the excellent dishes they served. An unforgettable experience. Well done!!!

Don't let the exterior appearance set your expectations, this is a true hidden gem. The food was perfect, quality, taste and presentation. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The calamari was fresh and delicious.

A lovely discovery during a lunch break in the hunting lodge area. Right next to the magnificent Stupinigi hunting lodge is this very characteristic restaurant, a well-kept location with a beautiful wooden staircase leading to the upper floor. The menu is sophisticated and high-quality. While we waited, we were served a delicious brioche bun accompanied by dried vegetables. I had the raw beef, which was excellent, and the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, with Piedmontese burrata cream and 'nduja sauce, which was also very good. With our coffee, we were served some fantastic house gianduiotti. Highly recommended. I'll be back. And as promised, I returned for the slow-cooked egg with Parmesan fondue, the napkin-style plin, and a chocolate brownie with hazelnut ice cream. All very good. Two bottles of water, a bottle of Pinot Noir for €40, a Barolo chinato, and a coffee to finish. Total divided, €4.64.
