21/02/2026: The format is a tried and tested one. The new opening probably still needs some running-in. The fried gnocco is phenomenal: I haven't tasted one this good in years. The giardiniera inspiration could be improved, as could the tart, which is a bit flabby.

10/08/2025: For those who work in the area, this is definitely a must-try! Plenty of options to choose from, including appetizers, side dishes, first and second courses, desserts, and fruit. All of the quality is top-notch, with generous portions and reasonable prices! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Elisa and Polly!

08/03/2026: We had lunch at Il Poeta Contadino restaurant in Carpineti and had a truly wonderful time. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a very helpful manager. They even let us charge our electric motorcycle during lunch, which was truly appreciated. A perfect spot for anyone passing through the area, especially if you're hiking the Apennine trails. We'll definitely be back!

16/10/2025: I ordered a takeout pizza. It was good, but I ordered a red one with olives, anchovies, and capers. I was charged a surcharge for each additional ingredient on the pizza: €2.80 for anchovies, €2 for olives, and a whopping €1 for oregano and garlic. In my opinion, they were overly strict in this regard; this is not fair at all. This is unacceptable behavior.
15/10/2025: Truly good pizza, made with top-quality ingredients: I recommend trying it!
I had a reservation, so they seated us within minutes. The only downside: the hour-long wait, which, even though it was a Saturday night, was incredibly long.

22/11/2025: Superb pizza, a delicious menu with sophisticated dishes from starters to desserts. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. It's rare to find all these qualities in a single restaurant. I can only recommend it as a favorite!

13/12/2025: National pastry shop with a deep Neapolitan touch. One word: a delight for the palate. I regularly use them to sweeten special lunches and dinners, like the cake for my first 60th birthday: a magnificent 8 kg, devoured in minutes by my friends.
06/11/2025: I got my birthday cake from this pastry shop.
I'd say it was a perfect choice because it completely satisfied my tastes.
Highly recommended!!

08/03/2026: Very good food, somewhat long waiting times, table set incompletely, during the long wait for the dishes there was nothing to nibble on, staff too rushed and not very attentive to customer requests.
16/02/2026: In my opinion, all the dishes are delicious. I especially recommend the guancialini (pork cheeks), but the fried gnocco is also one of the best around, and the first courses are excellent. I've taken several people here, and they've always left satisfied.

09/03/2026: I love this restaurant. It serves traditional cuisine in a retro setting, and the service is excellent and friendly. The food is authentic, without frills; forget about plating, decorations, and all that nonsense. Here, you'll find authentic flavor and the ability to use raw ingredients just as they used to in grandma's kitchens. You have to make a reservation for lunch; otherwise, you'll miss out.
17/02/2026: The ambiance is 1960s-style (and the years are clearly visible). The dishes are poorly presented, the portions are quite small, and the food is neither good nor bad. The prices are not cheap. I definitely won't be returning.
