We dined at this restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere was elegant, the waiters were friendly and helpful, and the service impeccable. The food was all fresh fish, perfectly cooked. We left it up to the waiter to choose a mix of appetizers, which were delicious. For first courses, we split between paccheri with lobster and paccheri with shrimp, both excellent. For second courses, we chose a sea bream from the fresh fish on display, with potatoes and olives, and fried calamari...very light and golden. Dips in the center of the table. Sorbet. Mixed salad. Excellent Chardonnay, always chilled in the ice bucket, and the waiters were very kind in pouring it into our glasses. Coffee, etc. I consider the final bill to be reasonable and fair, considering I've had bad meals in many other places and paid a lot. The owner, Mr. Marco, is a kind young man who knows how to welcome and make his guests feel at ease. Unfortunately, I only took a few photos, but next time I'll add more. I highly recommend it and it will be our regular stop every time we return to Taranto.

A true seafood experience, not overdone with a modern twist, not overdone in its offerings, but rather simple, authentic traditional dishes.
The freshest, highest-quality ingredients mean there's little to add.
Notable offerings: the quintessential Taranto dish, the tubetti con le cozze (mussels) with a velvety sauce, the Taranto mussels with just the right au gratin, the fried and deboned cod... the perfect seafood risotto, the sublime paccheri with shrimp... the simple baked catch of the day, garnished with a few olives and its broth. The waiter, perhaps the owner, expertly portioned it out for us at the table, and the entire staff was discreet and professional.
Truly, congratulations! I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to bring friends!
