28/05/2024: Penso che come pasticceria sia molto buona, onestamente qui a San Daniele molti bar scrivono anche pasticceria, ma in verità hanno solo due pastine e una brioche, in questo caso ho trovato varietà e prezzi accessibili, sicuramente da ritornare

29/08/2024: Excellent saltimbocca and very good calamari fritti. We could have saved ourselves the Crema Catalana, but the espresso was perfect. Thanks to the restaurant staff for hosting us very well at the end of November.
28/08/2024: I've been to the restaurant before where it was under different names. At that time I was very disappointed, whether it was about the food or the service. Last Friday I thought I would give the new operators a chance and went out to eat there. Yes, what can I say: I was very surprised and more than satisfied. There is no comparison to the restaurant it was before. Whether it's the food, the service or the general well-being, it's just great there. Two years ago I wouldn't have recommended it, but now I have to. Next year I will visit Sonja and her team again.

11/08/2024: Pranzato con mia moglie sabato 10 agosto.
Presa una porzione di prosciutto di Sauris, mentre mia moglie prende il tris di primi. A seguire, io prendo il gulash con polenta mentre mia moglie sceglie il frico.
Tutto di nostro gradimento. Ottimo il gulash, dalla carne tenera e con un sugo ben ristretto.
Per dessert, una torta di mele con gelato.
Servizio veloce e cortese.
Conto giusto.
11/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante spinti dai consigli ricevuti e devo dire che sono stati consigli bene accetti, il posto è caratteristico della zona (forse un po retrò) accogliente con pochi tavoli ben distanziati, la cena è stata ottima e il conto assolutamente in linea con quello che abbiamo apprezzato.

31/03/2024: Humble environment, with a small pond in front, practically a single-room prefab, and outdoor tables. Externally it looks great (I think it's summer), paper placemat and off you go. Internally the cooking smell was very present, I don't know how it is in the cold months.
The grilled trout is really good.

02/03/2024: Ambiente intimo ed accogliente. Servizio cordiale e mai invadente. Ottima scelta di carni e vini. In particolare le carni, sublimi, servite sempre con un contorno generoso di verdure alla griglia. Assolutamente consigliato per chi cerca un "prodotto" di livello.
15/02/2024: Ottima selezione di carni ed ottimo servizio al tavolo. Forse aumenterei la selezione dei vini, magari con qualche proposta fuori regione.

We ate really well from grilled fish to pizza!
Having dessert at the end of the meal is a must😃, they are all homemade and deserve... delicious!
Kind and friendly staff, there's no shortage of smiles which mean a lot these days😊
The only flaw... the outside room lacks a bit of air circulation, a few shovels on the ceiling wouldn't hurt...
Overall I highly recommend, prices are average, 25/30 per person.
06/08/2024: I give three stars ⭐⭐⭐ for the price of the dishes served, including cover charge. Changed management (a myriad of times in twenty years), I was stunned by the quality/price ratio. Kindness, availability and courtesy were not lacking, but not suitable for the courses and their price. Euro 72 for two people is really excessive. Three slices of polenta (in a triangle) €4 🤦🏻♀️I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it due to the excessive price!

09/06/2024: The best ham in San Daniele!!! Highly recommended both for the quality of the ham (unlike many, they use ham from an artisanal ham factory) and for the friendliness and courtesy of the manager! Top! It's a real place, and absolutely not "commercial". To try!

We had a lovely evening with local sausage and ham specialties. The highlight was the homemade pasta with deer ragout. Very well cooked. Attentive service and good prices. Definitely a recommendation in town!
26/07/2024: We had lunch on Friday in 3 air-conditioned rooms, half full, ordered an excellent and plentiful platter of homemade pasta, delicious salmon, perfect, we paid the right price.

02/08/2024: We went to this tavern years ago and always had a good time. The food was excellent and the service very professional, warm and fast. We returned after two years and the management has changed. The place is always rustic but welcoming, simple cuisine but little choice. The service is unprofessional, slow and seems very improvised. The smiles that we remembered from years ago are missing.,....what a shame

17/02/2024: Cibo e prodotti della tradizione friulana. Fresco e delicato il carpaccio di manzo come antipasto, gustosa la tagliata di carne con patate e rucola. Discreta la torta al cioccolato finale. Sicuramente un posto in cui vale la pena tornare, anche a pranzo.

Pietanze preparate con prodotti genuini e deliziosi, vino ottimo.. adoro tutti i loro vini ma soprattutto il cabernet si è sposato in modo eccelso con i piatti che avevamo scelto. Il gestore Giorgio Zaglia, persona cordiale e affabile, ci ha accolti con calore facendoci sentire come a casa; il personale di sala, gentile, premuroso e sempre professionale, è stato pronto a prevenire e soddisfare ogni minima esigenza di tutti i nostri ospiti. Ottima atmosfera nella sala a noi riservata, grande ma al tempo stesso calda e accogliente, perfetta per accogliere anche grandi compagnie pur rimanendo in un clima intimo e familiare. Da tornarci, assolutamente.
P.s.: uscendo dalla sala grande del primo piano, guardatevi allo specchio posizionato davanti alla porta.. uscirete felicissimi anche se avrete fatto qualche strappo alla dieta.. provare per credere ;-)
