08/04/2025: We visited La Cambusa with 2 people. 2 x each around 7 p.m. It was no problem getting a table. We each chose a multi-course menu with a Friuolano as a wine accompaniment. This means we each have around €60 per person. on the invoice. However, the dishes were always well prepared and tasted excellent. The service was also rated as very good.

13/04/2025: I was with colleagues for dinner. Lovely location, clean and welcoming. Varied menu ranging from typical food of the area, up to fish. Amazing mushroom risotto, spectacular mushroom tagliatelle with truffles. Tagliata cooked to perfection, it melted in your mouth. Delicious desserts. Recommendation for wine lovers. Excellent quality of the products. I highly recommend I will return. Well done everyone especially to the owner who recommended the wine and food.

12/03/2025: Wonderful experience. Today my husband and I together with our dog went to this tavern for lunch. Excellent welcome, delicious food and very nice staff. Typical, warm and familiar place. It will definitely be a fixed stop for us. Anyone who wants to eat typical Friulian cuisine well must absolutely come here. Super!!!

06/04/2025: I'm sorry but I was very disappointed, and I'm not a picky person, but I can eat well; relying on the reviews I booked for Sunday lunch. The menu had 5-6 starters, as many second courses, side dishes and 3 first courses, of which: 1 was prepared only for 4 people or more, the spaghetti with clams had run out of clams, we were told that we couldn't make the mixed seafood ones because they took 45 minutes and made us wait too long (it was 1.30pm); okay, of course the starters and main courses remain. We order stewed cuttlefish and cappelunga (grilled), when they arrive the lady tells me there's a bit of chilli. Now, I won't dwell and conclude, the cuttlefish remained half on the plate with their polenta, the sauce and 1 of the 3 half potatoes, after the "little chilli pepper" (since when do you put it with the cuttlefish, was it perhaps to cover the total absence of flavour?!?) invaded my palate. The other person's hats had sand and were watered with lemon. The measly portions, for the list price: €20 for 10 cappelongas, badly cooked and served alone, NOT good, €20 for 4 spoons of cuttlefish, 5 of sauce, 1 rectangle of polenta and 3 half potatoes... I don't know the reason, the lady was alone serving 16 people, perhaps a problem with the staff or in the kitchen. The bill was deducted a little I suppose to make up for it, and that's fine. But the disappointment once was enough, I'm sorry, I've never left a place so dissatisfied (and hungry) before.

17/03/2025: Very nice place and the lady who welcomes us and serves the tables is really kind!!! The cuisine is excellent, we had an all-fish dinner from the starter, first course and second course and everything was superb, the menu is not fixed but designed based on the catch so everything is fresh and of high quality!!

03/04/2025: I stayed here with a colleague of mine and we generally had a good time. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and well-stocked. The only flaw are the rooms which definitely need maintenance. For example, my room had part of the wall with the plaster raised, I believe due to humidity, and the toilet seat with a broken attachment.

17/03/2025: I had the opportunity to stay several times for work and I really enjoyed it. Cozy rooms, good breakfast and excellent hospitality. I'm almost sorry not to go anymore but if I ever return to Udine, it will definitely be my point of reference

10/04/2025: BAD! Poor service, unappetising food, waiting and then two dishes in a row. If there was one thing that could have worked in this dinner, it wasn't there! €30 starter with various types of molluscs, all dried and with the same flavour, very dry anchovies, and so on. Octopus that seemed warmed up from lunch. Sweet nothing to report, neither positive nor negative. I will definitely never go back there again!

08/04/2025: I was here today for lunch with a friend, the owner is super friendly and helpful. The intimate and welcoming atmosphere is an excellent accompaniment to dishes served in a short time but no less carefully prepared. We tried the burratina with prawn tartare, the spaghetti with prawns and the pork cheek and were struck above all by the tenderness of the very tasty meat. Also note the attention to detail in the decorations of the room, original and elegant. We will definitely be back.

16/04/2025: Good pizzas, dough tending to crispy with a low crust, interesting flavor combination proposals. The place is also a restaurant, we haven't tried the dishes yet but the smell of the fried calamari is remarkable.

28/02/2025: For me it was a great discovery. Carnival Friday night and a quiet place, not too chaotic. As a new mother I really appreciate the presence of the changing table and hot water in the bathroom. We ate the jota, meatballs with roast sauce and roast pork cheek, accompanied by baked potatoes and spinach, decomposed millefeuille and panna cotta with strawberries. All really good. It is certainly one of the places we will gladly return to.
