27/09/2025: Gnocco fritto and tigelle were a wonderful discovery. We visited Modena and were recommended lunch here by some friends, and we were truly delighted. The cured meats and cheeses are good, and there's an excellent selection of Lambrusco wines as well. I recommend booking.

20/09/2025: The fried gnocco was good, but the cold cuts were nothing special. The mascarpone with the Barozzi-style cake... I didn't like it at all. It's really too expensive.

01/11/2025: Seeing as this place is in the Michelin guide, I expected more. The pasta dishes were quite good, although the portions were on the smaller side. The pork medallions were quite hard and the potato pure just tasteless. Desserts were good. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but not what we had initially expected.

26/10/2025: Unfortunately, I find myself writing a less than positive review of this place, which used to be one of our favorites. The difference since the last few times is that they've drastically reduced the amount of food on the plates. We had tortellini in broth, which was also salty and the broth tasted like stock cubes, but the most annoying thing was the number of tortellini, which was truly minimal, something that never happened in the past. Even with the gnocco, they usually kept offering it to you until you had to refuse, but that doesn't happen anymore. Even the cotolette petroniana seemed smaller than last time (although very good), and it's strange that if you ask for it plain, meaning just fried, it's not possible. With all those asterisks on the menu, we suspect it's all frozen and reheated. Even for dessert, the zuppa inglese had no cream, just biscuits, when in the past it was completely the opposite and we were amazed by how good it was. As for the bill, I don't know if the prices have gone up, but we certainly didn't get the usual treatment. For what we paid, it was not worth it and we are really sorry about that.

14/08/2025: In my opinion, the gelato is high-quality. It's appropriately stored in a well, not displayed in a tub. Various flavors are available, including some sophisticated and unusual ones. The open-plan lab is lovely; customers are interested in knowing where their favorite treats are made. I would make one point: perhaps it's best not to leave some of the "processes" visible in the lab, otherwise it could have the opposite effect.

07/10/2025: I'm having a wonderful time! I discovered this place on my second day of work at Levi, a school less than 300 meters away. You can walk there, and I have to say I was immediately amazed by the quantity and, above all, the variety of food (maybe not all top-notch, but the prices are almost like those of a soup kitchen... So). The staff is almost entirely women (all with smiles plastered on their faces), and besides being friendly, it's a pleasure to watch them work as a team. And, as we all know, a winning team NEVER CHANGES! I hope to be able to keep coming for 2 or 3 lunches a week like I am now... Congratulations. P.S. Update October 25th: I think the quality has improved!

22/02/2025: Excellent service, extraordinary ability to invent a vegetarian and gluten-free dinner on the spot, without any warning, being vegetarian 😁 the other diners all praised and greatly appreciated the very high quality of the meat and how it is cooked, highly recommended

22/02/2025: An excellent restaurant catering to meat lovers, but not only... the chef was able to positively and without warning accommodate a celiac and vegetarian guest. The quality of the meat is unquestionable, the wine list is extensive and varied, the restaurant is tidy and clean, and there are no cooking odors in the dining room. Excellent value for money. An experience worth repeating.

13/04/2025: Ci troviamo qui in 5 amici, frequentatori assidui e contenti di questo locale che ci piace moltissimo per la qualità del cibo , rigorosamente tipico di quella zona tra Modena e Bologna in cui viviamo 🙃😄 Puntuali alle 13 ci viene proposto il tris di primi : famosissimi tortelloni alla ricotta conditi con burro e e salvia, uno splendido cannellone xl con gli asparagi ed i migliori tortellini in brodo della zona, porzioni molto abbondanti. Già a questo punto saremmo sazi, decidiamo però di prendere un assaggio di secondi, quindi procediamo con un buonissimo carpaccio di manzo con ABTDM, arrosto ripieno di carciofi ed un ottimo pollo agli aromi ; da bere il lambrusco di produzione propria , acqua il caffè fatto con la moka ed il dolce, io ho scelto il semifreddo. Posto da tornare assiduamente

