17/08/2024: Friendly staff but biblical times. Small portions and too expensive for what they are. One star for the vegetarian burger: two pieces of bruschetta bread, not even cooked, with grilled vegetables inside. No cheese, no toppings. 9 euros. A scam!

16/08/2024: Excellent and generously sized pizza, thin dough (Roman style) and very light. Nice environment and friendly staff. There are also tables outside. Parking near the venue. Even if there is a large turnout, there is a place to be found. Honest prices

13/08/2024: We just had a toast. Maybe the best toast we ever had 😂😍. We wanted to try the food from their kitchen but we went in the afternoon and the kitchen was closed because they are working so much for breakfast and brunch. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.

22/07/2024: Be careful if you let Google direct you to the location by car. The street is a traffic-calmed zone, monitored by cameras. It can be expensive if you drive in there, you can't park there anyway. It's better to find a parking space shortly beforehand! I can only recommend the location. Lovingly designed ambience (pay attention to the details of the furnishings!), it's nice to sit outside and I imagine it's very comfortable inside too. Very friendly and quick service, we had various pasta variants from the daily menu and tiramisu, everyone liked it very much. Grace!

Rustic location, well looked after with multiple dining rooms. I give 4 stars because several dishes were "sold out", which may be okay given that it was Sunday and they don't do dinner in the evening and Monday is closed, but it would have been correct to notify us before ordering. Details compared to the overall experience. Large outdoor parking. Edit 25 August 2024. Today we returned, while confirming the quality of the dishes and wine, I have to underline that the service today was far from impeccable, the orders for the first and second courses were mixed up so the second courses came out together to the first courses while other dishes were missing. Sin.

25/08/2024: Cena con amici di Cividale durante il Palio di San Donato, quindi oltre alla pizza era previsto un "menù medievale" con piatti tipici. Ottimo il frico con le patate; nel piatto misto medievale non speciale il cinghiale il resto buono. Prezzi più che onesti trattandosi oltretutto una serata di festa con un sacco di gente

07/08/2024: While passing through Cividale we tried this pizzeria, really good pizza, low edge, nice crunchy toppings and abundant, quality ingredients! Cooked in a wood oven, very good result! Approved and Recommended! Excellent prices!

24/08/2024: For me it is the best restaurant in Trieste for those who love classic fish cuisine. I go there especially for the pasta they make at home with scampi and rocket. The fish is always fresh and you always find seasonal products. There are also raw fish and other appetizers and various catches of the day. Try it

20/08/2024: When I go to Cividale, I like to go to Cavallino because they have delicious pizza cooked over the fire like in the past, light and digestible. The girl behind the counter and serving the tables is nice, polite and kind, always nice to exchange a few words in her company. I also highly recommend it as a restaurant, not just a pizzeria!

18/08/2024: Pizze veramente buone, cotte nel forno a legna. Purtroppo non si può esprimere un parere altrettanto positivo sulla pulizia del locale e sulla simpatia dei camerieri, che al nostro arrivo non ci hanno accolto nemmeno con sorriso e ci hanno fatto attendere una decina di minuti prima di accompagnarci ad un tavolo (attesa non dovuta ad un affollamento del locale, ma a scarsa organizzazione e probabilmente mancanza di personale)
