Il Poeta Contadino In Carpineti

So we were there for the rally, and decided to eat, of course, from the special menu for the day. A very good sausage, perhaps a generous portion, just well-cooked. It's been a long time since I've had such a simple yet delicious dish. As for the main course, unfortunately, the grilled meat was a real disappointment. I think the meat came straight from the oven, but honestly, it was a grilled piece of Costa Yola, a sausage, and a piece of cooked ham, and a bit of scabbage. Although I had a great time and will be back.

We had a great Sunday lunch and were well-served. The price was in line with the excellent, all-handmade products we consumed. Kudos to the waitresses. The fifth star is missing because the potato gnocchi were too hard; the amount of flour and type of potato makes all the difference. I recommend both the cappelletti and the tortelli with a truly delicate mushroom filling.

Like eating at grandma's. Simple but well-chosen dishes and menus, top prices. The interior could be improved a bit.

We had lunch at Il Poeta Contadino restaurant in Carpineti and had a truly wonderful time. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a very helpful manager. They even let us charge our electric motorcycle during lunch, which was truly appreciated. A perfect spot for anyone passing through the area, especially if you're hiking the Apennine trails. We'll definitely be back!
