A must-visit in Trieste, much of the activity takes place standing up. Excellent wines, delicious food from the display case and kitchen. Pleasant conversations and the friendliest, most cheerful service. A meeting place for the locals.

What can I say...we came here thanks to a recommendation. It couldn't have been better! The cicchetti are exceptional, as are the dishes. This will be our go-to place for delicious aperitivo in Trieste!

Very popular place, I don't think you need to book. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's also very clean. We had a delicious first course (as recommended), generous portions, and a fair price. Highly recommended 🍴

We stopped here on our way back from Croatia. Small, typical deli with a few tables and a counter. On Fridays, they only do fish, and we were so pleased! Everything was delicious, and the ingredients were truly excellent. Superb service! What can I say...the best fish I've eaten in years. Congratulations and thank you for everything ❤

An authentic atmosphere with typical local dishes. The lady who served us was very kind and helpful in explaining the dishes. Everything we ate was delicious. I would definitely return and recommend this place to everyone.

28/06/2026: Great little stucked away gem. Get off the beaten path and go find this really good pizzeria. Affordable prices for fantastic good food. They have a wood fired owen and make delicious pizza and pasta. We had three different pizzas, San Danielle prosciutto and a carbonara. All top notch.

16/07/2026: Without a doubt, this is one of the great restaurants not only in Trieste, but in Italy. The restaurant itself is worth the visit: it's a very well-preserved building from 1830. The atmosphere is elegant and the service is very kind, especially the maître d' and sommelier, Loris, a philosopher of the good life. We had 4 glasses of wine (excellent suggestions from Loris), 2 appetizers and 3 main courses. Don't miss the seafood risotto: one of the best we've ever tasted. Perfect evening!
