30/07/2025: The atmosphere is completely different from an all-you-can-eat place. It's serene and calm. The service is excellent, and the owners are truly super kind. The sushi is good, nothing to complain about. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is truly intimate. Recommended :)
12/07/2025: I made a reservation today at 8:30 PM for two people. The place is very clean and quiet. The owners, a husband and wife team, were wonderful and incredibly kind. The sushi was excellent, in my opinion the best in Udine. Both the fish and the rice were delicious. Takeout is also available.
A truly wonderful experience, highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

15/09/2025: Not far from the hotel, unfortunately without a restaurant, I initially wanted to walk further and get some pasta.
But then I stayed here.
Delicious pizza, friendly people, and very good service.

27/11/2025: Very welcoming restaurant and a fantastic 15 euro fixed menu! Choice of two first courses, two second courses with side dishes, water, wine, and coffee for only 15 euros. Excellent value. Will definitely return.
25/10/2025: Today we went we ate the grilled food not so special the sausage was cheap the meat was a bit tough and not tasty you can find better around always at the same price.

02/11/2025: Great place with great owners and staff. Rooms were comfortable, with a nice terrace. Nice touch: heating on in the bathrooms when we arrived at the end of October. Great dinner in the restaurant, if you arrive on the days it's opened. We needed adjacent rooms, travelling with 3 kids, and the response was swift and much appreciated. Will come back again one day. If only to get some more wine...

01/11/2025: We chose this place based on the reviews and have never regretted it. The nature is stunning, the area is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable. We arrived at sunset and were greeted with a glass of wine—it was unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent, but most importantly, the welcoming atmosphere and the wonderful owners left us with the warmest memories and a great desire to return again to finally sample the host's cuisine.
17/10/2025: It's no coincidence that every time we go on vacation in Friuli Venezia Giulia, we go to Hostaria Pettirosso! It's always a great place. Well done!

16/12/2025: I recently had dinner with colleagues. The food was divine; every dish was fabulous! Especially the salted meat appetizer. The rustic setting creates the perfect atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

13/12/2025: I was skeptical upon entry, but then I was welcomed into the dining room. Welcoming, clean, and warm! The service was very competent, not intrusive but always ready to listen to requests. The menu was fairly classic, with meat options as well. But they do serve fish. Excellent! Many dishes are off-menu because they're based on fresh fish. For the first time, I heard the suggestion: four-hour-old fish, from this morning or last night!
I'll be back with my family.

14/12/2025: Café Tommaseo impresses with its elegance and typical Viennese charm.
Unfortunately, the seating (inside the café) is quite cramped.
The service staff could be a bit more attentive and friendly.
The selection of desserts is good, but it falls far short of Austrian confectionery standards.
The issues mentioned are minor and shouldn't deter anyone from visiting; Café Tommaseo is always worth a visit.
09/12/2025: Trieste's historic bar and restaurant. It retains its class and all the history that comes with it.

21/09/2025: Excellent pizza, pasta, and seafood. The mixed fried fish is delicious, with a wide variety, as are the cleaned shrimp and the perfectly sized calamari. We've been eating there for years, and I must say I've noticed a lot of attention paid to their takeout options, too. All the staff are also extremely friendly.
