16/08/2025: A truly top-notch restaurant! We've been there twice. The second time was with a girl who has to eat gluten-free. We thought, "This is the restaurant to go to!" The website clearly stated that gluten-free options were available. However, when we arrived and asked about gluten-free options, we were told it wasn't. The lady who helped us even got a little angry. Such a shame! For once, our lady didn't mind and enjoyed the fries, but we were quite disappointed! Highly recommended for serious meat eaters! But gluten-free, as the website clearly states, isn't the case!

06/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience at this seafood restaurant! I went last week with my boyfriend. We had the raw fish appetizers, two first courses (half portions), and a second course. Everything was phenomenal. Impeccable service with very kind staff. Very fair price for the quality of the dishes.

05/08/2025: It was my parents' wedding anniversary, and we found ourselves in Trieste to visit the city. Not being very experienced, we showed up without a reservation at lunchtime, but the owner was kind enough to give us a table anyway. The place is small but truly a gem, very well-kept, and you can tell their motto is few customers but select, high-quality ingredients. In fact, we had a divine lunch, choosing four delicious seafood starters, all made with the freshest fish. The very friendly wait staff also gave us tips on what to see in the city. If I'm ever in Trieste again, I'll stop by and will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Thank you again for saving our lunch ☺️

28/06/2025: In the area for work we stop at this restaurant for lunch as it is close to the hotel where we are staying. Tables in the garden with a tent, the atmosphere is very nice even if when it is hot you can hear it a lot down there. A menu is not brought, a few dishes are offered, a take-away menu brought only after ordering and we discover many other dishes not offered. As advice I would say to leave a complete menu to the customer, at most the variations of the day are exposed verbally. Cacio e pepe unfortunately too liquid, while the squid ink is good. Very small bathroom along the corridor. The service is however kind and present. I count for a total of €40 per person, I do not argue about the amount, but since I did not have a menu the prices are not known, if you also give me a total amount without a detail the customer will never know the cost of each individual course.

06/05/2025: Great pizza, delicious traditional dough. Pizza Tirolese, with thinly sliced ​​bacon all over and brie cheese, was so delicious! It's one of the best pizzas I've had in Italy. Fresh ingredients, thin dough, perfectly prepared. Family business, very kind owners especially for tourists, open kitchen so you can see the whole preparation. Best quality in relation to price in the whole city!

17/07/2025: Wir feierten den Hochzeitstag meines Freundes in diesem versteckten Juwel einer Taverne und waren wirklich beeindruckt. Eingebettet in einen friedlichen Olivenhain, ist die Umgebung sowohl einzigartig als auch einladend, so dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Das Essen war einfach außergewöhnlich - frische, lokale Zutaten, die mit viel Liebe und unglaublichem Können zubereitet wurden. Die Vielfalt der Gerichte, insbesondere der Fisch, war hervorragend. Jeder Teller spiegelte den tiefen Respekt vor der Tradition und die Leidenschaft für das Kochen wider. Was den Abend jedoch wirklich unvergesslich machte, war der Besitzer. Durch seine Wärme, Freundlichkeit und echte Gastfreundschaft fühlten wir uns wie geschätzte Gäste. Als sich der Abend dem Ende zuneigte, erzählte er uns Geschichten, die unserem Erlebnis eine sehr persönliche Note verliehen. Es ist selten, dass man einen Ort findet, an dem alles - von der Atmosphäre über das Essen bis hin zu den Menschen - so perfekt zusammenpasst. Diese familienfreundliche Taverne mit ihren vielen kostenlosen Parkplätzen ist ein Ort, an den wir uns gerne erinnern und an den wir gerne zurückkehren werden.

02/05/2025: Everything perfect, a quality all u can eat. The location is a bit cold and impersonal and booking with a tablet doesn't improve the situation.

12/06/2025: Walking through the alleys of Muggia we came across this beautiful little place: we had some wine, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses that was a sight to behold and a chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and looked after in detail, the platter was one of the most beautiful and good I have ever eaten! The staff is so friendly and kind that it makes you feel at home, the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2025: Not sure what was the best, the food, the service or the staff. My wife is a vegetarian and we got a custom made vegetarian aperitivo plate that was simply amazing. I'd recommend the focaccia bread with truffle paired with the muggia local wine.
