27/08/2025: Very tasty food, large portions, a wonderful view from the restaurant, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of greenery.
We ordered the grilled mixed meat and sliced horse meat with ricotta cheese and mushrooms, bread, fries, salad, and drinks.
A small downside: After arriving, we sat for 10-15 minutes without the waiter's attention.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant.
14/08/2025: In the evening, the place was very charming and the food was excellent. Gaia was fantastic; she helped us choose the dishes and she was so friendly! Well done!

09/04/2025: A feelgood, simple and quality bar in the centre. A must from now until the end of October is to enjoy a cocktail (try the Margarita!) outdoors sitting in the little square. The accompanying appetizers are excellent. Courteous, confidential and professional owner.

21/06/2025: Today, a spectacular trio, especially the ricotta, spinach, parmesan and roast sauce crepe. I also recommend the marinated beef carpaccio and pork skewers (very soft). Not to be outdone, the bjito (mojito made with honey) as a refreshing and tasty aperitif.
Every time I come back here, I always find the quality and taste up to par. Absolutely honest prices. Beautiful garden.
I highly recommend it.

I was there with a group... The place and location are very nice... but the food leaves a lot to be desired... A plate of gnocchi numbering 10... too bad, I would have gladly returned with some friends...

15/08/2025: We decided to go there after a quick visit to Trieste. Despite our delay of well over an hour due to unforeseen circumstances, they still welcomed us kindly and held our table. The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff very friendly, especially Christian, who took care of us, was very kind and polite! Service was prompt and attentive. I highly recommend it!

28/07/2025: Si tratta di una tipica trattoria di pesce con una cucina di qualità, un menù tradizionale, senza discutibili sperimentazioni e che non tradisce. Ampia selezione di antipasti da scegliere al banco. Ottimi i primi, i sardoni impanati, le seppie in umido. Valorizzati il pesce azzurro e il pesce povero. Personale giovane e gentile, molto piacevoli i tavolini fuori. Apprezzabile anche la malvasia sfusa. più che corretti i prezzi
19/07/2025: Siamo stati al ristorante Salvagente per pranzo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Gli antipasti sono davvero eccellenti, cucina tradizionale e con ingredienti freschissimi. Ogni piatto è un mix ben bilanciato di sapori, che grazie alla freschezza degli ingredienti, sorprende senza mai esagerare. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, l’atmosfera rilassata ma curata. Un posto dove torneremo sicuramente! Consigliato per chi ama iniziare la giornata con il piede giusto.

19/08/2025: The view is 10 points out of 10. The service is very kind and the food is of good quality. Parking is a bit tricky, only few places in the yard, the rest remains on the narrow street. Absolutely recommended.

21/07/2025: How can I put it, honestly not wow. First of all, don't book online; the establishment doesn't look at requests, only by phone. You'll never receive a booking confirmation. Right on time. Cold and tense welcome, dogs are not welcome. As for the food, nothing extraordinary, just sauerkraut, low-end, bad oxtail. Not worth the detour. A slip of the tongue, a bad experience of the stay.
19/07/2025: A very pleasant and special place to share Trieste food. Just a few blocks from the main square. Highly recommended.

21/08/2025: Highly recommended! We had the mushroom appetizer, Porcina (very tasty), and for dessert, Carsolina (delicious). Not to mention the beer: very good and fragrant. What more can I say? I'd go back tomorrow if we didn't have to go home! PS: Honest bill.
