We passed by chance today on our way to Slovenia (Easter day) without even searching on the internet, we entered at 2.30pm and they welcomed us very well, we ate very well, the service was fast but not rushed, attentive and the staff were very kind. Special furnishings and rooms, more than adequate bill... a pleasant discovery.

We passed by purely by chance. And we were lucky. The place inside is very welcoming, but above all the food was really special. Grilled calamari like here, I've only eaten them in Croatia. So a lot of stuff. Excellent experience, we will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the rooms because it was a telehome, and our reservation was a year later, but they told us that they look forward to next year. We made the receptionist have a pleasant evening...

"Old" restaurant in style, but with professional and quick service. Tasty dishes such as ravioli with montasio and polenta and pumpkin gnocchi. Valid alternative to stop if you are passing through Palmanova.

15/09/2023: Ci siamo fermati alla locanda dopo la visita guidata alla miniera. Servizio rapido, piatti genuini, ambiente accogliente e familiare. Abbiamo mangiato più che bene e speso poco! Consigliatissimo!

Ristorante Pizzeria Santa Chiara

05/04/2024: Welcoming environment, friendly staff, excellent food, for now I'm judging it for the "restaurant" part, further down the "pizzeria" part.
18/03/2024: Excellent surprise in the center of Udine, recommended by friends, even though I heard it had been open for some time. Excellent food, including traditional Roman fried foods in my opinion, and pizza which has the crunchiness of a northern pizza but which has a lot of flavour. There were two of us and we took the mixed fried food, 6 pieces, €15 but it was honest because the portions are generous. Plus a pizza each. I would recommend doing a mixed fry for two with only 1 of each type. Because otherwise you'll only eat that. The service was friendly, perhaps a little slow because we arrived at around 7.20pm with two tables besides ours and waited a bit. The place could present itself better, the curtains between the rooms that make them different from each other (for me this doesn't make it clear what soul the place has) and the path to the bathroom that lets you see every corner of the restaurant including the employees taking a break is ugly in my opinion. Excellent price/quality offer We will be back.
