Pasticceria Caffé Pirona In Trieste

One of the historic venues in Trieste, where you can fully breathe the Central European atmosphere. Small, but very nice with some tables outside. The coffee is of absolute excellence. Excellent classic desserts with plenty of room for imagination.... The service was accurate. Prices are high, but in line with other places of the same level.

Sacher very good and the girl at the counter really kind; single portion "Sole" ricotta, lemon and salted caramel, particular and tasty.

The main advice is to go to this magnificent historic café when it opens or in any case early in the morning. The two girls who welcomed us were professional and always with a smile, despite the increasing amount of work during the morning. A lovely place, very small, but which offers amazing desserts and drinks. Highly recommended, on a par with the other best coffees in Trieste

Extremely high quality pastry shop well located in a fairly central area. I love everything they have, but I have to say that the lemon and salted caramel (SUN) cake is spectacular. I've been there several times and the staff is super professional and energetic despite having to cover inside and outside the venue. Among other things, they advise you very well!!!! Special mention also to the presentation of the desserts. A total success and excellent value for money. The TATIN pastry and the pistachio pastry are also TOP. Also appreciated the decor and the fact that they have kept the place as it once was, aesthetically it is beautiful.

A stylish cafe where you can breathe history and the atmosphere for which my great-grandmother used to go to Trieste across part of Europe. Quality products that belong to the city and nice staff. I recommend a visit if you want to experience what our Grandfathers did in Trieste. I thank the owner and his descendants who were delighted here.
