27/09/2025: We came here for a drink. The staff is very fiendly! They spoke a little english, and tried their best to communicate with us. The pie and the other baked food is very good! The coffee is good! The cocktail was also delicious. I would definitely come back here!!

03/02/2026: Well, what can I say? One of the nicest places in Finale, offering breakfast, lunch, aperitifs, dinner, and after-dinner drinks, all of which are always very tasty. Excellent cuisine with a good à la carte menu (with the addition of off-menu options) using high-quality ingredients that are used very well. Very friendly service at any time. Highly, highly recommended.

30/01/2026: It's a great place that I've been frequenting for a while, but the rudeness and intolerance of some of the bartenders towards the customers makes you change places!!

22/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. Whenever we're in the area, a stop at Contea di Montale is a must. We've been there three times and haven't found a single dish I didn't like. The starters are excellent, the meats are top-notch, and then... I suggest you don't leave the restaurant without trying the mascarpone, which alone is worth the visit. During our last visit, we had a small problem with the wine bottle. Being inexperienced, we accepted the bottle and only realized the problem after a few sips. I must appreciate the restaurant owner's courtesy (we were dealing with a mustachioed waiter at the time, whose name I don't know but whom I really appreciated): he changed the bottle for us immediately, although I realize it wasn't at all obvious at that point. Also worthy of mention is the Brazilian-born waitress: welcoming, smiling, and excellent because she immediately understood and accommodated our needs related to our small child. In short: I'm satisfied. Well done, and see you soon!

20/03/2026: Besides trying this place last summer with friends (a good experience), I returned to organize a simple dinner with work colleagues. Vegetarian colleagues were also present and easily found dishes they liked (such as gnocco fritto without lard). We chose to have a mixed appetizer brought to us to share, then each of us chose either a first course or a second course. The quality of the dishes is good, but I should point out that there is a price for this. The wine list is very extensive, featuring both local and national/international wines, in addition to the usual restaurant drinks (beers and soft drinks). The atmosphere and setting, both inside and out, are very pleasant, making it suitable for business, family, or pleasure lunches or dinners.

05/03/2026: Excellent dinner experience this evening. The chef's appetizer was good and plentiful, everything very tasty. The first courses were also excellent, both in terms of portions and sauces, and the fish was truly excellent. Good wine list and bill, definitely worth considering! Excellent service, and the young woman who served us was very helpful.

03/01/2026: A very welcoming and charming place, it exudes calm and tranquility! A wide selection of teas and infusions of all kinds, catering to even the most refined or delicate palates. They pair perfectly with both biscuits (assorted or not) and homemade cakes. A very clean and well-kept place. A great place to meet friends or just enjoy some alone time. The very friendly staff is ready to satisfy every request and exudes a sense of tranquility.

13/02/2026: A good place for takeout. The food is well-prepared, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're a seafood fanatic, I recommend going on Fridays, when the fish arrives freshest. This will be the tenth time I've ordered from this place, and it has never disappointed me.

04/02/2026: Typical local agriturismo with good, authentic, traditional cuisine made with top-quality ingredients. Helpful and friendly staff. A well-maintained, typical country restaurant. Ample parking. Recommended for its excellent value! (The tortellini - tagliatelle and pears in Lambrusco are exceptional.) The wine is excellent.

18/12/2025: We stayed at Agriturismo Garuti during a quick getaway to the Modena area. The property enjoys an excellent location, nestled in the countryside, quiet and away from traffic. Unfortunately, however, this tranquility isn't fully reflected in the rooms: clean and simple, certainly, and comfortable enough, but the noise from the dining room prevents true rest, especially for those who have traveled many kilometers. The bathroom in our room was a bit dated, and the fixtures, while not small, are all clustered in one corner, making them inconvenient to use. The kitchen products appear to be of good quality, but for those who don't eat meat, the options are practically nonexistent. Breakfast, however, is more than adequate. It's a real shame, because the exterior is very beautiful: with a little more attention to the interior and less to the facade alone, this agriturismo could become much, much more attractive.

04/02/2026: Top restaurant. We had the grilled swordfish, grilled vegetables, and baked potatoes, and it was all delicious. They have a very extensive menu: both seafood and meat-based first courses, the same for main courses, a variety of vegetables, pizzas, and desserts, so you can choose anything. The prices are fair for the quality. The staff is friendly and helpful.

26/11/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. Delicious dishes and fresh ingredients. Friendly and efficient staff. Prices are below average, especially considering the high quality and generous portions. Plus, they're open late, when most other restaurants in the area are already closed.

28/02/2026: Great place to have pasta and some local foods! We came there on the weekday after visiting the Ferrari museum, and there was not much people. We liked traditional local tortellini in broth, and local gnocchi fritto dish. Beware , traditional Modena food is often pork heavy and creamy, but tasty 😋
