21/03/2026: For me, Wasabi Sushi is the best Japanese restaurant in Trieste. The quality of the food is superior to any other I've tried in the city: the fish is always fresh, the dishes are carefully crafted, and every course reflects attention and respect for the ingredients. Beyond the quality of the service, the excellent delivery service also makes it perfect for enjoying fresh, well-prepared sushi at home, without compromising the experience. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and orderly—a place where you feel at ease and can truly enjoy every dish. Wasabi Sushi clearly stands out from the others: not only for the food, but for the overall attention to detail throughout the experience. For me, it remains the absolute benchmark for Japanese cuisine in Trieste.

02/11/2025: It's a fast food restaurant serving Balkan products in the center of Trieste. The quality is top-notch and the ingredients are delicious. The prices are a bit higher than average, but considering it's in the center of a "rich" city, that's understandable.

13/12/2025: This place is perfect for work, the atmosphere is cozy, the music not too loud, and the coffee really good. However, there’s this one waitress that is always kind of rude, doesn’t even look at you, walks away in the middle of your sentence, says no ‘good evening’ or ‘thank you’ and generally makes me feel like I should apologize for coming in and ordering a cup of coffee. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think waiters owe us special treatment, and they get to have a bad day too, but this woman is ALWAYS like this. The masochist in me keeps coming back waiting for some proof that she’s a human being. MUG, please talk to your staff and see why they’re so unhappy.

05/12/2025: I've been going to this butcher shop for two years now. The staff is incredibly friendly, and when I order by phone to pick up later, everything is prepared to perfection. The meat is incredibly fresh and top-quality. The knife-cut tartare gets 5 stars, and the sandwiches are super-stuffed and delicious. Really good! Keep it up.

01/03/2026: I'm lactose intolerant, and despite having clearly stated this, they messed up my order. Such a lack of attention and irresponsibility towards customer needs is unacceptable. Such a mistake isn't just a simple oversight, but a complete lack of professionalism.

The food is excellent (the coga is too much!!)... I always stop in whenever I can, and I'm very happy to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it, of course!!!

30/11/2025: The staff were truly excellent, kind, friendly, and fast. The pizza was truly excellent, in every way: cooking, ingredients, and especially digestibility. The recommended beers were uncommon but top-notch. A well-deserved 5-star recommendation. We called 15 minutes before arrival for two, found a seat without a wait (and there were plenty of customers anyway), and our order was taken very quickly. We waited just the right amount of time given the number of customers present, and there was no rush after dinner. Thank you, and see you next time 👌🏼

01/03/2026: Great experience at this restaurant listed by the Michelin guide in 2025. It's important to make a reservation and indicate any dietary restrictions. The place is surprisingly large; from the outside, it doesn't look like it has as many rooms and tables as it does. Everything is very organized and unpretentious. The menu has excellent choices, worthy of a well-rated restaurant. Start with the shrimp and chicken donut (great!) and for the main course, go for the lamb with wine sauce. Excellent wine list. Good soundtrack. The point of attention is the service: the sommelier was very friendly and efficient, but the waiters left a little to be desired when it came to dessert and the bill (maybe it's the extra mile for the star). Cost-benefit ratio is in line with the good experience. It's well worth a visit.

The dishes are beautiful and delicious, and the sommelier always pairs them with excellent wines. The menu changes frequently and is always a guarantee. Excellent value for money considering the selection of ingredients offered. It's always a pleasure to return here.

09/03/2026: A true hidden gem in Trieste! Rosticceria Eureka is one of those places that makes you feel right at home. Here you'll find authentic Italian home cooking, made with care and high-quality ingredients. The lasagna is simply out of this world: rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The homemade gnocchi are also fantastic: soft, delicate, and bursting with flavor. Besides the extraordinary food, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the passion they put into what they do. If you're in Trieste and are looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine made with love, this place is absolutely not to be missed. Highly recommended!
