03/11/2025: Had a nice evening. Weather was good and I really enjoyed the pasta I ordered. The food is costly but since it tasted good - I didn’t mind the pricing. I would have given half a point extra - but the turn off was the desperation of the staff to try and get you to get the expensive product. As a restauranteur myself - I always tell my team to avoid this. Never try and sell an expensive dish. See what the customer wants and what they will enjoy the most. An upscale space like this should serve bread with they pasta so we can lap the sauce but no. The guy constantly was trying to sell the most expensive wine or bread - so if they didn’t do that - would have been more genuine. Otherwise food was very good.

02/11/2025: Delicious food and excellent service! We booked a table in advance since this place is very popular, and we felt well taken care of throughout the whole evening. I ordered the lobster pasta and it was amazing, though I wish there had been a bit more lobster considering the price. Overall, a great experience!

20/09/2025: Reading the reviews...definitely overrated. Nice atmosphere. Decent appetizers. The tagliolini with squid ink was good. The sirloin Wellington definitely needs a revisit, even though it's already been revisited. Replacing the crust on the sirloin Wellington with pancakes...absolutely not. Mushrooms weren't listed on the menu...for those with allergies or intolerances, it's not fair. The bread was taken away between the appetizer and the main course.

05/09/2025: This was my wife and I’s favorite meal of our trip to Italy, no questions. I think the only complaint we had was that we didn’t find them sooner. The food was incredible and the vibe that they create is one in a million. The owners make it feel like you’re sitting down to eat with family, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

14/09/2025: A bit expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. But ordering a main course for €20 and having a maximum of 60 grams of fillet is inappropriate. They can offer it as an appetizer, but not as a main course. They charge €7 for a glass of wine when a bottle costs €14. In short, I don't recommend it at all.

20/10/2025: Food, wine, service, simply great. Appetizers and main dishes were always a surprise. Wine advice was perfect. Dessert was the right conclusion. Please continue so!

17/10/2025: We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who had his wedding reception here. It's five minutes from Piazza Crimea, but it feels like you're already on the open hillside, in a very charming location with a terrace offering a beautiful view. The dinner featured some daring but very shareable choices. Unlike the others, I didn't order the tartare (with Ikura, by the way, an excellent pairing), but instead the egg(cat) parmesan/mushroom combo, which was out of this world, even though my coronary arteries took a hit. Next came pasta with duck ragù (good, but I would have preferred a drier pasta dish, but I clearly don't understand anything) and the lamb escalope, which was a masterpiece, served on a bed of some sort of baba ganoush, but much more liquid. I didn't have any room for dessert. From a winemaking perspective, a round of applause; the Barbaresco we ordered was PERFECT in every way.

21/09/2025: The pistachio ice cream is one of the best we've ever had. It has tons of pistachio pieces in it and tastes fantastic! The 20-cent extra is worth it. The waitresses are very friendly!

19/10/2025: Excellent, well-balanced flavor described my spaghetti with sardines, raisins, pine nuts, and breadcrumbs today! The service was friendly and kind. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

07/10/2025: Pietro and I celebrated our wedding at L'Agueta on September 6, 2025. We had a wonderful time; everything was wonderful! Franco and Feres were very kind before the wedding and impeccable during the celebrations, as were everyone else who worked on the evening. The location is beautiful and easy to get to. It has plenty of space for outdoor celebrations surrounded by greenery, but also enough space for indoor celebrations in case of bad weather. The aperitif was greatly appreciated by the guests, and the dinner was superb. I'm sure everyone will remember the spectacular Barolo stew. Feres's drinks during the aperitif and at the open bar were greatly appreciated and made the evening unforgettable. The staff were also excellent because they knew how to perfectly arrange all the items we had brought to the restaurant (like the welcome sign, the confetti table, the dedication book, etc.). Thank you so much! We can't wait to see you again :)

24/09/2025: Excellent food; professional and friendly staff; a unique and refined location. Welcome aperitif included. 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1/2 bottle of wine: about €90 A wonderful experience, worth repeating! 🥰

27/09/2025: Typical and welcoming place. Quick and friendly staff and service. Disappointing food. Sardine meatballs with a coarse and poorly mixed mixture, the sardines were not boned. Fried food was greasy and salty. Too bad.

25/08/2025: Look, this is a proper osteria. The kind where, when a friend from out of town asks me where to eat, I send him straight here. Here, they focus on substance, and what substance! The first courses are serious fare: some incredible pici cacio e pepe, creamy like you'll never find anywhere else. And as for the meat, there's little to complain about: tender and perfectly cooked. Caterina and Marco, the owners, are down-to-earth people who make you feel at home without too many frills. The place is small, welcoming, and on one of those streets that smells of history. There's always someone who nitpicks, but when Sienese themselves return and bring friends, there must be a reason. If you want to eat well, this is the place. Make a reservation, otherwise you'll be left out.

25/08/2025: Outstanding Osteria. Simple food properly prepared and full of flavor. Marco’s interpretation of Cacio i Pepe is unique but superb. Let Katerina choose your wines — she knows what she is doing. I ate there twice in 6 days and was very satisfied both times.

The dishes are prepared with passion and skill, and in terms of quality and quantity, they're very high! The pizzas and desserts are also exceptional!
