26/03/2025: Great sandwiches, great beer, ok staff, easy parking. Advised

25/03/2025: The sandwiches are big and good but the beer prices are out of this world. 8 euros for a 0.4cl beer (all of them except the special one...the special one costs 9). In short, the price of Piazza di Spagna while you're on a bench in the outskirts of Trieste. Recommended for teetotallers!

06/03/2025: Lunches: about 10 euro per dish. Cheap alternative: sandwich at 4 euro. Nice place!

05/03/2025: The menu is partly fixed and partly changes every day. So far all the dishes I've tried were excellent, this time I tried the breaded sardines and I enjoyed every last one of them, compliments to the chefs! The waiters are fast and precise, even when there are a lot of people they don't make you wait long.

05/10/2024: place is definitely inviting, but the cremino was totally disappointing. i asked cremino and the seller, which definitely has a nice smile, served me a nocciola. i of course said "but thats not cremino", she got a bottle of topping brown color and made couple of lines on top of nocciola. speachless. if i could, i d give minus 5. a real artesanal cremino icecream is a good mix of nocciola and cioccolato gianduia.

22/11/2024: Without a doubt, the best butchers' shop in the neighborhood and why not, in Trieste as well. Apart from the fact that the service is great, the quality of the products is unsurpassable in terms of quality. The store has a large variety of products of many types, not only meats, sauces, pastas, cheeses, Italian prepared foods and as well from Trieste, jams, sweet creams, very fair prices for quality and a great value for money. Oh! and very important, they have long opening hours, and therefore, it is very comfortable and easier to make shopping. Wide assortment of regional wines, cured meats and cheeses. The meatballs are delicious, the smoked bacon of great quality and the radicchio sandwich, the perfect snack ;-) A year later, I definitely reiterate my words and also add a photo of the sublime, addictive dried sausage. There is no better snack in town!

29/03/2025: Bakery, pastry shop very popular with Trieste residents on weekends where you can taste typical Trieste pastry desserts famous for the Carsoli a cream pastry. Excellent coffee and wide choice of bread.

09/01/2025: I came across this place by chance for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant offers a daily menu that varies daily, offering four first courses, four second courses, various salads and homemade desserts. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. In just a few minutes they served us the spätzle carbonara and saffron risotto with sausage, both excellent and plentiful. There is no cover charge and a generous basket of bread is served. The place is not very large but I recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy a quick but delicious lunch break at honest prices.

14/04/2025: The restaurant is central and is located near the Ponterosso square. The environment is very small but welcoming. There aren't many seats but they are comfortable. The coffee is excellent and the staff very kind and friendly. It does not have its own parking area.