02/03/2025: Dopo anni sono ritornata in questo ristorante con amici. Location sicuramente migliore nel periodo estivo, andando in inverno e di sabato sera il locale era pieno e le sale hanno un'acustica che non aiuta, molta confusione e brusio forte che non permette di conversare , ma la cosa che mi e' dispiaciuta maggiormente e' stata scoprire solo al momento dell'indicazione a voce del menu', a causa della confusione abbiamo dovuto richiedere più volte di ripeterlo, che era fisso 3 primi proponendoli in tris e come secondo gnocco tigelle e 2 intingoli , cosa che ne in sede di prenotazione ne sul sito era indicata . Abbiamo scelto 1 solo primo, tortelli ricotta burro e salvia che erano scotti e totalmente insapori e scarsi come porzione singola , gnocco tigelle e affettato invece discreti . Correttezza da parte del gestore al momento del conto di ridurlo per un commensale che per problemi dentali non aveva potuto praticamente mangiare nulla di quanto proposto a menù .

01/05/2025: Two tireless, very friendly and nice guys, Claudio and Mirca manage their well-kept and well-stocked shop with delicious typical Emilian home cooking starting with tortellini which have no equal, exceptional lasagne, delicious rosettes and many other excellent first courses and just as many second courses including excellent fresh fish prepared in various ways, plus they have managed to have very attentive staff, nice and competent with the customer. They deserve many visits to savor their delicacies. Well done, well done. I forgot the magnificent desserts prepared by them, exceptionally good. Even though I went to live in another town, as soon as I can I go to them who are a certainty, then as they say never leave the old road for the new one.... you know what you leave behind, you don't know what you find

30/08/2025: We found this restaurant by chance and were undecided, because we usually don't change new places, but today we discovered a top place on the Japanese food list. We were amazed by the quality, taste, speed and kindness! A top place! All the dishes are delicious and treated with care and you can see that there is passion and love in every dish! I highly recommend it, plus the Japanese cheesecake dessert amazed me! Soft, delicate and delicious!!!! We will definitely be back even if the price is a little high it deserves it. Too bad they don't have a play corner 😂😂 top top top

24/08/2025: This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant that's worth a try. Ordering via tablet is quick and easy, and the service is efficient. I found the cocktail selection really interesting, especially for someone like me who loves gin: a nice surprise for sushi. The food is good overall, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. There isn't one dish that particularly surprised me, but overall the selection is solid and tasty. The only complaint is the price, which is a bit higher than the average all-you-can-eat restaurant, but I think it's justified by the variety and quality offered, including the excellent selection of cocktails.

28/08/2025: If you come here as a traveler with a hungry stomach, you will not be disappointed! Fantastic place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, it looks a bit run down, the entrance to the building is located after a dilapidated garden. But I can't imagine a more authentic Italian place than this for a cheap but substantial lunch menu on the go. Expect a maximum of 20 euros per person (August 2025 example). On half an A4 sheet of paper (that "menu") they offer 3-4 types of first and second courses, with 3-4 types of vegetable rounds to choose from. In other words, a humpbacked pile of pasta and a good palm-sized or more meat, with delicious side dishes (polenta, fried potatoes, rapini, etc.). The portions are huge, enough for a hungry truck driver - there were quite a few trucks there. If you go this way, don't miss it! And thanks to the restaurant for the excellent food! 🤩

07/10/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable, considering it's the Netherlands. The place is crowded, with quick service.

03/10/2025: A perfect place to grab a snack and keep your energy up during a visit to Modena. The dishes look exactly like the photos on the menu—what you see is what you get. We ordered a set of four plates: one starter, a first course, and two second courses. The flavors were well-balanced, and the spices were not overpowering. The service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better.

14/10/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for a while now, and I'm always impressed by the quality of the fresh fish dishes, expertly cooked and tastefully presented. The staff is friendly and attentive—a rarity these days. Special thanks to Pino, the owner, a true gentleman, always present and attentive to every detail. His passion is evident in every corner of the restaurant. A place where you feel pampered and where you always want to return. Recommended!

19/09/2025: The place is quite dated, as are the staff, but overall the food is very good, with both meat and seafood dishes, including pizza. The service is also very good, and the prices are in line with the restaurant, especially considering they often offer liqueurs or coffee. I will definitely be back.
