09/10/2025: A confirmation. My wife and I have dined at Porton in Trieste several times. The welcome has always been warm, the service prompt, and the food—fish-based dishes—always good. The quality/price ratio is favorable. In short: you eat well and pay a fair price.

21/09/2025: One of the best meals in terms of value for money you can get in Lignano! Unassuming restaurant and menu! Unfortunately, we only discovered this restaurant on our last day. Had we eaten here earlier, we would have avoided all the other restaurants. We just wanted a drink, but seeing the other dishes, we were getting hungry! Super-large portions. We'd happily go back :)

08/11/2025: Quite expensive, but the location is truly enchanting, in true mountain style. Good food, and I'd say the gnocchi are excellent. A 2 for the staff, especially the cashier, who are rude and seem unsuited to dealing with the public. A real shame, especially because with a little kindness and a few smiles, we'd be happy to return. Come on, guys, life is beautiful! 💪🏻

29/11/2025: I had dinner with friends. The place was very nice and welcoming, as was the staff! The food was excellent, and the value was also excellent! I had the pumpkin crepes... delicious! For the main course, the goulash with polenta was delicious too! My friends had the grilled fish and the mixed fried fish for the main course, and they highly recommend it! The homemade desserts were exceptional! A great choice. Definitely worth a try. I'll be back.

23/07/2025: I was there in June 2025. I politely asked for a mixed scoop in a cone. The man behind the counter replied, in an annoyed tone, that it doesn't work that way, and pointed to a display that said the small cones only contain one flavor. I apologized for not reading, so I ordered a small cone with only one flavor. The cone was handed directly to me, so while I was fumbling for coins to pay (the price wasn't cheap, by the way), the ice cream inevitably fell to the floor. I apologized again to the waiter, who huffed, collected the money, didn't even acknowledge my willingness to clean up, and served the next customers without even offering me another ice cream (which I had just paid for). It's a shame because the product is truly high-quality, but due to the rudeness of the staff, I won't set foot in there again, nor will I recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Maybe they'll be more relaxed this way, since it seems like they're being disturbed when they come in.

17/11/2025: We stopped here on our way back from Slovenia, around 3:00 PM, four of us. We had a great time, the food was delicious, and Sara, the waitress, was fantastic! A good quality Serbian restaurant, with exquisite service and a casual atmosphere. If I were to pass by again, I'd be happy to stop for their suckling pig. The homemade bread is spectacular. Highly recommended 😜

06/12/2025: Trattoria Cervo Bianco in Erto is a simple and friendly place, where you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are truly exquisite, prepared with care and using quality ingredients. The friendly staff makes the experience even more enjoyable, and the quality-price ratio is excellent. A highly recommended stop for those passing through Erto or wanting to enjoy Friulian cuisine in an authentic atmosphere.

18/11/2025: A very characteristic place located in the alleys of Cavana. Stunning decor, warm and inviting, with a mezzanine dining room. Excellent food, from the exquisite fish soup to the Gran Fritto misto. The Friulian wine (house wine) was delicious. Everything was excellent, absolutely recommended.
