14/09/2025: I stayed overnight here and ate in the restaurant. The room was nice, and I would stay there again. The restaurant is a different story. I had frico and a Uruguayan grilled steak here. Frico, a Frialian potato pancake, was made from bland mashed potatoes. The steak was tough and of poor quality, certainly not Uruguayan. Not one to repeat.

31/08/2025: I had lunch with my family. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a curse from the staff, I think the kitchen. We ordered shared appetizers at 12:30, which arrived almost immediately. For mains, we ordered a Florentine steak and a first course. Both arrived after a good hour. The Florentine steak was overcooked and tough, and the first course was cold. It's a shame, because ruining ingredients of this quality is a sin.

22/07/2025: Attracted by an event organized as "Paella and Sangria" we participated in four; the food was satisfactory but at the time of paying the surprise: the advertised price of 20 euros per person, sangria included, had become 25 euros, that is 25% more. A protest email with a request for compensation for the amount unduly paid had no response, neither reimbursement nor any form of justification. I would say two visits in one, the first and the last. I'm also wrong in trusting you and looking at the receipt afterwards, but on principle you guys were completely cheating on the cover charge. It's not about the money, but rather on principle, charging €2.20 for a 3-month-old baby carried in a baby carrier the whole time. When I called, even though I was 700km away, living elsewhere and no longer in Udine, Sara said to me, "And ma'am, have you eaten bread and breadsticks?" Now, can someone enlighten me, what kind of baby eats bread and breadsticks at 3 months old? Sara was very kind and told me that if I returned the cover charge, I'd get a refund, but since she's far away now, hallelujah. In summary, I don't really care about the €2.20, but on principle, you were truly unfair to do something like this.

05/08/2025: Gorgeous place, friendly and quick waiters, excellent value. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: Leaving aside the fact that it's a bar and the coffee and croissants are fine, you can't pay for cigarettes with a debit card although it has one but every time it says it doesn't work, the owner is grumpy, rather than a bar to friends I would call it a bar without desire.

The ambiance exudes authentic Italian flair, the pizzas are generously topped, and the flavors are a real highlight. The friendly and efficient service deserves special mention, making the visit even more enjoyable. The prices are also very reasonable. 11/10/2025: Finally, a place where I can eat vegan without worries in my hometown! The joy I felt looking at a menu full of vegan options is indescribable. Thank you so much! For my first time, I had the fake pulled pork sandwich and loved it. A good IPA on tap was a perfect accompaniment! A simple and welcoming place, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff who are eager to talk about their work and their choices. I can't wait to return.

10/10/2025: All in all, a true 5-star experience... far from the tourist crowds... Very friendly service. The location is truly quaint. No sea, no lagoon... right in the middle of town. The pizza oven is also great. It's a wood-fired oven, and the pizza revolves around the wood.

14/09/2025: Great find, lovely burger and fries. We only speak English but attempted Italian and the staff were super helpful to understand what we were after. Great atmosphere and covered seating.

04/10/2025: A simple and charming place to taste prosciutto. We asked for a tasting. The prosciutto is sliced ​​very thinly compared to the ones from central Italy. It was accompanied by tasty artichokes and cherry tomatoes, along with mozzarella from Campania and excellent bread. The owner honored us with a tour of the cellar where he keeps the prosciutto. Ask to taste a local liqueur as well.
