We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. We ordered seafood and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh fish, very well cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable and fully in line with the quality offered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Trieste.

An excellent experience just steps from Piazza Unità. Generous dishes, good quality, and courteous service. We ordered the large hot and cold antipasto (special mention for the creamed cod) and the large Malcanton fritto misto (a very generous dish, not suitable for those with a light appetite), all washed down with a nice Prosecco (Col de Mez). Prices were reasonable and clearly displayed.

It's reminiscent of a Venetian bacaro. The food is tasty and well-prepared. The interior is a bit cramped. Recommended if you're hungry, without having to spend a fortune.

We visited this centrally located restaurant in Trieste and loved it. We ordered pasta, tuna, and three delicious desserts. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it!

We discovered this place by chance, strolling just steps from Piazza Unità d'Italia, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. At Osteria al Malcanton, we ate truly deliciously, savoring both traditional Trieste dishes and a variety of other options, all excellently cooked.
The seafood was especially noteworthy: the fried sardines and calamari were perfect, dry and crispy, as was the mixed grill, truly excellent, fresh, and cooked to perfection.
An authentic place, where you can sense the passion and commitment. We will definitely return next time we're in Trieste. Many compliments, bravo!
