06/04/2026: The lady was exemplary rudeness. The place was temporarily without electricity and you couldn't pay with your debit card. For this reason, I was treated as badly as could be. If something like this happens to me again, I will respond in the same way I was treated. Rude. Change jobs.

27/10/2025: I'm giving 3 stars out of confidence because they're hardworking guys who have put themselves out there. Maybe as a pizzeria or burger joint, it's okay, but I can't judge. As a trattoria/restaurant, I'd give it less than 2 because we're just not up to scratch. They might have mistaken us for city folks, or who knows, but we're from the lowlands between Piacenza and Parma. We know all the products, and since we're also motorcyclists, we also know all the places in the surrounding hills. Yesterday, we didn't want to go far, and after seeing the ad at the racetrack, we said, "Let's try!" The 1-piece appetizer of cured meats for 1 cost 18 euros (4 slices 🤦🏻). They wouldn't even give it to us as an aperitif, so poor 🤦🏻. We already wanted to leave, but since we ordered tortelli, we thought maybe they'd make up for it. The trio of tortelli was good, but for 9 of us, we didn't even sit down at the table. The desserts were from a pizzeria, nothing homemade or hilly like homemade or bakery cakes, but they were still good. A half-pint of white wine in a carafe, a beer, and two coffees were €86. It would have been nice if they'd brought food, since everything was more or less good, but we woke up hungry for €86. Given the quantity, we refused to order a second course! You can't do everything, guys. Either you go for a trattoria-style meal (not at these prices/quantities, otherwise they'll crush you) or you go for a pizzeria and hamburger joint, which is fine.

26/10/2025: Dinner with friends, after a long time since I'd made a promise to go (and one I couldn't break!). The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, inspired by the motoring history of Varano de' Melegari. The service is always smiling and prompt, making you feel immediately at ease. Five of us had pizzas: excellent crust, not too salty, generous toppings, but just right. One of us tried the trio of homemade tortelli, made according to the season, and was pleased. I found a real treat, which I'm crazy about: the caramelized onions, excellent and always homemade. To finish, I recommend the fantastic tiramisu. What more can I say? You can successfully combine a clear passion for your craft and enthusiasm with dishes that make you want to return. Thanks for the wonderful evening!

16/05/2026: I left a great review 6 years ago. Back then, the pizza was very good and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Things have changed a lot now; they use an electric oven and undercooked pizzas, which is a shame. The chef/pizza chef also scolded us for arriving at 9:20 PM (on a Saturday), which was late for him. He told us, "Don't let that happen again!" 😳 It seems unheard of, but we won't go there anymore. The place is also a bit like that; they don't even put up the sign anymore, and if you call, they don't answer... it's obvious they're planning on closing. However, they also run a restaurant with simple, reasonably priced dishes.

27/04/2026: We ordered a half-meter pizza for delivery. The pizza was embarrassing, raw, and cut into birthday-party-style squares. And most importantly, it was cut before adding the mozzarella, which consisted of a thick layer of melted cheese that had gotten stuck in every crack in the pizza rectangle, even sticking completely to the cardboard...absurd.

21/07/2026: The moment we walked into Sri Ganesh in Parma, our instinct was to turn around and leave. The place was entirely empty, and staying back was a mistake. The restaurant is outdated, visibly unclean, and the freshness of both the oil and the ingredients was highly questionable. While a few Indian restaurants in cities like Milan maintain great standards, poor hygiene is unfortunately too common with most.... To the Indian restaurant owners in Italy ... "We need to project a modern India"—not a dusty, outdated version of antiquity. The ancient kitchens and old mindsets need to change if we want to stop facing criticism from locals.

24/05/2026: It's never happened to me in all these years. I show up to ask for a table and am left waiting for over 5 minutes without being told anything. I wait because I see the staff is busy with service, even though at least a 'good morning' or 'we'll come as soon as we can' would have been appreciated. It was 12:20, so very early. Several tables were empty, so I assumed there was room. Instead, after a long wait, I hear what I believe to be the owner say 'tell him there's no time,' and shortly afterward the waitress stammers out 'if he has much patience... there's a long wait...' It almost seems like they're trying to kick me out without saying so! I repeat. I've never left a place with free tables and been treated this way. I hope it's not always like this.

19/04/2026: Excellent service and outstanding food. Very, very reasonably priced. We had a 3 course set menu for only 12 euro each for 6 of us. Could've easily fed 12! Waitress only spoke Italian,but with the help of google translate and her patience, we got there without any troubles. Fantastic service, went above and beyond to cater for us. Would definitely recommend

05/06/2026: This pizza is among the BEST in Parma and the province! I've been getting pizza from them at least once or twice a week for years now because it's incredible! I've tried practically every flavor and still haven't figured out which is my favorite. There's so much to choose from, but above all, the quality is mind-blowing! Not to mention the montanarine!!! Each one is better than the last! I'm sorry I can't post a photo because I've never gotten around to taking one. I used to eat them before! Because they're also beautiful to look at 😍
