21/04/2025: The Bandiera sisters offered us a home-made and well-made culinary experience. The restaurant is long-standing. Well prepared dishes, average prices, pleasant service. A real disappointment for the mother who recently passed away due to a broken femur!

20/04/2025: In Ortigia the Bandiera sisters embody good local cuisine and hospitality. Among thousands of restaurants and tourist venues, if you want to eat local and savor true local cuisine, you will find what you are looking for in this small restaurant. On the advice of the owner of the B&B where we stayed we went to this restaurant. From the first moment we understood that we were in a family environment and not just another place for tourists. The menu offers traditional dishes with a good variety of options, even for vegetarians. All the dishes we consumed were expertly cooked, balanced and abundant (too much!). Dessert is a pleasure. The wine list does not disappoint with a good variety of local labels. The flag sisters embody local hospitality, they welcomed us, making us feel at ease and making us feel "at home". We spent two days in Ortigia and had dinner with the Bandiera sisters twice, who we thank for the beautiful memories.

03/05/2025: Very small place in an alleyway on the side of the wild boar fountain run by friendly and welcoming staff. The bread (focaccia as they call it here) was very good. The variety of toppings was excellent. I would say there is something for all tastes. Quality and fresh products. They also have wine on tap which I didn't really appreciate (I had a Chianti and my husband a Barberini... the latter slightly better than the former). Excellent price. The only advice I would give... set up two mini tables with sides at least to place the glass of wine on! Otherwise a good place!

11/05/2025: Everything wonderful. The food was delicious, with particular combinations that are perfect together; the bombettes were delicious, the fried polenta with sausage, dates and everything else was really special. The staff is kind and respectful, especially the owner, a golden person, very patient, funny and explained the dishes with a certain love and passion that made you imagine the flavor even before eating them. The owner was kind enough to even offer me dessert for taking my family there. After reading the reviews I really knew that this place is special, and they are not given as gifts, but deserved. We thank you, you are one of the best places we have ever eaten 🫶🏻🥇 :P 🩷

05/05/2025: Nice place with dark green walls and a wall with a light gray painted fence. Very nice side tables. I had a first course and a dessert. The waiters were very kind and attentive. The waiting time for ordering was quite short, as was that of serving the dishes. The first of the tagliolini with an excellent white ragù were very tasty. I completed the meal with a very good cake. I recommend the place, I enjoyed it.

18/04/2025: I visited this restaurant with my daughters while traveling from Rome to La Spezia. And it was a great experience, the food was excellent and great admiration for the owner, she managed everything herself. I will definitely stop here for a meal when I visit Tuscany again.

01/04/2025: Nel cuore del centro storico di Grosseto, il ristorante Grantosco è una vera perla di raffinatezza e qualità. L’atmosfera elegante e accogliente crea il contesto perfetto per un’esperienza gastronomica unica, dove ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La signora Camelia, con la sua passione e professionalità, delizia gli ospiti con creazioni culinarie straordinarie. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaporare un baccalà mantecato su vellutata di patate, una carbonara Grantosco dal sapore intenso e avvolgente, e una spigola dalla cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita, che ha conquistato il palato di (un Catanese) un amante del pesce come me. Il servizio è impeccabile, la carta dei vini ben selezionata e adatta a ogni portata. E per concludere in bellezza, il dolce Gran Forchetta è stato una vera sorpresa: un’esplosione di sapori che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile.

30/04/2025: We had dinner twice at this restaurant and the owners were super friendly, even though they don't speak Spanish, they try to talk to you, their treatment is super warm and they make you feel at home. Plus the food is delicious!!

29/05/2025: 피쉬카르파초, 트러플파스타, 송아지고기..?, 판나코타와 와인 로마에서의 마지막 저녁을 정말 맛있게 보냈어요 직원들도 친절하고 음식도 맛있고! 분위기도 너무좋았고 화장실도 깨끗하고 예약하고 가길 정말 잘한거같아요! 우리나라보다 간이 쎈건 감안하셔야할것같아요~ Buono!

29/05/2025: BEST SERVICE WE HAVE HAD IN THE TWO WEEK ITALY TRIP! We had an amazing evening at Cipasso, thanks in large part to Frederico. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable—especially when it came to wine. His service truly made our night one of the best we’ve had in Italy. The food was excellent, especially the beef tartare and truffle pasta, but it was Frederico’s hospitality that made the experience unforgettable.

05/05/2025: I was there for lunch, the workers' menu was truly exceptional, the quality/price ratio was excellent, the spit was excellent and the house wine was also good. 2 small flaws in theory the coffee was included but I paid for it and one of the 2 waitresses was a little abrupt

12/05/2025: Smaklös pizza. X4. Dessutom tog dom ut coperto, typ inträdesavgift vilket de ej informerade om på 3 euro / person. Vi blev besvikna på maten och inträdesavgifterna som tillkom på notan.

29/04/2025: Today, April 29th, 2025, I drank lungo and capucchino there, ate normal and wholemeal croissants, excellent! Sat under the blooming orange tree in front of the restaurant. Perfect!

15/04/2025: Un succo di frutta 4 euro mi sembra un po troppo metto 2 stelle solo per I cornetti e i pasticcini che sono l'unica cosa buona.

15/05/2025: Ho pranzato in famiglia in questa osteria, dato che ero di passaggio in zona. Ci siamo trovati molto bene perchè pur essendo un luogo informale è molto curato: tovaglioli di stoffa e arredi eleganti. Abbiamo pranzato con due primi, due secondi e dolci, tutto buono, fatto in casa. Per un pranzo di passaggio, di lavoro o affari consiglio vivamente questo posto. Gestori gentili e super rapidi

18/05/2025: We had dinner last night invited by friends and we were very impressed. The place is very well cared for both as a whole and in the details. Refined and welcoming atmosphere. We had an appetizer and a second course. Fried anchovies and lamb. Artichoke salad and fried fish. The raw materials were of quality and the dishes, although apparently simple, were enriched by refined reductions and flavors that married in a surprising and delicious way with the dishes. The portions were decidedly abundant, which is rare especially for those like us who come from Milan. Very good white wine, not banal. To finish, no dessert but a very fresh liqueur. Recommended experience. Excellent value for money.
