For those who would like to taste the Triestinity. Unbeatable during Oktoberfest.
An authentic atmosphere with typical local dishes. The lady who served us was very kind and helpful in explaining the dishes. Everything we ate was delicious. I would definitely return and recommend this place to everyone.

We stopped here on our way back from Croatia.
Small, typical deli with a few tables and a counter. On Fridays, they only do fish, and we were so pleased! Everything was delicious, and the ingredients were truly excellent. Superb service! What can I say...the best fish I've eaten in years. Congratulations and thank you for everything ❤

Delicious food for the soul, you can truly feel it’s made with passion and care. We tried the tripe, the guancia, and some artichokes, and everything was absolutely yummy! 😋 If we come back to Trieste, this place will definitely be a must for us again.

Truly unique experience, and just amazing. Food was excellent ( we had pasta with cime di rapa, and two other fantastastic meat dishes, with glass of tasty red wine ) Czech waitress was so nice, thank you for beeing helpful with translating of some dishes and smiles ! Greetings from Brno !
When we will back in Trieste, we will definitely come back.

P.S. But : expect very busy, crowded place...But for good food, drink, vibe, you have to wait sometimes...

I went to Buffet L'Approdo for lunch. It was a fantastic experience: delicious and varied food, a very pleasant (and extremely friendly) atmosphere, and fair prices (I spent €17 for soup, a cordonbleau, and a dessert, which also included water, service charge, and bread). One of the ladies in particular was incredibly kind to my girlfriend and I: she explained the entire menu to us and gave us some excellent recommendations. Highly recommended (maybe make a reservation, as it's often very crowded).
