28/04/2025: I often go when I want to eat fresh fish cooked in a superlative way and high quality raw food. My expectation was confirmed yesterday too. You don't need to go to the seaside or to Milan to eat excellent fish. Quiet and refined place, very kind and helpful owners, impeccable service. And eating here is a lust. I don't think I can advise against any course but crudités, Cacciaroli, Fritters, Orecchiette with Seafood, Octopus Catalan, Mixed Fried and Grilled are of the highest level. Always a guarantee. I recommend it to everyone I know, always and I often take friends and acquaintances there. Compliments

24/12/2024: My experience was unique. An unforgettable place with kind and courteous waiters who care about the well-being of customers. The restaurant is small but despite this they still manage to get around and serve perfectly. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

25/11/2024: Proprietari molto gentili e simpatici. La pasta fatta in casa era molto buona! Le patate arrosto davvero squisite! Il menù è scritto in una lavagna appena fuori dalla porta , al tavolo invece elencano i piatti a voce. Proporrei un menù per visionare tutto senza doverlo ricordare

09/03/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance taste of times gone by. The owner welcomed us with a smile and then won us over with the delicacies of his restaurant! Amazing tigelle, ciacci and borlenghi!!! Everything is strictly homemade, prepared with love, just like it used to be done in the old days. The staff is very kind and cheerful. You have to go there! Well done!

04/03/2025: On our journey today we continued from Zocca to Monteombraro (Mo), to the Versilia fair. When lunch time arrived we decided for a local restaurant; The new Odyssey: FANTASTIC!!! nice and welcoming place where Nadia and Paolo pampered us like at home and then moved on to taste their Borlenghi specialties and fried gnocco. VERY GOOD! 😋😋😋not to mention the cold cuts and cheeses that accompany these delicacies. Everything was excellent, even the bill!! even though there was no menu displayed with prices, which can sometimes embarrass those on a limited budget. Highly recommended!! If you pass through Monteombraro, stop here

08/04/2025: Bad! if you are not staying in the hotel and are with children, I advise against it... They couldn't wait for us to leave and they did nothing to hide it, even though they were children who were very used to eating out, lively, of course, but very polite, always at the table and without screaming or crying. Good, but you don't feel like you're on holiday! Never again!

Booking online was a breeze and the service was impeccable, with friendly, helpful staff. The starters were an explosion of flavors and creativity, a true gastronomic journey. And the meat? Perfectly matured and cooked just right, it was simply divine. The context is enchanting, immersed in the beauty of the Renaissance complex of Montegibbio, a corner of paradise that is worth visiting. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good meat and life, it's an experience you won't forget! 5/5 stars.

22/04/2025: Disappointing experience, we will not return again There were 12 of us, the place practically empty: a detail that should have alarmed us. We arrived at 12.30pm and only managed to get up at 3.30pm, exhausted by the embarrassingly slow service. Three hours for a lunch, without any justification. We spent a good €140 per couple, when €90 would have been too much. The dishes were poor: the meat was tough, served in such small quantities that we had to sip it to get it to the other end of the table. The grilled vegetables were raw and tasteless, and the wine… absolutely overpriced compared to the quality offered. We often frequented Il Caminetto years ago, under the old management, and we had excellent memories of it. Unfortunately, this new management has completely ruined what was a nice place. First and last time.

The blonde girl at the checkout is very beautiful, polite, smiling, unlike the others who work there who don't say hello, just look at the customers and laugh at them. Shameful. It would be enough to replace them. However highly recommended!!!!!!

29/05/2025: I went for an aperitif and the barman Andrea was very helpful in explaining the different cocktails to me, advising me based on my tastes. He even created one for my daughter on the spot (the one in the photo) which was delicious! The buffet is varied and includes assorted mini sandwiches, erbazzone, vegetables in addition to the usual snacks... I was told that sometimes there is also pasta. The place is quiet and you can chat. The price is reasonable: with €10 I had my cocktail and I went around the buffet several times. Highly recommended!

28/04/2025: EXCELLENT PROSPECTS We always look for places like this that have personal characteristics and we are unlikely to be dissatisfied. This time too the experience did not disappoint us. The menu was not very extensive but managed to satisfy all requests. The flavors were all there, perhaps not very accentuated and perhaps in need of a little refinement but certainly in the right direction. I would try to improve the presentation. The place, however, is really beautiful, well furnished and well maintained. Seeing the locals in the area this could easily outclass them. Unfortunately, the service is not up to the standard of the restaurant, friendly and composed but a choice of wines is not presented, a dish is not recommended even after request and is honestly not very engaging, as if it were done just for fun. Sometimes a smile helps. The price is excellent and if they could fix a few things they could ask for more. Definitely recommended.
