28/02/2026: I can't comment on the food or the service, as it was a very brief experience. As soon as we got in, the bartender told us she was about to close: it was 5:30 PM. There's no bar in the world that closes at this hour on a Saturday, especially if it's the only one at the station.

22/12/2025: It's heartbreaking to see what was probably the best restaurant in Udine 20 years ago. The menu is stripped down to the bare minimum, the beer stale, water leaking from the ceiling, and the place is in shambles.

05/09/2025: I'm leaving one star for the beautiful location of the place, adjacent to the church, with its outdoor terrace overlooking the main square.
One word to describe everything else: "stale." We were looking for "artisanal gelato" and found an expensive product (€2 a scoop to go), served in tiny portions, with messy flavors, and apparently poorly preserved. We tried several flavors, but none were noteworthy. The staff is foreign, and we found ourselves having to communicate with gestures. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, soap, and even hand towels. The place could use a good refresh and more care and attention to management and maintenance.

25/01/2026: Excellent sushi. Even though it was a Sunday and there were a lot of people, all the dishes arrived without too much of a wait. The waiter was very kind and friendly, and even gave us complimentary wet wipes.

They have ice cream, but no whipped cream for the hot chocolate. 😒😣
26/12/2025: The super-kind and helpful blonde waitress brought us glittery spritzes. It evokes a joyful Christmas atmosphere.

16/12/2025: We had an interminable wait for mineral water and a ginger ale. The chips arrived only at our request, and after another long wait. The mineral water, though still, was served already poured into a glass (mineral water or tap water?), and to top it all off, the waitress came by to clear the table, picking up the glass, which still had water, and removing it by sticking her fingers in it. When we went inside to pay for our drinks, we pointed this out to the owner, who didn't apologize, but simply replied, "I didn't see anything."
22/08/2025: A bar that doesn't serve people of color in 2025 is not only shameful but also criminally prosecutable. In Italy, a business owner cannot refuse service without a legitimate reason. Refusing service because of race or skin color constitutes discrimination, a behavior that undermines the enjoyment of equal rights and is unlawful and illegal, potentially resulting in criminal prosecution. And anyone who looks the other way is complicit...

25/11/2025: I'll leave the photos to give you an idea... dirty spoon, lipstick-stained saucer, and other things I have no idea what they were, not to mention the cup.
The cup was filthy, really filthy. I didn't have the courage to drink it, much less ask for another one.
I should point out that there weren't many people, no, just three tables all with coffee.
You can overlook it for a moment of inattention and not notice the dirty spoon, but here it's just not having washed things.
15/11/2025: I suggest the owner of the place to come by more often. The barmaids are quietly looking at their phones, which should be prohibited while working. The tables are dirty and the counter is the same. They don't even know the difference between sparkling water and soda water, quite rude.
