23/07/2025: We had dinner at Cicala on a Tuesday evening in July. As soon as we arrived, we were asked if we wanted water, and it was brought to us immediately. However, they didn't serve us the welcome plate with some appetizers, which they instead served to all the other tables along with water. The waitress came to take our orders shortly afterward. We ordered three first courses, followed by gnocco and tigelle. After a good half hour, the first courses arrived. The portions were medium-small for the price, but the quality was quite good. After clearing the first courses, another half hour later, the gnocco and tigelle with cured meats arrived, which were of good quality. Overall, the waiters were always very friendly and helpful. The bill was steep. We spent €110 for three of us, ordering three first courses for €16 each, gnocco and tigelle for two (€16 x 2 = €32), two bottles of water, and a Coke. We weren't 100% satisfied.

23/07/2025: A hilltop restaurant with a beautiful view. I went there for my girlfriend's anniversary, and the little room they gave us was perfect for a couples' dinner. The food was really good; with a first course each and a grilled meat for a second course, we were incredibly full. Plus, their homemade pulled gnocchi was out of this world! Plus, the price was quite reasonable. The service was also truly excellent; in our case, the waitress was excellent and friendly!

21/06/2025: Excellent location for excursions to the Sentiero delle Cascate and to enjoy the mountain in all its facets. Welcoming and very clean structure, large and spacious rooms recently renovated. Renovated furniture. Friendliness and courtesy are certainly elements not to be underestimated. Very refined cuisine with typical dishes of the area, between Emilia and Tuscany. Tortelli and pasta made strictly at home. Varied "à la carte" menu, excellent food quality. Really excellent quality/price ratio! We will definitely be back!

16/02/2025: I was on holiday in the mountains. The hotel is located in a small village, difficult to find. The service was great and they are very kind, they have a small restaurant, so you don't have to find restaurants in the area. The room was nice and not overly priced. A small flaw is that it is a small room. Beautiful place.

04/07/2025: Restaurant where you can eat both pizza, fish and also meat. I ate an appetizer, the fried Neapolitan cuoppo, very good and also abundant, and followed by a pizza Nerano, also very good. Honest price and courteous staff!

08/07/2025: Posto bellissimo, molto chic per mangiare gnocco e tigelle,😂😂 la sorella del proprietario antipatica e poco gentile , consiglio di cambiare lavoro Voto 1 perché non fanno entrare i cagnolini di piccola taglia silenziosi e ubbidienti nemmeno fuori, molto più fastidiosi e maleducati alcuni bambini che corrono a ridosso del tavolo dove stai mangiando, hanno perso 2 buoni clienti

07/07/2025: Non una buona esperienza in relazione al conto pagato, tagliata discreta, filetto con sapore e odore pungente, probabilmente la griglia non pulita con attenzione ha trasferito i sapori dei grassi ricotti. Errore del cameriere nel prendere ordine ( serata caotica , ci sta di sabato sera) il quale ha ribadito più volte che avevamo ordinato altro (ho puntato il dito sul menu mentre era al tavolo a prendere ordine) . Inoltre leggendo le recensioni ho controllato lo scontrino, prosecco valdobbiadene da 18€ pagato 22€. Se anche fosse che la bottiglia a menu non è disponibile devono comunque avvertire il cliente . Esperienza non positiva, mi dispiace perché il titolare è una persona estremamente gentile e disponibile, e la location come da titolo davvero piacevole. Probabilmente l’organizzazione ha generato queste problematiche (scontrino a parte) . Servizio non all’altezza, camerieri non attenti e davvero poco disponibili.

23/05/2025: Very friendly staff, place with a spectacular view of the rocca malatina rocks. Very good food especially the exquisite tortelloni. We will definitely be back

28/06/2025: I had an amazing meal at Boutique della Pizza — every dish captured the soul of Southern Italy. Started with “il buono della Puglia,” a fresh and flavorful appetizer featuring burrata, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, olives, artichokes, and toasted bread. Full of character! For the main, I chose the “REGINA MARGHERITA (alta).” A fluffy, high-rimmed pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmigiano, and fresh basil — a classic with a delicious twist. Dessert was a tasting of artisanal mini gelato from Pizzo Calabro: dark truffle, white chocolate, hazelnut, cassata, and lemon kiss. Each one was a delightful surprise. Great atmosphere, beautifully crafted food — definitely a place I’d return to.

10/07/2025: I personally consider it the best pizza in Modena, with tomatoes from Campania that are excellent for a tomato and basil spaghetti. Top 🔝

29/06/2025: I don't even wait to finish dinner to review, such is the level of scarcity of the service. Waiters available and with their hands in their pockets: 5. Place half empty. One of them throws things on the table, another forgets to bring water, they yell at each other. All this in a place half empty (10.16 pm on Sunday 29 June). Grilled octopus appetizer on potato cake: n. 3 micro tentacles. Ok that it was an appetizer, but the quantity was so laughable that it could be downgraded to the concept of tasting. Cost 15 euros.

18/07/2025: Very tasty pizza, family-friendly atmosphere. Communication in English is a bit limited at times, but they try very hard. Definitely recommended.

25/06/2025: Great value for money. A really nice, old-fashioned pub with a pool table and darts. Good beer and lots of choice both on tap and in bottles. As for food: sandwiches, hamburgers, fried food of all kinds!

17/06/2025: I have frequented this PUB on several occasions, but unfortunately, each visit has been worse than the previous one. What once seemed like a welcoming place has turned into an environment devoid of courtesy, professionalism and the minimum respect towards customers. The owner seems to have forgotten what hospitality meant, treating the customers with indifference, if not with open rudeness..

04/06/2025: in short, very happy. we stopped to look for a bathroom just before midday, at which point we asked if there were 4 seats. the lady with a nice and easy-going manner after 30 seconds told us yes, note that we had booked in another place perhaps nicer but certainly not as easy-going as here with the lady whose name I don't remember. given the way she did it we accepted and cancelled in the other place, the lady assured us that we would leave more than satisfied. and so it was. 3 courses of first courses, unique tortellini, excellent grill that for me was for 6 people and not for 4. too much to eat, too bad, but the lady anticipated us by bringing 3 aluminum trays to the table telling us to take away what we had left, practically half the grill. to finish 3 first courses, chips, sparkling water, side dishes, vegetables, coffee and dessert, 25.00 euros each!!!!! we were amazed. this is a place that when I'm in the area I will definitely stop by even just to say hello
