18/05/2025: Tuesday 13 May 3 the first option was the Capello restaurant but it was closed for the week so we opted for Anguillara. Not a lucky choice, we ordered a linguine allo scoglio which was only seafood in name, a mass of freshly drained linguine mixed with shellfish, very few, practically unwatchable, a Milanese chicken made without breadcrumbs only floured soaked in grapes and fried in a pan. However the salad was excellent, the service kind and efficient. A restaurant not for tourists.

15/05/2025: Martedi 13 maggio in 3 la prima opzione era il ristorante Capello ma era di chiusura settimanale quindi abbiamo optato per l Anguillara.non una scelta fortunata si ordino un linguine allo scoglio che di scoglio aveva solo il nome,una massa di linguine appena scolate mischiate con molluschi,pochissimi,praticamente inguardabile un pollo milanese fatto senza pane grattuggiato solamente infarinato bagnato nell uvo e fritto in padella. Comunque l insata era ottima, Il servizio gentile e efficace Un ristorante non per turisti.

02/05/2025: Accoglienza sublime,la signora Maura è in grado di farti sentire immediatamente a casa propria Riguardo a quanto degustato: tortellino al montasio sublimi,frittatata alle erbe senza rivali ,gulash eccezionale....porzioni a dir poco abbondanti Non potevamo chiedere di meglio,unico rimpianto non poterci tornare fino ad agosto Complimenti per la passione e gentilezza riservataci

13/03/2025: Known thanks to the karaoke with the super DJ Aldo..comfortable place, friendly and familiar staff, ample parking, wonderful outdoor garden..really worth it!!!..

20/01/2025: I've been here for lunch with friends and also for dinner with family, the friendly Chef Filippo surprised me with some excellent dishes, homemade pasta with seasonal and excellent quality products, grilled meat cooked on the fireplace, a simple but warm place welcoming, very interesting wine list in terms of quality and also at honest prices. The desserts are always homemade and all served by the Chef's attentive and expert mother. What can I say, an excellent discovery in the lower Friuli area, easy to reach with convenient parking, I'm waiting for the summer to also try dinner in the outdoor garden. Highly recommended for couples or families, you won't be disappointed. To return.

07/06/2025: Clean and tidy place, ice cream not good with presence of ice, I deduce that water is used in addition to milk.

31/05/2025: The premises are always tidy and clean. Wide assortment of ice creams and more. The staff is always courteous and kind.

16/06/2025: Exorbitant prices when compared to the quality of food served. I would have expected fresh ingredients for a €9 sandwich and instead, canned mushrooms and pre-cooked sausage. Highly not recommended.

16/06/2025: Nice atmosphere, unfortunately they played it badly with prices that did not match those displayed and what was paid. Sandwiches with a price and quality like a motorway restaurant... but significantly smaller. If you can, move on.

10/06/2025: Good service I didn't like the pizza, it's cooked from the top, raw from the bottom, the oven is probably not hot, the dough is too soft, you may like it or you may not like it, but the crust is raw inside, the tomato sauce is too sweet, the appearance of the pizza is nice but the taste isn't the best.

04/06/2025: Try the lunch buffet for only 15 euro including a primi, coffee and water. You have to complete finish your plates, but that is no problem!

04/06/2025: Fixed menu you choose a first course from those of the day, the second course and the side dishes are buffet style you can also take more than once

14/06/2025: In my opinion the best pizza in Udine, in a familiar and old-fashioned environment. I only recommend not to rush and while waiting enjoy an aperitif and have a chat, the pizza will not disappoint

06/04/2025: We waited 1 hour for the waiter to take our order. Then we waited another 45 for the meat to be served and when we already finished with it they served fries. We spent more than 2.5 hours there. It should be only a quick lunch between our bike shuttle ride. The meat was really good though. It was extremely expensive. I think they take advantage of foreigners expecting they will not return.

14/06/2025: Siamo andati in questo ristorante perchè molto rinomato La nostra esperienza non è stata delle migliori Il voto scarso è determinato dai piatti molto elaborati che nascondono il sapore della pietanza principale Se ordino lumache devo sentire il loro sapore che invece è nascosto dalle molteplici altre erbe e quant'altro Cosi pure altri piatti che abbiamo degustato La location è bella e ben tenuta Il servizio buono e professionale La scelta dei vini molto ampia Prezzo esagerato

28/02/2025: Ristorante tradizionale ed elegante. Personale vestito con abiti storici e interni ricchi di arredi e decorazioni di pregio. Deliziosa degustazione di formaggi friulani. A seguire buona costata cotta sulla brace. Discreta la millefoglie. Prezzi medio-alti.

26/05/2025: Unfriendly sales assistants who look at you with insufficiency and get annoyed even if you breathe. Sweets nothing special.

09/06/2025: The place has a retro and almost kitsch look in some ways...which may or may not please you, but it shows great attention from the kind and friendly owner and despite the slightly "excessive" decor everything is very clean (which is not to be taken for granted with so many furnishings!). We went for lunch for the workers' buffet (you can also order the tourist menu or à la carte, but not having tried it I can't say). We personally tried the baked pasta pasticciata (good and creamy), the cold fish salad (definitely bought but good quality), the nervetti salad (VERY GOOD), frico (acceptable, to try if you come from outside but the locals could be disappointed), meatballs in sauce (good), cold chicken salad and English roast beef (both good, not excellent but good), chicken wings (very good). There were also chicken cutlets, rice salad and something that looked like goulash but we didn't try it. To complete, a nice buffet of fresh salads and cooked vegetables. Cover, bread, bottled water, unlimited wine always all buffet (!!!) included, as well as coffee. Limited service (since it is a buffet) but smiling, courteous and attentive, the dirty dishes were taken away immediately and we had lunch with cloth tablecloths, which is not a given for €15 per person. Only flaw...from other reviews it seems that if you don't have the "look" of a worker the buffet costs €20 per person... However, with €30 for 2 we are super satisfied! Very large parking lot

19/05/2025: Very nice location for my taste. Good dishes, you can choose the a la carte menu or buffet and I liked it a lot! The friendly staff and the very nice owner.

05/06/2025: Mi sono recata qui tante volte, per cena o per aperitivo e non delude mai. Favoloso l'idea del cicchettin hour (buffet di cicchetti e bevanda a 20 euro a testa)... Assolutamente una tappa imperdibile a Udine per passare qualche piacevole ora tra delizie e buon vino. Tutti i ragazzi dal bancone alla sala sono sorridenti e gentili e rendono la visita ancora più gradevole
