The artichoke appetizer was hard and cold, and the chicken steak was also lukewarm (the dish was already cold when it arrived) and served with cherry tomatoes that weren't exactly fresh.
The stewed beans, however, were very good. Prices were quite high.

31/01/2026: We arrived in San Daniele by chance and stumbled upon this restaurant as soon as we parked our cars. The atmosphere is lovely, clean, and welcoming, with a central fireplace lit, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly. We really wanted to try the much-vaunted local prosciutto, and it was much appreciated—exceptional! Afterward, some friends ordered the cheese frico with polenta.
Not everyone liked it because they thought it was too toasted, which is probably due to the recipe.
A few others and I ordered the tagliolini with radicchio, and here, we were completely satisfied!
A good red wine accompanied everything! The price was fair and honest.

20/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Sociale Casa del Popolo in Trieste, and the experience was truly excellent. The food is excellent, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, and the portions are generous. The prices are fair and perfectly in line with the quality and quantity offered.
The service is impeccable: the staff is professional yet friendly, always available and attentive to customer needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a lunch with friends and a special occasion.
A place we'll definitely return to!

The waitress was very kind, and the owner/chef explained the daily specials. The atmosphere was very friendly. The prices were very fair.

07/03/2026: Seafood restaurant located on Via Luigi Cadorna in the city of Trieste in a small, informal, clean and very welcoming place where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish appetizers, delicious and tasty first courses and tasty second courses, recommended mixed fried fish, good desserts and sorbet, all accompanied by an excellent selection of wines with kind, attentive and friendly service.
07/02/2026: A charming and welcoming atmosphere in a strategic location, close to the city center but slightly out of the way.
We chose this well-reviewed little place and had a great time.
The appetizers were excellent, and the main courses were also good. A bit disappointing with the millefeuille dessert, which was a shame.
The wines were reasonably priced.
The prices for the dishes were perhaps a little on the high side, but fish has its price.
It cost about €70 per person for three courses.

15/02/2026: What can I say? The food is delicious, Sergio's first courses are unbeatable (special mention for the pappardelle with scampi and arugula). The service is impeccable and attentive, the waiters are all helpful and courteous, and Silvia is incredibly kind. Any occasion is a great reason to return! Highly recommended.

Fair prices and superb products.
The wine was delicious, as was the elderberry syrup...
And the cookies 🍪 were exceptional...
Really, really, really good...
I regret not having bought more...
Many, many, many truly interesting, traditional products, excellent for gifts, like we did.
The gift was much appreciated.

01/03/2026: Unfortunately, I found the relaxation areas poorly managed: despite the clear instructions not to occupy the loungers with personal items and towels, many people did so anyway, making it difficult to find a free spot to lie down during the three-hour stay. I had the impression that more people were allowed in than the actual capacity.
Despite this aspect, the overall experience was very pleasant. I particularly appreciated the snack room, with cookies and hot tea always available. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional, and the massage was truly relaxing and well-performed.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely return to try it again, hoping for more careful management of the relaxation areas.
15/02/2026: An enchanting place. Kept in perfect condition. The cellar is fascinating, especially the re-discovered tunnel from the Second World War. Compliments to the owner. The tasting was very well-prepared. Sommelier Camille was a lovely person, very knowledgeable and friendly.

09/03/2026: Tre Corone was a delightful surprise. Soft jazz and the best Negroni Sbagliato ever to start. Refined salads for the appetizer, followed by a melt-in-your-mouth chicken breast and a perfect steak tartare, along with an excellent wine recommendation from the attentive staff. A wonderful evening. We'll be back! Maybe we'll even catch one of their live jazz concerts.

14/12/2025: There were five of us without a reservation, but they seated us even though all the tables were booked. The pizzas were delicious, and the service was super friendly and helpful. I'll recommend this pizzeria to others. Thanks so much, guys, keep up the good work!!!
