08/11/2025: If you want something local, real, incredibly good, completely unique, fantastic service and run by people who love what they do…then choose this place. We wish we had a larger appetite for more dishes because they all were fantastic. The fritto misto was perfectly fried and salted, the gnocchi with fish was tender with a wonderful broth, the paccheri with straciatella was out of this world good! The house wine was delicious…and the dolce?? A raspberry, fried pear, whipped cream and biscotti “tiramisu”??? Worth every single incredible bite. We will be back every time we are in Trieste.

01/11/2025: One star because I booked via TheFork; the reservation was first accepted and then (an hour later) canceled for some unknown reason.
I'll also add: I've been there twice already; the seating is often in the middle of the avenue; the food is good but nothing special, and I didn't appreciate the staff at all, who tried to pressure me into ordering food I didn't actually want (I recommend writing down your order, as it's easy to get confused with the names of the dishes and end up paying more).
The price is slightly higher than average.
The restaurant can definitely improve and has a lot of potential. It's a shame to give such a negative review.
