28/07/2024: I had lunch here today with a friend of mine and we had a great time... I personally had a four seasons pizza, two beers and a coffee and it was all excellent... The Quattro Stagioni pizza was one of the best I have eaten in the province of Trieste (and beyond), with an excellent dough, exceptional cooked ham, very very good artichokes, tasty olives (without the bone)... also regarding the beer It's been years since I drank such a good one, and in particular this Sans Souci, I hadn't drank it since meeting up on Saturday evenings with my high school friends in a pizzeria in Trieste and it was an excellent rediscovery (congratulations for the choice ) and the coffee was also very very good... I then find that it is intelligent (as well as beautiful) to create a canopy of vegetation which in summer (with this heat) helps to cool down... As we know, the Pizzeria Restaurant also includes the adjacent farm with animals, which we visited at the end of lunch (geese, rabbits, donkeys, horses with which we became familiar...) The staff is friendly and finally the prices are average for the area... At the end I complimented the lady to whom I paid, rightly saying that it was one of my best lunches in recent years. Thank you all, we will be back.

23/07/2024: We ate well, the paccheri with fish ragù was the best dish, the appetizers and mixed fried food were still good. One thing we didn't really like is the verbally dictated menu (difficult to remember before ordering) which doesn't include prices, even if all in all the bill was reasonable. It is a place mainly for families.

12/08/2024: It's not the first time I've dined here. I can say that the dishes are excellent with fresh and well-prepared fish. The bill is adequate for expectations and the quality of food and service. Maybe the The menu is a little too traditional and lacks a touch of imagination. But These are details of a place that is nevertheless a guarantee.

03/08/2024: Excellent EXPERIENCE! If you're looking for a place where you feel like home, this is your destination. Pleasant and friendly staff which is more than happy to cater to your wishes and help you choose the right dish and accomodating drink for your palate. Excellent seafood with daily fresh ingredients and locally caught fish. We'll definifely be returning.

09/08/2024: Qualità del vino abbastanza buona, consiglierei di essere un pò più generosi con gli stuzzichini...due tartine per coppia sono davvero misere di cui una vegetariana con formaggio di qualità non eccezionale .

07/07/2024: Wir orderten nicht nach der Karte, sondern überließen den Chef die Auswahl des Fischmenues. Eine wahre Gaumenfreude, verschiedene Antipasti, Primi, Secondi und Dolce waren die Folge. Prosecco, herrlicher Hauswein und Grappa begleitete das Mittagsmenue. Ein fairer Preis und sehr freundliche Bedienung rundeten sehr gute Bild ab. Waren sicher nicht das letzte mal in der Taverna Cigui !

22/05/2024: Tanto che non ci capitava un pasto così delizioso a base di pesce...La giornata purtroppo era piovosa e abbiamo quindi mangiato all'interno, che comunque è molto "caldo" e accogliente...all'esterno la quiete e il paesaggio verdeggiante erano comunque molto apprezzabili, immaginiamo cosa possa essere poter cenare all'aperto in una bella serata di fine primavera o estiva! Tornando al pranzo, abbiamo degustato tanti piatti diversi, tutti direttamente proposti dal proprietario e dalla sua gentilissima collaboratrice: la "filosofia" che guida il menù proposto è quella dei prodotti freschi del giorno, che sono via via la base dell'ispirazione culinaria. Grande soddisfazione del palato ma con estrema digeribilità complessiva, nonostante la ricchezza e varietà di ...assaggi! Prezzo perfettamente in linea con la qualità di cibo e bevande. Da provare! Noi senz'altro torneremo appena possibile, puntando questa volta a una serata all'aperto.

11/08/2024: Beautiful music, good high quality food, impeccable service and an excellent cellar... we drank a Trento Doc as an aperitif and dined with an excellent Vermentino suggested to the dining expert. High quality and great atmosphere We will be back!! WE ARE BACK..... and everything was confirmed, indeed by dining outdoors and discovering an interesting terrace we got to know this place better which we had only frequented once. Creative dishes, I personally liked the tuna tartare with onion ice cream. Citrus lard which makes a notoriously fatty food a delicate combination of flavor and balance. The rest of the menu is very inviting and leads us to return. All members of the staff are well-prepared, kind and friendly.... all in a serene atmosphere on a warm summer evening.

06/08/2024: Discovered by chance, we returned with the whole family. Nice, clean and well decorated restaurant. The menu is based almost entirely on typical regional products. We tasted the tagliolini with San Daniele which were excellent, as an appetizer the raw ham aged for 18 months was a delight but also very sweet. To finish with their desserts, especially the one with delicious peaches and ice cream. Average prices, adequate portions and attentive customer service.

05/09/2024: Lovely mountain restaurant in remote location. An oasis if you are on a bike. Great coffee and strudel. Small choice of pasta for lunch.

08/07/2024: Historic place in Cividale del Friuli. Both internally and externally, they offer an environment of excellence that highlights the historicity of the venue. They offer a menu of both fish and meat with correct and varied portions. The staff is very welcoming and professional and can give you excellent advice. We will be back for sure.
