Elegant and informal atmosphere, medium-high prices for aperitifs, outdoor seating under the porticos... shame about the smell of smoke...

Bar Roma in Novellara means history, a glorious past, and unforgettable evenings. And I wish this bar long life and prosperity, faithful to this mantra of bringing generations together in one of the most beautiful places in the province of Reggio Emilia. A special shout-out to the bartender (male), who, in my opinion, adds value to this place. Bravo!

A coffee in the most trendy place in Novellara is a must, or a quick lunch break with the delicious taste of a simple and carefully prepared dish.

We ate very well... I'd say beyond my expectations... it's a shame that the door to the restaurant was open and it was cold when we sat down for dinner... and the table we dined at was truly microscopic and while we were dining around us they were moving tables and doing errands... So in fact we really felt like we were on loan... I reiterate the goodness of the dishes and the excellent quality/price ratio... but a little organization wouldn't hurt if you also want dinner service.

We went for breakfast. With high expectations given their long-standing top rankings. But... snobbish service, good cappuccinos, good croissants and savory pastries, but not enough to drive far. Given my distance, a fail.
