A superb "Heuriger" (wine tavern) in the heart of the Karst and a small village. Very friendly service, hearty, typical winemaker's snacks, good wine, especially the "Orange" (a very fine and delicious wine), and a nearby magnificent view over the Bay of Trieste all the way to Grado...

Very nice Osmiza with many tables and seats, very good food (not only cold cuts and cheeses) today also really good savory strucoli all accompanied by an excellent wine. Very well organized and after ordering it took just a few minutes and we received the various cutting boards. Helpful staff. Average low price for everything we ate Highly recommended

Very pleasant location. The large hotel that shades the entire courtyard is unique. The old stone structure is also interesting. Good cold cuts. The stuffed focaccia and the palacinke are also good: try the ones with elderberry jam and sage. No problem with parking

31/03/2025: Mi spiace come Triestino di non essere mai stato precedentemente in questo locale; si respira un'aria di tempi diversi e forse migliori. Lo staff è impeccabile. Le pietanze ed i vini sono serviti con la elegante consuetudine di un tempo. E' un ristorante dove ognuno dovrebbe sentirsi un pò come a casa sua.

17/05/2025: I love the buffets in Trieste, simple and practical places. I ate well at this buffet, the service was kind and fast, the bill more than honest. No refinement but it's fine this way. I recommend it.
