19/07/2025: A true gem in Trieste! There were four of us and we had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us with great courtesy and reserved a table for us on a small, intimate and charming terrace—perfect for a quiet, meticulously prepared dinner. He recommended dishes and wines with passion, expertise, and a deep culinary knowledge. Each dish was carefully described, detailing the ingredients, their provenance, and pairings, transforming the dinner into a true gastronomic journey. Everything was presented with great care and respect for tradition, but also with a touch of creativity. A special thanks to Federico, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening with professionalism and discretion: young, kind, always smiling, never intrusive. Excellent food, impeccable service, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Prices were appropriate for the quality of the food, the expertise of the staff, and the attention we received. Absolutely a well-deserved 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

30/07/2025: Excellent pizza, among the best I've ever tasted. The pizza dough is very easy to digest. Service is fast, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. The only downside is that there's no parking outside, so you have to park on the street.

26/07/2025: Very nice pizzeria, very kind staff, they welcomed my two dogs without any problem, delicious pizza, as well as the beers!!! The only downside is the lack of parking. But that's all solved once you enter the place 😁☺️

01/08/2025: We passed by Prosecco and immediately noticed the place, deciding to try it without hesitation. The outdoor setting was very cool, simple, and popular. The service was friendly and helpful; they seated us right away even though we hadn't booked. We were won over by the menu: a short menu, mostly local dishes and cuisine. Good value. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

04/08/2025: A typical country inn, even though it's in the city, an oasis of tranquility. Traditional and creative dishes. The creative and exquisite first courses. The Milanese cutlet is enormous, tender, and delicious. The dessert is mouth-watering. The brothers are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

03/08/2025: A family-run restaurant on the southern outskirts of Udine. Nestled in a beautiful garden. The quality-price ratio has deteriorated compared to the past.

29/07/2025: With great calm and politeness, we entered the restaurant to inquire about the dinner, particularly whether the presence of a vegan would create difficulties for the kitchen. The person at the counter, clearly tired, replied, "The menu's back there, look." While I understand the frustration and exhaustion that often comes with this type of work (I've worked in the restaurant business for a long time, and for this very reason I ask restaurants in advance for information so they can eventually arrange a vegetarian menu), this blunt and disinterested reaction hurt me. We showed courtesy and politeness, but unfortunately, we didn't receive the same kind of treatment. The opportunity was missed because my husband (who doesn't follow a vegetarian diet) would have gladly sampled the local dishes, and, sadly, for the restaurant, which lost two customers.

13/07/2025: A classic trattoria of yesteryear, with a casual and pleasant atmosphere. RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED, even on weekdays. Traditional dishes from Friuli and Gorizia, excellent wines. We had Frico with polenta and San Daniele ham with burrata. The prices are more like a trattoria, not a fancy restaurant, with mini portions at exorbitant prices. It's a shame we only had dinner one night.

07/08/2025: Quando entro in un ristorante mi aspetto in minimo di accoglienza non frettolosa, ma questo può essere superato dalla qualità dei prodotti più che buona anche se con 3 € di coperto mi sarei aspettato tovaglioli di stoffa, ma il tema è un altro. Al momento dell'ordine mi e stato consegnato il menù e abbiamo fatto le nostre scelte. Nei minuti successivi la signora proponeva ai tavoli circostanti, nei fuori menù anche i carpacci di branzino e i crudi almeno il primo lo avrei gradito. Al momento del conto ho fatto presente alla signora la questione che si è giustificata con la distrazione del momento, affermando che avrebbe recuperato la prossima volta che mi sarei li recato. L'opportunità l'ha avuta non ci sarà una prossima volta. Però mi viene un pensiero non vorrei che i fuori menù fossero solo per i clienti abituali!!! Un vecchio politico diceva che a pensare male si fa peccato però spesso ci si azzecca.

05/08/2025: Modus procedendi, a partire da accoglienza, atenzione, e cura onestamente delusi sia per la nonchalance sia per l'insieme del posto. La raccolta delle scelte e la modalità di convenire con il cliente sono da osteria non da locale delicato. Il prezzo poi dei piatti è assolutamente sproporziionato rispetto alla qualità. Ci siamo sentiti derubati.

18/06/2025: Many restaurants in Trieste have a strange habit (from a non-Italian perspective) of working short hours in the morning, taking a long break during the day, and working evenings. In other words, at approximately 3 PM you don't have many options and you go to whichever restaurant is open. That is the main reason we chose this restaurant. The pizza we ate was okay, but nothing to write home about (the crust was almost tasteless, and the toppings weren't made from the best ingredients, especially the mozzarella cheese). The service was okay but nothing fancy, and the overall experience was: "it was okay, but..."

15/08/2025: Barbara is an exceptional waitress, with a remarkable talent for customer service: she's smiling, kind, attentive, and even open to the friendly requests of customers who ask her to take their photo. She makes sure you feel comfortable, asking if "everything's okay." In any case, the other waitresses are also kind and professional. During the welcome phone call, I spoke with Elisabetta, whose tone was polite and inviting, resilient: willing to "meet the needs of a new customer who shows up at the last minute"... spaghetti with clams, perfect recipe!... tiramisu was good, but better without the whipped cream. Thanks to all the staff, the waiters, the cooks, the "many Giulias" who are truly unique, and a special thanks goes to Domenico: unique and unrepeatable! ...and... we have "the magician"! 15/08/2025: Simple and well-kept place, manager and staff are courteous, helpful and attentive to the needs of the customers. Here you eat very well and at a fair price. I recommend the fish-based dishes... excellent and well-kept (exceptional mixed fry... never eaten so good) The pizza is also good. Excellent restaurant to spend a quiet lunch or dinner with friends, family or relatives. I recommend you try this place.

27/07/2025: Service was horrible, waiter walked away while we ordered, multiple times. Got wrong drinks after asking 3 times. Food was not good and way way way too spicy and oily. Not what we are used to in italia. Do not reccomend the place.

15/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the Movida Triestina area, an informal, welcoming and well-kept atmosphere. The staff is attentive and fast and always brings a smile with them. The menu is varied, meat and fish as well as classic Triestine dishes. Cooked ham and horseradish and glera must never be missing from the table. Pets are allowed and I must say that they are very pampered with pieces of ham. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommended.
