Dardo Rosso In Trieste

I don't recommend dining here because the food is very good. Be careful not to order the thief as an appetizer because I have to eat it all myself, otherwise I won't be able to eat it when I come here!! 😁 The tartare is absolutely delicious. If you like frozen fries, then this isn't the place for you; they only serve real potatoes. What can I say? The fillet steak is delicious in its various versions. The atmosphere is very familiar and relaxed; this place is a truly positive discovery.

The restaurant has a courtyard/garden that is absolutely beautiful. The food is prepared with great care and passion; it’s incredibly delicious and anything but run-of-the-mill. The service is attentive and warm. We would definitely return to this restaurant in a heartbeat. Note: Even if it looks from the outside as though the restaurant is closed, go right in. You can’t see the charming courtyard/garden from the outside.

Small but well-kept, with a kids' corner with various games and very helpful and friendly staff. The menu is a bit unusual because it doesn't include first courses, so you have to be a meat lover. The crostini with Patanegra lard are excellent.
