I couldn't leave without leaving a note for the chef thanking me for the best meal of my life and crying a little with emotion over such a delicious experience. I went with my best friend and her husband, and we spent €45 per person on primo, secondo drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and dessert.

Unfortunately, after a 40-minute wait, a polite reminder, and with only eight people in front of us, they didn't even bother to bring cutlery to the table. One star for the service, but they deserved zero. Keep that in mind when you go to lunch here.

15/09/2025: A lovely, typical Sicilian restaurant in the center of Cividale? Of course! We had lunch in the shade of a wonderful pergola in the restaurant's courtyard. The relaxing and soothing atmosphere alone makes Trattoria Dominissini worth a visit even just for an aperitif, but we went much further... The appetizer was delicious Sicilian arancini, followed by spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, cherry tomatoes, and bottarga. The main course was mouth-watering grilled octopus, all accompanied by a Grillo Siciliano wine. And how could we pass up cannoli for dessert?

14/09/2025: This Sicilian restaurant, nestled in a quiet and picturesque street in Cividale, exudes a romantic, Mediterranean atmosphere. It's lovely to eat both outside, under the vine-covered pergola, and inside. The food is good and the service is quick. The wine selection is extensive. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Last time we ordered grilled swordfish steak, sliced ​​red tuna with chopped pistachios, and the inevitable mixed antipasto to start. Every time I pass through Cividale, I stop at Dominissini. I highly recommend it.

03/10/2025: Delicious homemade products for takeout. They have everything from yogurt to aged cheeses; the ricotta is sublime. Very crowded on Sunday lunchtime, but well-organized.

14/09/2025: Traditional dishes with authentic flavors. The herb-filled Cjarsons, frico, and goulash are excellent. The desserts are also delicious, including strudel and fried forest fruit tart. Highly recommended.
