07/02/2026: Finally, a place where we ate both tigelle and gnocco fritto of the highest quality. We'll definitely be back. LOCATION: Rating 7. Nice restaurant with a beautiful veranda that unfortunately overlooks buildings. Behind the restaurant, however, you can enjoy a stunning view. SERVICE: Rating 10. Family-run, and I dare say, lovely people. Friendly and super friendly. MENU: Rating 10. You could tell the tigelle were coming by the smell of the dough: Fabulous. The gnocco fritto was tender and not greasy. The cured meats were good, and the sausage dip was very good. A touch of class: ricotta with jams. PRICE: Rating 10+. €75 for four people, including a bottle of wine.

07/11/2025: Unfortunately, this pizzeria is a bit hidden. We went for lunch near the cemetery, and it far exceeded our expectations. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the prices are very good, and the pizza is top-notch. The entrance is a bit confusing; it should be better signposted. Sit inside, and there are a few tables.

08/02/2026: At the end of a morning of 'unpleasant' work, we refreshed and comforted ourselves in this place we discovered by chance! And I must say, both my colleague and I were impressed! Huge space, renowned especially for its fish menu, but also offers traditional dishes and pizza! Well done! I recommend it!

28/01/2026: Lunch break, fillet overcooked without asking for it to be cooked and quite stringy, bread not brought to the table, and a distracted waiter who forgot some requests. Mediocre bresaola appetizer. High prices, especially for the quality of the ingredients. Maybe things will be different in the evening...

31/03/2026: The food is excellent. The portions aren't huge, but they're reasonable (I like generous portions). The place is well-attended. Prices are reasonable.

15/02/2026: Tried it for the first time on Sunday for lunch. Table of 5. 1 fried fish dish to share, 1 spaghetti with clams, 2 spaghetti chitarra, 1 poke, 1 portion of fried anchovies, 5 desserts. 3 waters, 2 glasses, 1 bottle of wine, 3 coffees. €210. €43 per person for a dish and a dessert. Service a bit slow, food good. Nice place. A bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. I also got some gnocchi to take home: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

29/03/2026: Great location, downtown. We ordered a platter and two drinks. The platter was really delicious and perfect for just having dinner. Excellent quality! I recommend it.

09/03/2026: I've been to Enoteca L'Archivio and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. A very elegant yet welcoming place, right in the heart of Modena. The wine selection is truly impressive, clearly showcasing great passion and knowledge. The staff is knowledgeable and can offer excellent recommendations based on your tastes. Perfect for both a quiet aperitif and an evening with friends enjoying good wine and quality products. The atmosphere is refined and the service is very friendly. Definitely one of those places I'll return to every time I pass through Modena. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: A pleasant evening at this place... good music. But the drinks are expensive.

07/03/2026: Bad experience. The tanned waiter put us with smokers when we weren't. We waited hours for a buffet that cost 15 euros for a meager portion. They forgot to bring the buffet tray. We spent a lot for nothing and were poorly served.

05/03/2026: It was a day organized by the gym I go to, we "only" used the spa, small but truly delightful, and the restaurant with excellent food.

17/02/2026: This is our second stay at the hotel, and we'll definitely be back. We took advantage of the "couple's dream" package: accommodation, spa, massage, dinner, and breakfast. Everything was top-notch. The intimate spa was equipped with everything you need, and the massage was performed by a true expert. Dinner was delicious once again (we highly recommend the tortellini in brodo), with generous portions and friendly service. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large bathrooms, and everything is thoughtfully designed and familiar, even the corridors recounting stories and fairytales. In short, an experience we highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the stresses of everyday life, pampered by the attentive management of the Hotel Parco Palagano.

27/11/2025: Given the reviews, expectations were high, so we decided to give it a try. My subjective opinion is more positive than negative, but not entirely positive. Let me explain, starting with the service: the owner's raucous laughter is disturbing and bursts out suddenly in the middle of a conversation (though it's still appreciated that he frequently stops by the tables); the recommended wine, a Ripasso, isn't up to par, alcoholic and dull, although the wine list is extensive and well-stocked, even though the prices are quite expensive. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the shelf of quality spirits bodes well for the end of the meal. Let's move on to the menu: I chose tortellini in broth, which were truly delicious, though it's a shame the portion was so small (!). I then went on to a slice of supposed venison (I thought it was beef!!!), also a tiny portion. The dessert (pear with zabaglione) was excellent. For the other diners, risotto, dry passatelli, guinea fowl, and a selection of cheeses were all excellent. When it came to the bill, unfortunately, we weren't offered the hoped-for after-dinner drink, and this, in my opinion, is a flaw in such a renowned restaurant. November 27, addendum: seriously, you make me laugh, not even being able to express a technical reply using Italian, just smileys, like children 😂

19/11/2025: We went to Dondi's with our family: 5 adults and a 2-year-old. As soon as we arrived, we found a high chair at the table that looked filthy and obviously broken (with holes in the plastic and no straps). We asked if it could be cleaned, and they told us it wasn't actually dirty, just ruined because they keep it outside, exposed to the elements. Oh well. We then asked if there was a children's menu or if they could at least make a simple tomato pasta dish for the baby. Both requests were denied. Lunch continued with excellent appetizers and first courses that were certainly well-made but very salty. Furthermore, almost an hour passed between the appetizers and the first course. In short, our expectations were high and were largely disappointed.

18/02/2026: The restaurant is located in the Garofano industrial area, and from the outside it looks like a cabin. There were six of us plus a little girl, and we ordered four trios: decent tortelloni with butter and sage, good two-tone ravioli with mushrooms and truffle, and delicious rainbow candies to finish. We also ordered two second courses of pasta, followed by gnocco and crescentine, both average, accompanied by some good cured meats. For sides, we also ordered the vegetable buffet, and for drinks, we ordered 1.5 liters of white wine and a few bottles of water. We then followed up with coffees, and the waiter brought us some liqueurs. The bill was average.

06/02/2026: We recently discovered this restaurant, and it's become a regular. Welcoming atmosphere, amazing food, handmade pasta, delicious tigelle, crescentine, and borlenghi, along with lovely charcuterie boards, beautifully cooked wild boar, and so much more! It's a must-try, with excellent value and attentive, friendly, and quick service.

22/02/2026: Excellent pizza. It's certainly a pizzeria in a sports center, but everything is well-presented. Tablecloths and napkins are made of coarse-textured cloth, and the waitress is helpful, friendly, and attentive. Delicious fish-based first courses, well-seasoned, though a little sparse on pasta, yet very inviting. Specialty pizzas, regular, pulled, and double-crust, are different from the norm and all interesting. The Sicilian-style "dogs" with various fillings are excellent. I had the Chantilly cream and chocolate chips, a good crème brulee. Homemade limoncello was also good, and was offered at the end. Excellent value. Table of 14. Spent €20 each.

09/12/2025: Came by this pizzaria on my bike tour. This pizza place by far one the best, a proper pizzeria. Staff are legends and gave me this huge pizza. It was delicious. Kept me warm during the night. Its a must

29/12/2025: Very good cappuccino. Tables in the well-sheltered piazza are perfect for sunbathing, better than on the slopes. The interior, with Wi-Fi and power outlets, is also a great place to work.
