20/07/2025: An all-around successful evening at this restaurant. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent location. We left nothing to be desired. We'd be happy to come back.

12/07/2025: A while back, we stopped at this establishment for a late afternoon drink. Arriving around 7:00 PM 🕖, we sat down at a free table outside, exchanging a nod with a waiter 🧑🏻. He quickly came over to take our order, a glass of still red wine 🍷 (I'd chosen Canernet Franc) and a prosecco. After a while ⌛ (I'd say at least twenty minutes), we were brought two still white wines (I have no idea which variety) accompanied by olives and croutons. Needless to say, we were a bit perplexed 😳, so to speak; however, we made do with them anyway, enjoying the conversation and the atmosphere of the place (it's a pedestrian area lined with several trendy bars). Prices are perhaps a little higher than average (€5 💶 per glass). The bathrooms are generally clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. Regarding the amenities, I'd like to point out the ultra-modern faucet/spray 🚿 over the sink with a built-in dryer 🌬 (I think it's Dyson), which allows you to dry your hands 🤲🏻 without having to move them (the mechanism is activated by a photocell). It could be a good solution for a quiet aperitif. 08/08/2025: Nice place, excellent service, and very helpful staff. The dishes are traditional and tasty, but the portions aren't always satisfying (out of four dishes ordered, two were very small). The quality/price ratio is fair.

12/06/2025: A wonderful place in the middle of a beautiful landscape of peace and nature. I went twice, in summer and winter... I would stay all year round. The service is top-notch, and the food is delicious. Thank you.

06/05/2025: The Neider hotel is located in Sauris di Sopra in a central position for numerous trekking routes immersed in Alpine nature and enjoying spectacular landscapes. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast, varied and plentiful, is agreed with the customer to avoid waste. The structure is managed by four young Argentine boys; always kind and helpful they made us feel at home. Upon request for dinner, you can enjoy an authentic asado.

14/08/2025: We only had lunch at the restaurant, which was incredibly generous portions, delicious food, and reasonably priced. If we ever return to this area, it's a must-visit.

12/08/2025: We were there this weekend as cycle tourists and had a wonderful time!!!!! The place was extremely clean, tidy, and perfectly equipped for cyclists. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling. There were large spaces and a perfect garden for children. I've never had such a good time. I'll recommend it to all my friends who are in the area. IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS. I FORGOT... WE ATE EXCELLENTLY AT THE RESTAURANT. MORE THAN EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.

28/07/2025: Geweldig eten met een bij vlagen absurde bediening. De zaak is groot en koken op houtgestookt hout is domant aanwezig. Er is echt vuur en er hangt een aangename geur die een ambachtelijk gevoel opwekt. Eten is van heel goede kwaliteit en zorgvuldig bereid. Bediening is goed bedoeld maar past de zaak niet. Voorbeelden zijn het weigeren om eerst alleen de voorgerechten op te nemen. Het is alles op niets. Ongevraagd een halve fles wijn van tafel halen. Na het aanspreken van de ober werd de fles overigens door dezelfde ober snel leeggeschonken over slechte twee glazen en het tafel kleed. Borden werden ook ongevraagd weggehaald. Alles overigens met de beste bedoelingen. Voor, hoofd en nagerechten zijn allemaal even smaakvol en gemaakt met top ingrediënten. Kortom een aanrader als service niet belangrijk is maar sfeer en kwaliteit van eten worden gewaardeerd.

21/07/2025: Richtig gutes Essen!! Selten ein so gutes Steak bekommen!! Auf jedenfall eine absolute Empfehlung!!! Preis/Leistung nicht zu topen!

27/07/2025: Ordered 2 large pizzas for takeout, delivered one on top of the other. The bottom one was completely burned. The edge and bottom were burned. Even the vegetable topping was burned. But I say, if you see that you've burned it, make another one, it can happen. You don't deliver it anyway. Pizza worth over 20 euros thrown away. Ban!!

23/07/2025: We ate a very delicious oven-baked pizza. It's cozy. It has a nice interior and a spacious garden.

05/08/2025: A great experience at this small trattoria near the waterfront. Simple, old-fashioned management, but always attentive and meticulous. The first courses are excellent, including the gnocchetti with shrimp and truffle and the spaghetti alla busera. Worth a stop.

27/05/2025: Piacevole scoperta per un pranzo di mezzogiorno in una bella Trattoria Friulana. A prezzo fisso abbiamo degustata il Prosciutto di San Daniele e le Fettuccine sempre al San Daniele, piatti abbondanti e succulenti. Ampio parcheggio a lato della provinciale. Personale attento, cordiale e veloce.

19/07/2025: Come spesso siamo soliti, quando restiamo più giorni nella nostra casa qui a Bagnoregio, ieri sera siamo andati a cena al Ristorante “C’era una volta l’Hostaria”. Avevo, come sempre, mandato un messaggio a Lorena Paolucci per prenotare, dato che è sempre meglio visto che non era raro trovare tutto pieno. Lorena mi aveva risposto, con la solita cortesia, che dal 20 giugno erano “andate in pensione”: un modo simpatico per farmi sapere che avevano lasciato l’attività. Allo stesso tempo mi aveva girato il contatto di Magdalena, la nuova proprietaria, confermandomi sia della presenza di Renata Gentili, persona indispensabile per la gestione della sala, oltre che della qualità della nuova ristorazione. Devo dire che, sul momento, ero rimasto perplesso, proprio perché in questi anni Lorena & C. sono state impeccabili sotto tutti i punti di vista, ma la presenza di Renata e la presentazione fatta mi ha convinto a provare. Ed abbiamo fatto benissimo. Il cambio di proprietà ha indubbiamente portato ad una interpretazione dei piatti diversa, ma la qualità dei prodotti, la preparazione di Ica, chef e mamma di Magdalena, e la professionalità di Renata ci hanno piacevolmente colpiti. Abbiamo cenato in modo impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista, anche se non ci è sfuggita la contenuta presenza di clienti: e la cosa, sinceramente, mi è molto dispiaciuta. Credo che chi frequentava assiduamente il locale nella precedente gestione non debba farsi ingannare dalla titubanza di alcuni e provare direttamente, dando l’opportunità ad una giovane proprietaria di dimostrare le proprie capacità. Conosco abbastanza Bagnoregio, ma confido che il modo oramai “antiquato” di ragionare possa lasciare il posto ad una visione un tantino più “moderna”: cosa che, d’altronde, è stata negli anni recenti, foriera di notevoli miglioramenti sotto tanti punti di vista.

19/06/2025: Amazing! We were on the bike path and were looking for somewhere to spend the night. We stayed at the Albergo Martina and received a very friendly welcome. We were able to store our bikes in the garage. They even cooked for our guests in the evening, and it was excellent! The breakfast was sensational!! We felt very comfortable and will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much!!
